  58. You ask was this a real Ukrainian victory? Ukraine was supposed to have been defeated in 3 days and here we are 7 months later and Ukraine has just taken back 9000 square k of occupied territory. Against the supposed 2nd largest military in the world. In fact, if we look at it objectivly and all things considered it's most probably up there as one of the most successful offensives since the 2nd world war. The Russian forces did not retreat they were routed. There's a big difference. You say Ukrainians suffered 40 percent casualties, these will be replaced by another 10 thousand UK-trained troops and any equipment lost has been more than replaced by the Russian equipment left during the route, enough to equip a division. Kherson seems to have been a feint in force. Why tell the Russians for nearly 4 months you were going to attack them in Kherson? Why not keep it top secret and take the Russian forces there by surprise? They were relatively weak before they were reinforced. Why wait before Kherson was actually reinforced by thousands of troops from the East? It only makes sense from the viewpoint of very skillful feint and deception. The Ukrainians seemed to have drawn these Russian forces from the East to both weaken the Donbas front and trap these forces in Kherson by destroying all the resupply routes and bridges. It makes no sense for Ukraine to wait for the Russians to reinforce the Kherson region and then attack across open fields and terrain. The forces in Kherson are being strangled with no way to fully resupply forces there. No need for Ukraine to go all out in an offensive that will cost thousands of lives when they can just suffocate the Russian forces. Without sufficient logistics, food and ammo, the Russian forces can not fight. The Ukrainians have effectively destroyed the speartip of the Russian professional army, what makes you think the 300,000 reservists can make any difference? Even if they could get to the frontline straight away how are they going to be effective with no training? Without proper equipment? What about winter gear? Russian logistics are being smashed every single day by Himars and another 18 have just been sent. As i write this Lyman is nearly completely surrounded which will lead to a complete collapse on that front, the 2nd Russian collapse of the Ukraine war. Russia has lost this war, without the shadow of a doubt. If they were able they would have finished the Ukrainians off 7 months ago that alone tells us Russia can not win this war. But we must all fear and consider Russia is a nuclear weapons power and I really do think if he and his military are threatened with total defeat he will use nukes. When/if he uses them all bets are off and we must then fear for this world and humanity. For what? It's surreal that we may all be killed because of a little fella with a big ego.

  89. Your casualty figures are pure fantasy. The standard, widely accepted figures for military engagements are it takes 3 attackers to 1 defender. You quoted Ukrainian casualties at up to 1000 per day. This means there must be a minimum of 3000 Russian casualties per day. You basically say that Ukrainian training at Nato training grounds is useless but refrain from stating that Mobilised Russians get no training at all. The British army alone is training 10 thousand Ukrainians every 3 months. These troops are mainly defending so their training is more than enough to repel cannon fodder attacks by Russian forces. You quote 80 percent of Ukrainian reinforcements have never fired a weapon, that tells me that Russia is being defeated and beaten back by the weakest Ukrainian forces. So where are the elite Ukrainian forces............. As for tanks and armored vehicles, Ukraine has now got more heavy armor than it had at the start of the war. They captured more tanks from the Russians than were supplied by the entirety of NATO. The Russians are being bled dry, their casualties are truly horrific and even if they take Bhakmut, the Ukrainians have had plenty of time to build up secondary lines of defense just as strong. So the Russians will have to do it all over again. You can be assured Ukrainian casualties are nowhere as bad as the Russian attackers but with a million trained and partially trained mobilized troops Ukraine, backed up by the West will never go down easily. Even if Russia wins, which is very doubtful, they will face an insurgency every bit as bad as the USSR faced in Afghanistan. That was the final nail in the USSR economic coffin. Now contrary to Russian propaganda, the Russian Federation is NOT the soviet union, it is much smaller population-wise and much smaller economically. It can not occupy Ukraine it would take 2 million troops at a conservative estimate. And the Western sanctions against Russia will never end. The world will then have a giant-sized North Korea to deal with, absolutely dirt-poor but saturated with Nukes. But that is a whole new problem.

  114. ALL supplies given to Ukraine reach their intended destinations now. Back in April, 30-40 percent of supplies were reaching their destinations in good time. That has now increased to nearly 100 percent. The Americans have a dedicated Brigadier General, Garrick Harmon, liasing with KYIV on arms control and monitoring. So your figures are out of date and no longer valid. Your description of 200,000 thousand Ukrainian casualties is complete pie in the sky. Russia has been attacking. The internationally recognized ratio of force when attacking is 3 to1. This means that attacking forces are going to lose 3 Kia or wounded for 1 Ukrainian KIA or wounded, so how can the Ukrainians who have been defending have 200,000 casualties this means that Russian casualties are around 600,000. You cant have your cake and eat it. All Ukrainian positions have been fortified since 2014 and have been built to withstand heavy artillery firepower. When this has become too much Ukrainian forces have just retreated back to secondary defensive lines in good order and when Russian forces have advanced they have been cut to pieces and gained very small incremental areas at massive casulaties. Without heavy artillery, Russia would have been defeated months ago because of the very poor tactics, decision-making, and morale of the Russian troops. Ukraine is a big country and the Ukrainian armed forces are simply doing what the soviet union did in world war 2 giving up territory very slowly while inflicting heavy casualties on Russian forces and extending logistical supplies. At the rate, the Russian military is advancing it will take another 6 months to take the rest of the Donbas. By this time Ukraine will have received the American lend-lease package of 40 billion dollars on top of the money they have already been given. In addition, at least 20 thousand Ukrainian troops will have been trained to NATO standards and will be armed with NATO weapons and heavy equipment because you are correct there will not be any more soviet weaponry left to give to Ukraine. The Americans are already in the process of placing a top General in a position to coordinate the production of weaponry specifically for Ukraine. Don't forget Western production is based on a combined GDP of 50 trillion compared to Russia's GDP of 1.6 trillion. The Soviet Union was a true superpower much more powerful both Military and economically than the Russian Federation and yet it collapsed under the pressure placed upon it by the Afghanistan war and the economic burden of competition with the West. What makes you think it's going to be any different this time? With the sanctions placed on Russia time is not on Putins side and if Russia takes all of Ukraine don't think things are going to stop and everything goes back to normal. The sanctions against Russia will never stop and only get more severe. And it will be virtually impossible for Russia to pivot to the East and make up for the loss of Western Oil and Gas markets. And if there is a full-blown recession Oil will drop below 50 dollars a barrel and Russia will no longer be classed as even a regional power because the collapse of the Russian economy will be severe. Western nations have up to August, already in storage, 75 percent of Gas needed in Reserve for the winter. Over the next 2-3 months this will have risen to 100 percent well ahead of schedule. This means there will be NO gas shortages over the Winter months. Yes prices are going to go through the roof no question of that but western nations are already putting in place financial packages for the general population that will mitigate the worst of the price increases. It will still be painful but people will manage. If Putin thinks his finger on the gas trigger is going to make the West back down I very much doubt that is going to happen. Time is on Ukraine's side. People are concentrating on the military side so much they are forgetting the economics of this war. It is impossible for Russia to compete in any shape or form with the West. I am not even talking now about the military side of things, Russia can take the whole of Ukraine but it is very doubtful there will even be a unified Russia to enjoy the spoils of its victory its economic collapse will be so bad. The west will never accept a win for Russia in Ukraine because it means every other country in the East is under threat, they can't back down. Putin gambled big time and has failed big-time win or lose in Ukraine. I wish the ordinary people of Russia a good life but under Putin, i fear the worst. I hope one day you can return to civilization but I fear the distrust of Russia will last for generations. It is so sad because Russia has so much to offer the world.

  233. Your wasting your time with all the hoping and coping on here. The Luhansk offensive has already been stopped in its tracks. The Ukrainians are now into phase 2 of their offensive and using some Western-trained troops and equipment, but not all of it. We can already see Russian forces starting to crumble in the south and around Bakhmut. Seriously, Russia is in big, deep trouble. The Russian military has failed in Ukraine and the Economy is collapsing. Putin and his cronies have destroyed the Russian people for generations. This will become apparent very soon. I hope one day Russia will rejoin civilization, it's got so much to offer the world, but until they face up to the horror they have inflicted on Ukraine and rid themselves of the corrupt kleptocracy running their country, there really is no hope. Russia is now a rogue nation, a pirate state, with no regard for international law. It is one of the few countries ruled by a war criminal who understands only strength and regards peaceful diplomacy as weakness. Look what his bullying tactics have got him, a war that may result in the break up of the Russian Federation, a descent into poverty once more for the people of Russia, for no reason except the vain glory old man's dreams of empire. The Russian people need to wake up, get back to reality, and forget the warmongering before it's too late. Putin is already teaching Russian kids how to fire weapons and hate the big, bad west, but you don't see any of the Russian elite's kids going to fight on the front line, do you? Their children go to the big, bad Wests educational colleges, they live and work in the West and have great lives in the West while the normal Russian people are groomed for perpetual warfare and sent to the front lines with no equipment and very little, if any, training. Wake up before it's too late. Russia is too important to fail but another year of Putin's rule will see the complete moral and economic collapse of what was once a great people.

  263. The Ukrainian military is in good order. The Russian military has been taking massive losses and will continue to do so. Ukraine has given up land, not the war. Ukraine has a reserve of up to 1 million troops that are being trained to NATO standards as we speak. More and more light and heavy weapons are pouring into Ukraine on a daily basis. Ukrainian troops are not far from Kherson now and inflicted many casualties on Ammunition and command barracks in that area. Ukrainians are fighting for their land and families, Russians are either fighting for money or haven't got a clue what they are fighting for. Ukrainian morale is higher than it's ever been and the longer this war goes on the worse it's going to be for Russia. NATO has now expanded and is more united than ever before. Ukraine now hates Russia, even Ukrainian Russian speakers, and will never trust the Russians again. Russia/USSR could never subjugate the Afghans so what makes them think Ukraine is going to be any easier? Putin is so arrogant he thinks he can compete with the west with a population of nearly 1 billion and combined GDP of 50 trillion. Russia is an economic minnow. Its GDP is less than the state of texas. And its military is a paper tiger. The USSR was much bigger economically, much stronger militarily, and with a much larger population and it collapsed because of its direct competition with the west and a major conflict in Afghanistan. There is nothing Russia can now do to reverse what's going to happen to them. The West is in this for the long haul and will never stop supporting Ukraine. They have no choice. Putin has awoken a sleeping giant. by the end of the year, Oil and Gas will be banned from Russia and will never resume. Who can trust Russia ever again? China and India will screw Russia into the ground on prices, and Russia will never be able to make up the shortfall in business with the west. A lot of Russian oil and gas will still make it to western markets because India will just sell the oil on for bigger profits so there will never be a shortage in the west, but when wind, solar and nuclear amongst others kick in it won't matter anyway. I don't say any of this with joy because i think the Russian people deserve better. I just hope Putin, Medvedev, Lavrov, and the rest of the cronies are kicked out so the Russian people can eventually rejoin the civilized world. What a country Russia could be with its marvelous people and unlimited resources.

  309. You talk about ''massive gains''. It has taken the 2nd army in the world 4 months to take a few small towns and Bakhmut still holds. The rest of the ''advances'' you spent the entire video describing, are so small they don't even register on the Full map of Ukraine. But these so-called tiny advances are costing the Russian forces massive casualties and serious equipment losses. They are tactical victories not strategic and will make no difference to the outcome of this war. In fact, it is more than likely that the current Ukrainian positions are nothing more than anvils to smash and inflict as much damage on the advancing Russian forces as possible. Rusian forces are constantly attacking, which means heavy casualties, much heavier than the Ukrainians who suffer at most one-tenth the casualties of Russian forces. At the current rate of tiny advances, it will take the Russian hordes years to take just the Donbas in its entirety. Ukraine will have won before the end of this year. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military is building up elements of its forces for a decisive counterattack. This will be backed up by Tanks, Jets, and long-range missiles. Ukraine up to now has been fighting this war with 1 arm tied behind its back and it's still had 3 or 4 strategic victories. What do you think is going to happen when the new offensive weaponry starts arriving over the next couple of months? There are 60 thousand Ukrainian military forces being trained in Nato countries and they will be available very shortly just in time to pick up their new equipment as they move back into Ukraine. You have spoken only of Russian advances obviously because there is no news coming from the Ukrainian side. I wonder why that is? Could they be preparing a little surprise for the mighty Russian Army? We shall see very shortly. Meanwhile, there is still a lot of fighting to do in Bakhmut, and a lot of Russian invaders to kill. While over the hill, somewhere, Ukraine prepares and waits with its new toys, ready to inflict upon the Russians its greatest defeat since the 2nd world war. It's coming.

  319. The Russian Professional military forces in Ukraine have been fought to a standstill and are now being routed on the battlefield. What makes you think a ragtag reservist force of out-of-shape, drunk people who don't want to be there is going to have any effect against up to 1 million battle-hardened Ukrainian soldiers? The West so far has only sent the minimum amount of military hardware, such as 16 Himars and maybe 2-3 hundred heavy artillery pieces, what do you think is going to happen when the West really turns on the tap and starts sending Aircraft, Tanks, more Himars, more artillery, etc? Because that's what's going to happen if the Russians are able to get these reservists to the front. The Russians have a GDP of 1.6 Trillion against the Western powers with a GDP of 50 Trillion. This basically means unlimited logistics will be flowing to the Ukrainians. And that supply chain can never be stopped unless Russia wants a war with NATO which I very much doubt. Russia is already having difficulties feeding and arming its current forces on the front line, how is it going to feed and arm another 300,000 thousand troops? It's impossible. These reservists don't even want to be there, they most probably won't even get paid properly if at all. While the Ukrainians are fighting for their country's very existence. Ukraine must defeat the Russians because they can't allow them to annex all the most productive areas of the country and if Ukraine loses its coast and Ports it would be economic and cultural suicide for them. I hope Putin is removed because if his back is to the wall I can see the Tactical nukes flying which would mean the end of the Russian Federation and if that doesn't work for him it may even be the big strategic missiles being launched which means the end of mankind. All for what, to massage a megalomaniac's small man syndrome.

  320. No one is being honest here about the reality of Bahkmut. It was a pyrrhic victory and everybody understands this. It may actually cause the defeat of the Russians on the entire Eastern front because so much capital was invested and lost by the Russians in trying to take it. The panel is dismissing battlefield casualties and speculating that the ratio is 1 to 1. Complete rubbish. If a military force is attacking well-defended, reinforced positions, manned by troops with very high morale, it is logical to expect much higher casualties among the attacking troops, it can be no other way. A minimum figure has to be estimated that's why a 3 to 1 doctrine is always used. 3 attackers to 1 defender. In Bakhmut it was most probably much higher because the attacking troops were mainly untrained prisoners. Actual core Wagner fighter casualties were most probably pretty low until the flow of Prisoners (cannon fodder) stopped. That's when Wagner started having serious problems because Prigozhin had to use his core fighters, who started to suffer real casualties. No more cannon fodder available. When that happened Wagner PMC could no longer make a difference on the ground because Prigozhin would never risk his core mercenaries because they are the only thing guaranteeing his survival in any future civil war in Russia ( The elite with the biggest private army will win ) and continued prosperity ( plundering Africa). It's probable that Wagner suffered 90 percent casualties in taking Bakhmut. The Moscow Times and Meduza wrote articles by Olga Romanova, the head of Russia Behind Bars, a prisoner rights group. Most probably the one person able to give fairly accurate figures on Prisoner casualties outside of the Russian military, although she was forced to flee the Russian dictatorship or end up in jail, she still works for the rights of Russian prisoners and has extensive contacts throughout Russian civil society. She stated that out of 50 thousand prisoners recruited, up to 43 thousand were killed, wounded, went awol, or were captured/surrendered. This was backed up partially by Prighozin himself who stated that 20 thousand Wagner fighters were killed. If we have 4 wounded to 1 killed it's starting to look as if 100,000 Russian casualties is the cost of Russian( Phyrric) victory in Bakhmut. This is the reason no one in the West is calling this a victory. Its nothing to do with mainstream media putting a shade over Russia's' victory'. 100,000 casualties in a single battle not including Russian losses in other areas of Ukraine is nothing less than catastrophic. No one in their right mind is going to say BAkhmut was worth the price, a relatively unimportant, very small town, whose capture is not going to make any strategic difference to the Ukranian's position in this war. Why do you think Ukraine has delayed its own offensive, even though the ground and weather are now much better for offensive operations? Because they know that attacking always leads to higher casualties., they want to make sure there are no mistakes. And without a doubt, they will have learned valuable lessons from the Battle of Bakhmut. But the Ukrainian morale is much higher and they know they cannot retreat because they are fighting for their homes and families against a horde of murdering rapists and looters. Well, you would fight to the death to defend your family and home against men without honor, wouldn't you?

  364. You never once mentioned that Russia is also suffering big shortages in its missile inventories. Russia is fast running out of missiles, especially precision-guide weapons. The Russians are incapable of using its missiles and Shaheed drones against Ukrainian military forces that's why they hit civilian buildings. Ukraine will just save its anti-air defenses for the Russian airforce and continue to prevent Russian air superiority over the Ukranian front lines which will become the priority. This will obviously mean more civilian casualties but just killing civilians and making their life hard has never won any major conflict unless the fighting forces have been defeated strategically. Also, you failed to mention that the Russian Airforce although numerically superior in physical number of planes has a '' ..catastrophic shortage of well-trained and experienced aviators.'' They also very rarely train with other military assets and almost never in true combined arms, large-scale exercises. The truth is that Russian pilots are poorly trained and will never gain air superiority over Ukraine, or be a real threat to Ukraine's front-line counter-offensives. Proof of that? Putin's war is now 14 months old and Russia has still not gained Air superiority against Ukraine's air force which is many orders of magnitude smaller. You seem to emphasize Ukraine's imminent shortfall of air defense as if that will be the deciding factor in the Ukranian counter-offensives but I think that will be the least of Russia's upcoming problems.
    4
  365. You're describing the Russian attacks as if they are some kind of blitzkrieg. It's a 3-day operation that's lasted over 6 months so far. Russia is taking over territory at a snail's pace and suffering very heavy losses. Attacking forces lose troops at the internationally accepted rate of at least 3 to 1. By the time Russia has taken its objectives, Its very heavy casualties will make it impossible to hold on to any of the territories it has taken. How is Russian going to occupy 30 percent of Ukrainian territory when it has lost up to 80 thousand casualties and suffered so many tank losses that they have taken old T_62 tanks out of storage? You say brand new T-90 tanks are heading into Ukraine, I saw about 3 transporters with no date attached to them. Ukrainian forces are defending in well-prepared positions, inflicting heavy losses and if need be retreating to rear defensive positions. They are giving up land for time. The same principle was used by the soviets during ww2. Look at the land the Nazis took in the first 2 years of the war on all fronts but we all know how that ended up. Russia has lost this war. The soviet union was much more powerful than the Russian Federation. It had a much bigger military and economy and was a true superpower but the war in Afghanistan, with a fraction of the casualties Russia has suffered in Ukraine, was the catalyst for the collapse of the Soviet Union. Why do you think it's going to be any different in Ukraine? The Ukrainians are fighting for their country, and their families, they have nowhere else to go. Russians don't know what they are fighting for besides money. Even the lowliest Russian soldier now knows that talk of Nazis and de-Nazification is a load of rubbish. Its just a pure land grab by Putin. He gambled on a very quick victory and he failed. All the talk about Russian victories rings hollow when innocent men, women, and children are being killed every day by Russian indiscriminate artillery and rocket fire. Russia will be punished for what they have done in Ukraine and the shame will take generations to wash off.

  420. It is not the Russo-Ukranian war, it's Putin's War. It's a Russian invasion and the Ukranians are defending their homes and Lands. Prigozhin misinformed and lied from the start of this interview to the end. Olga Romanova, spokeswoman for the main Prisoner rights organization in Russia has said that 40 thousand prisoners have been recruited to fight in Ukraine. 32 thousand have been killed, wounded, surrendered, gone Awol, or just gone missing in action. She stated that only 8 thousand remain within the Wagner group. This is why he is no longer recruiting in prisons because prisoners now understand that it means certain death or maiming in Ukraine and he can no longer get them to join. Also, most prisoners are not murderers or rapists. They have families and can be rehabilitated into society this means the prisoner rights organization for these prisoners is a very focused group and can be problematic for the authorities. You have just heard the so-called commander of these prisoners calling them dumbasses and disorganized people and virtually blaming them for their own deaths when the reality is they are sent to attack the Ukranian positions in human waves. They have next to no training, no equipment, and light weapons totally unsuited to attacking heavily defended, reinforced positions. Why equip walking-dead men? He stated that deserters are shot but neglected to explain that any troops retreating on the battlefield are also shot. So they can't move forward and they can't go back. Prigozhin has zero concern for these troops and laughing and joking all the way through this interview reinforces that view. He is a devil and theirs a very special place in hell for that man. Bakhmut is serving its purpose. The defenders are inflicting massive casualties on the Russan attackers and according to those defenders the Russian dead and wounded are left where they fell. Even if it falls, and that's a big IF, it will be a Pyrrhic victory and definitely not worth the massive casualties. According to the Times Newspaper, Russia is losing 2000 troops for every 100 yards won. This is about the size of an American football field. When this war ends the Russian people will be shocked and devastated at the losses suffered by Russian troops, and they will learn about them when the troops that survive return home and describe the hell that they went through. Someone will pay for those losses. Putin has made one of the worst geopolitical mistakes in history by attacking Ukraine, which will cause the military defeat of the Russian forces and the collapse of the Russian economy. Jan 2023 was the worst deficit in Russian history and this is only the beginning. The only people who can stop this madness are the Russian people. I hope they realize that Putin is destroying any decent future they hoped to have and decide to stop cooperating in this mad genocide of the Ukrainian people. Stop him or go down with him.

  434. 20 minutes of explaining how the Russians have had one of the biggest arse kicking's in the entire illegal invasion. They have lost thousands of troops and hundreds of Tanks and armored vehicles and your final conclusion was if Russian forces can keep on taking casualties like this they can win? The Russians won't last 4 months with 'victories' on this scale. Even if they take that sector, it won't make any difference strategically, the Ukrainians will just cede territory, retreat to other well prepared defensive positions and start all over again. But Russian forces will be devastated for very little return. Yes, it may turn out to be another Bakhmut, a pyrrhic victory that destroyed and led to the downfall of the Wagner group. And if you look at the front in that sector Ukraine are dangerously close to encircling that destroyed town and are making great gains, so what did Bakhmut achieve in the overall strategic view for the invaders? Nothing. Same with Avdivka. Ukraine can last another couple of years at this level of fighting. The Russian economy won't. Oil and gas revenues down by 70 percent since 2021. The Rouble is crashing even after artificial support its still at 95 to 1 dollar. This is only the beginning. Every month there is a deficit in revenue, this is supported by the Russian Sovereign Wealth Fund which has enough money for maybe 6-12 months. The Russian economy will collapse before the Russian military has any chance of defeating Ukraine. Putin's imperial gamble, with the support of the Russian people, has failed. One of the greatest geostrategic failures in modern times. And who will pay for this failure? The Russian people. You must realize that even if Russia can take Ukraine, and enslave its people, don't think for 1 minute that's the end of it. The partisan war will begin that will make Afghanistan look like a walk in the park. And that war collapsed the Soviet Union, a much stronger economic and military power than Russia could ever be. Good luck with that.

  438. In the 2nd world war the Nazis advanced every single day. They took town after town and city after city. The Soviet Troops retreated and took up alternative defensive lines. It looked bad but eventually the Nazi logistics became so bad and the loses so extreme that when the Nazis got to the major cities of the Soviet Union they were held and eventually defeated. We have here a repeat so similar it is uncanny. The Russian Fascist invaders are advancing, not as quickly as their brethren, Nazi Germans, but still, they are advancing very, very slowly. But the invading Russians are suffering such extreme loses in equipment and especially men that eventually they will be halted and defeated as the Ukrainians get more equipment, shells, tanks and aircraft. If they have to, the Ukrainians can recruit another 1 million men and women to defend their main cities. If Russia think this is moving towards the end of their invasion, they are badly mistaken. This is the beginning. In the East the Russians have advanced 12 kilometers in 2 years. It has cost them their entire professional Army. At a minimum Russia has lost 350,000 troops killed and wounded. They are using tanks from the 50's because of the constant losses of equipment. Russia, even at full capacity, can only make up 10 percent of those tank loses and i don't even think they are producing artillery. It is estimated Russia has enough old Soviet Union reserves to last between 1 and 2 years. After that, nothing. If there is one thing i understand, it is that Ukraine can easily last several more years at this level of conflict. But before then the sleeping giant of the West will have awoken. They now understand the grave threat Russia and the gangsters in the Kremlin present to the civilised world. Before the begining of June, Ukraine will have up to 2 million shells delivered. F-16 will be delivered and possibly Swedish Gripen jets. Long Range ballistic missiles are being negotiated at this moment. More tanks and artillery are being sourced. Meanwhile the Ukrainians hold back the meat waves and keep inflicting catastrophic damage on the Russian forces, they lost 47 thousand soldiers and 600 tanks and armoured vehicles just taking Avdivka. There are another 130 towns like that not including the major cities. Even if by some miracle they take Ukraine, then the insurgency starts. This will make Afghanistan look like a Childrens tea party, armed and supported by the West just over the border, it will never end. Sucking the life blood from Putin and his supporters. Permanent insurgency in Ukraine and permanent sanctions, you know they are never going to end, will destroy the Russian Federation. Afghanistan was the final straw that forced the collapse of the Soviet Union, which was a bigger, wealthier, stronger Union than the Russian Federation could ever hope to be. Russia is finished and a few more kilometers of advancing is not going to make any difference to the final outcome.

  458. Oh, the irony. The 3-day war is now 1 and a half years old. The Kremlin and Moscow are getting attacked, the Russian border is non-existent, Russian rebel groups are attacking Russia on a near-daily basis and the Ukranians are about to launch a massive counterattack that has every chance of being successful and inflicting one of the worst defeats on Russia since the 2nd world war. Nato is stronger and more unified than its ever been. Natos Border is larger than it's ever been. Nato has expanded through Finland and Sweden. Russia is under the worst sanctions that have ever been placed on another country. 142 countries condemned Russia at the UN, twice. Many countries that used to fear and respect Russia now look upon that troubled country with contempt after discovering it's a paper tiger completely hollowed out by corruption. Russia will go down in history worse than Nazi Germany, Pol Pots Cambodia, Kims North Korea, Assads Syria, and the medieval State of Iran. Putin and Russia are on the wrong side of history and when the people who supported this wicked, fascist state look back on how they glorified and supported Putin and his Mafia Kleptocracy, they will have to look away from the mirror in shame. We must thank Putin/Russia for one thing and that is finally giving the West the backbone to stand up to these fascist dictatorships. Hopefully, the collapse of Russia will not take the entire world down with it. Because it's coming, the complete economic and moral collapse of what could have been an amazing country, peacefully contributing to the advancement of its own people and civilization in general. I hope Russia enjoys becoming a vassal of the Peoples's Republic of China. Thanks Putin.

  514.  @lintrichards6007  The figures and facts speak fo themselves. The 3-day war is rapidly approaching 2 years. If Russia was not being constantly defeated the 2nd army in the world would have won within the first few months of the conflict, yes? The length of time speaks volumes. Russia has been attacking for most of that time so by following accepted military doctrine must have been losing troops at a ratio of at least 3 to 1. It's much higher than this but let's not be picky. Russia has lost most of its top-of-the-range tanks. Why else are they sending 70-year-old equipment into battle? The original 150-200 thousand professional army has largely been destroyed. Why else has Putin mobilized 350 thousand civilians to fight in Ukraine? And has never really stopped recruiting, its just not advertised the way the original mobilization was handled. Olga Romanova has stated 35 thousand Russian prisoners have been killed, look her up. That's just prisoners, including regular and core Wagner fighters we are looking at 100,000 casualties just in Bakhmut alone. Prigohzin himself said 20 thousand Wagner fighters died, now if we add wounded at a ratio of 3 or 4 to 1 killed that's easy 100,000 casualties. Now the rest of Ukraine's frontlines must be added onto that and we are looking at easily 200,000 Russian casualties. It does not take a rocket scientist to use a little bit of logic and common sense to see that these figures are in the ballpark. As for the counter-offensive Ukraine will utterly destroy Russian defenses. It's not the trenches and fortified positions that matter but the Troops manning those defenses and the Russian conscript/mobilized army will not fight for a cause they don't even believe in or understand. They will Run. Guaranteed.

  537.  @joket4445  You're not even looking at the facts. Russia is supposed to be the 2nd army in the world. More tanks than any other army. Its VDV elite airborne was 45 thousand strong just one unit of its military. And yet it has been fought to a relative standstill by a country a third its size. Russia is still trying to move forward after 13 months of fighting. 50 percent of the land it captured has been retaken. It has been trying to take Bakhmut for 8 months and it's still trying. These are facts. If we interpret them logically it's telling us that Russia is losing badly. The Kremlin had to mobilize over 300,000 thousand more men, which indicates massive losses as well. The Russian state had to send in mercenaries because the Professional Russian army has lost so many men and has performed worse than Iraqi troops in the gulf war. Again it does not take a genius to work all this out. The Russians have been attacking for 13 months. The normal military doctrine says you need 3 men to every 1 defender, again this tells us Russian casualties are at least 3 killed and wounded to every 1 Ukranian killed and wounded. But the true figure is much, much higher because the Russians are just doing human wave attacks against well-defended positions. No one is denying there are Ukrainian losses, certainly not me, but they are far fewer than Russia's plus Ukraine medical triage is far superior than Russia's. Meaning more wounded survive and can go back to the front. You cant argue with the facts.

  605. The gloating and trolling is sickening. Russia has lost 70 thousand troops to capture a very small mining town less than 5 km in size. The attempt at equivalency in sugar-coating Russia's illegal and genocidal invasion of Ukraine as a clash of equal opposing armies is nothing less than disgusting. Discussing Russian forces as heroic and brave when they are no better than Hitler's invasion forces in the 2nd world War is a mistake. Trying to justify Russia's invasion as if it was some noble undertaking instead of what it really is a homicidal invasion of a peaceful society just discovering its freedom, paints a disturbing picture of a Russian society morally bankrupt and destined for the rubbish pit of history. Every excuse for this invasion is straight out of the Nazi/Hitler playbook down to the Z = Swastika symbols and the ' we are only invading to protect Russian speakers from the bad Ukranians''. Austria anyone? Or the Sudetenland with German forces pushing into that region to 'protect German ethnic speakers'. It's all there. Putin is doubling down on failure and when the Russian people find out the real cost of this war in human lives some one will pay a very heavy price. There is a reason why speaking the truth about this war in Russia will get you 15 years in jail, it's already happening. I just hope the Russian people wake up before it's too late and realize it can not win the war in Ukraine it is now impossible. Small victories such as Bakhmut, if it can even be called that, is not an indicator of the future path of Putins war. It is only going to lead to the complete ruin and disintegration of the Russian Federation. There are many towns like Bakhmut and with over 1 million men under arms, supplied by the West, Russia will need to mobilize at least 3 million men to stand even the remotest chance of victory in Ukraine. Meanwhile, the sanctions against Russia will never end and will only get worse. Eventually, Russia will become nothing but a colony of China. They are already starting to rename Eastern parts of Russia to their old Chinese names. I wonder why that is? I would be very careful gloating over this pyhrric victory.

  668.  @John-hu9qg  Ukraine is still fighting on the Southern front and it is Russia that is on the defensive there. Don't forget that. Ukraine has not even used up its reserve forces on that front, it still has a sizable reserve force that it was unable to use. But they are waiting. We will see what happens there in the summer when hopefully F-16 fighters enter service. They are on the way. Ukraine has suffered losses on that front but nowhere near the Russian losses, nearly every single crewman has survived in Western donated tanks and IFV, while nearly every single crewman in Russian tanks and IFV has died. It's the Russians suffering major defeats and catastrophic loses right across the fronts. If not for the Mines and reinforced defensive positions the Ukrainians would have wiped out the Russian forces in the South, they are so poor. They have learnt so much and will make good use of those lessons learnt in the summer, while Russians have learnt that they cannot beat the Ukrainians and must stay in defensive positions to survive. As for exports Ukraine is still exporting goods. Russia failed to stop those exports in the Black Sea after Ukraine has effectively neutralized the Russian black sea fleet. They have destroyed the black sea command and most important dry dock at Sevastopol, taken out numerous ships and shown the world Russia has a third world navy. Your talk of 'Polar opposite' is actually typical Russian propaganda, whatever Russians say it's usually the opposite. Russia is finished, the economic collapse has already begun, there is a small increase on paper because of the military budget but its dead money and will only hasten the collapse of the Russian Federation. Good luck you're going to need it.

  803. The last thing Ukraine is suffering from is a shortage of manpower. They have 1 million under arms because they mobilized from the very start of the war. They have the option of mobilizing another 1 million if needed. It is a shortage of equipment for them that has been the limiting factor. The allies have been very slow in arming Ukraine and basically, Ukraine has been fighting with 1 arm behind its back. This did not stop them from retaking most of the occupied territory taken by Russia since Feb 2022. The next counter-offensive is going to be very different. While 2nd tier troops man the trenches keeping the Russian hordes back, the elite western-trained and equipped forces are conserving their manpower, building up their strength for battles that will destroy the Russian mobilized civilians' Army in the field. The troops manning the trenches have nearly done their job, inflicted massive casualties and equipment losses on the Russians who have used mass infantry attacks from the very start that's why Russian casualties have been at least 3 or 4 times the Ukrainian casualties. All things being equal Russia mobilized against Ukranian mobilized who do you think is suffering the most casualties? It's the attackers. It's just plain, common sense. It does not matter that Ukrainian soldiers are getting limited training because the same applies to the Russians. But all the Ukrainians need to do is stick their mgs and rifles out of a bunker or Trench and kill the attacking Russians, who really do need the combined arms training to defeat the Ukranian defensive positions but are not even getting the training or basic equipment they need for coordinated assaults. That's why Russia is using mercenaries, and most of them have now been eliminated. Most of the VDV has also been eliminated. The Russian rapists are finished. You will see very soon what happens to murderers and rapists led by a wanted criminal and ruled by a corrupt elite who sends all its children and families to live in the West while they mobilize all the minorities for the meat grinder. I say to Russians you better hope that Ukraine wins this war otherwise you will all be enslaved for the rest of your lives.

  869.  @lintrichards6007  Stop talking complete crap your not talking to a Russian Zombie here. The 40-mile/km convoy of tanks and armored fighting vehicles aimed directly at Kyiv was there to capture that capital. It was the supposed cream of the Russian professional army and it thought it could take Ukraine in 3 days. It got its arse kicked, pure and simple. Your best VDV forces at Hostomol airport were destroyed by part-time Ukranian defenders. Kadyrov's forces sent into The capital to kill/capture the Ukranian government were destroyed and wiped out. They were useless. They thought Ukraine was just going to give up, some of those invaders had even brought their Dress uniforms for the victory march through Kyiv, they found them in some of the captured/destroyed vehicles. The only advantage Russia has in this war is more artillery, otherwise, Ukraine forces would be in Moscow now. But it's failed, you can't win a full-scale war with just artillery you need good troops but the Russian professional army has been destroyed, it's now the Russian Amateur army. What makes you think this mobilized amateur army is going to do any better than the professional one that was destroyed in the first 6 months of the War? As for Nato wanting to destroy Russia, what a load of crap. Nobody in the West is even interested in Russia it's not worth any ones brain cells to even think about it except for buying oil and gas and the West got a good price off Russia for those resources everybody was happy. Putin has destroyed Russia for generations to come. Don't worry you will soon understand the extent of his misjudgments.

  950. The only fascists here are Putin, his surrounding elite and the invading Russian troops. There are NO Nazis in Ukraine. Zelensky was elected by 70 percent of the population in a free and fair election with independent monitors from all over the world. Russia has just had the biggest SHAM election in Russian history. No opposition, they are all dead, in jail or exiled. And no independent monitors. Putin is the illegitimate usurper of the Russian Federation. It's a fake, sham government with no legitimacy and Putin wants to 'Denazify' Ukraine? What a joke. Ukraine is a country were nationalists got less than 2 percent in the last election and don't have a single representative in the Ukranian government. Your entire comment above is just a load of Russian propaganda, in fact let's be honest its rubbish. Your arrogance leaks out all over your comments. Ukraine has destroyed Russia for over 2 years. The only reason the fascist invading forces has taken a very small town Avdivka (don't worry there's another 130 like that to go) is because of Ammo shortages but again don't worry in the next few months that will be rectified there's plenty of ammo deliveries on the immediate horizon. The Ukrainians have held the 2nd army in the world for over 2 years with bits and pieces of left over weapons from the West, just think what's going to happen when the real stuff starts getting delivered? And it's coming. Russia has woken the sleeping giant that is the West. Russia is finished. It cannot win in Ukraine, it's impossible. Putin is finished and the collapse of the Russian Federation is a real possibility over the next couple of years. Putin has destroyed Russia, it is going down as they say, and unfortunately, he will take the Russian people down with him.

  995. Bahkmut has been a trap: For the Russians. Yes, the Ukrainians have lost troops and equipment but you fail to explain that most analysts give the Losses as 7 Russians killed and wounded to 1 Ukranian killed or wounded. Not only have Russian forces been getting massacred trying to take Bakhmut but the high casualty figures are also down to the very poor Russian battlefield triage and evac/medical treatment. Ukrainians have much better survival and recovery rates. You also forget that Bahkmut has been basically defended for over 7 months with Home guard, territorial defense forces, and Border forces. They have been so successful in their mission and that has been to hold on while the elite forces of the Ukrainian army are trained and equipped for an offensive that will most probably decide the outcome of this war. The offensive is coming and look at what happened last year when Ukraine counter-attacked and that was with far less equipment and troops than they have now and yet they still inflicted major, strategic defeats on Russian forces unlike this possible small tactical offensive against Bakhmut which will not decide anything. The only thing maybe a little Ukranian pride but it will make no difference to the overall strategic situation of Putins War. But the Russian casualties will. Also, you pointed out the trouble Ukraine was having crossing the muddy fields and roads, well in order for the Russians to advance they will have to cross the same muddy fields and roads, we shall see what happens then.

1005.  @Kayzef2003  I have just told you read my comment properly. The Ukrainians are calling up to 1 million reservists. Fact. They will be armed with NATO standard weapons. Fact. The main forces of the Ukrainian military are in defensive positions. They will have much fewer casualties than the attacking Russians who must attack. And every time they attack they lose very large numbers of Troops and equipment. Yes, Ukraine is losing troops but far fewer than Russia. These losses will soon be made up by Ukrainian reservists who are training while the Ukrainian main forces keep the Russians back. Ukraine will get stronger with every passing day while Russia will eventually be bled dry. It took 10 years for the Taliban to defeat The Soviet Union in Afghanistan and the USSR was much more powerful than the Russian Federation. Russia has lost 15 thousand troops in 3 months in Ukraine, what do you think is going to happen to Russia in another 3 months? Even if they take the Donbas do you think that will be the end of this war? Of course not, Ukraine will not stop fighting with or without the support of NATO. Russia will have no choice but to try and take all of Ukraine including the capital which will be impossible for them but if Russia goes on the defensive that just gives the Ukrainians more time to build up a powerful military to take back captured territory. Russia is now in the position of being between a rock and hard place. Putin has backed himself into a corner. Don't you understand Russia can not win this war? Putin will become very desperate and carries the Launch Codes with him everywhere he goes. We are all in grave danger because of the Nationalistic government of Putin's Russia that talks about destroying the world with nukes nearly every single day.

1006.  @markstewart5822  Russia is going to lose this war big time. In a way, its already lost. Putin thought he was going to win within 3 to 4 days, we are now going into our 4 months. Russia has lost 1/3 of its military forces, which is completely unsustainable. Within 3 months there will no longer be a viable Russian Army in Ukraine. The only system enabling Russia to move forward is its advantage in long-range weapon systems. This will soon be taken away when Multiple rocket systems and more heavy weapons arrive especially from America. Ukrainian troops have outclassed Russian troops from day one so once Russian artillery is nullified it's going to be bad for Russia. Putin can not declare total mobilization, its politically impossible because according to him it's not a war it's just a ' special operation' and the same goes for placing the economy into a total state of war. This would just mean the collapse of the Russian economy would occur much faster. The Russian economy is smaller than Italys or the state of Texas @ 1.5 Trillion GDP. Its costing Russia up to 20 billion per day to fight this war. Russias economy can not sustain this conflict. Meanwhile Ukraine is fully mobilizing its country and society for total war and it can afford to do this because it's backed by the 50 trillion GDP of the west. It's not faulty analysis just facts. What is Putin going to do when/if he captures the Donbas? His forces have been decimated, he can't hold it, he physically does not have the troops or the logistics. When this first started I, like everybody else, thought it would all be over in a couple of days but Russia has been proven to be a paper tiger. If Russia carries on with this invasion I seriously think it is putting its existence in jeopardy. I have no doubt Ukraine will take back every single piece of occupied territory even the Crimea, and I would not be getting excited over the prospect of Russia taking over all of the Donbas. That will just bleed Russia dry especially when Ukraine is fully mobilised and armed to the teeth with modern weapons. Sorry but its bad news for Russia.

1030.  @johnadam2885  Look it up yourself. There were no military units next to the theatre. It was clearly marked. There were a thousand women and children in that theatre, clearly marked. They were murdered in cold blood. Putin wanted NATO to go back to pre-1997 levels that's not just a simple security guarantee, thats asking countries such as Poland to renounce NATO membership. What a joke. Tell me this if Ukraine was a member of NATO would Russia have attacked them? The simple answer is NO. Why should independent NATO countries leave themselves open to a fascist, hostile Russia? Ukraine is the proof. There is no justification for Russia's actions. All this talk of de-Nazification and saving the Russian speakers is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard its nothing but propaganda for an imperialist land grab, nothing more you, should be ashamed supporting Putin. Prior to Putin's invasion, there were 4000 NATO troops stationed in the East in defensive positions. How was that ever a threat to Russia? In the next 12 months, there will be 330, 000 troops stationed in the EAST with Sweden and Finland joining very soon, directly because of the invasion of Ukraine. The death and destruction caused to Ukraine is a crime against humanity. Russia will pay a very heavy price for what they have done. And the sad thing about it is that the true number of murdered Ukranians is most probably much higher than the world realizes. I think when this war is over and Ukraine is liberated. The true scale of Russian atrocities is going to shock the world. I just hope that the Rusian descent into evil can be stopped. I used to think the Russian people would stop Putin but now I am thinking maybe they are the problem and really do support him. If that's the case Russia really is doomed.

1168.  @Konstantine_799  Your entire comment is pure BS. obviously molded by Russian propaganda. Look at the facts all around you, open your eyes. Lets see how many times Russia has FAILED. Russia has been attacking Ukraine for nearly 2 years = Fail It's fighting against a country a third its size and still can't beat them = fail Ukraine has been getting the minimum equipment for its defense, no aircraft and no long-range missiles and it's still winning = Fail Russia attacked, without justification, Ukraine that's why they are joining NATO, so Putin has enlarged NATO =Fail Every country in Europe is joining NATO alliance because nobody trusts Russia = fail. Russia has proved its a paper tiger and only attacks small defenseless countries and if they are not in NATO they have territory annexed, so the invasion has strengthened the unity and cooperation of NATO= FAIL The West has been reducing its armed forces for decades in an effort to maintain peace, but Russia's invasion is going to be the direct reason why NATO is increasing its forces by 300,000 on the front lines of Eastern Europe and massive increases in Western states' military spending. = Fail If Russia was to engage with the West in a conventional conflict tomorrow it would be defeated in 2 weeks. The Russian army is worse than the Iraqi army in the last gulf war. Russia's economy is collapsing= Fail The Ruble is at an all-time low and oil and gas sales have more than halved. I could go on but I suggest you get off your high horse get back to reality oh and if you live in Russia little bit of advice get your money out of any Russian banks. Thank me later.

1256.  @boxy1375  Ok Ivan. The Russians have murdered 20 thousand citizens in Mariupol. Do you honestly believe the survivors are Pro-Russian? You're deluded. The Russians completely destroyed the entire city, in just one incident they murdered 600 women and children in the Mariupol Theatre, innocent civilians taking shelter in the basement. Just because they speak Russian does not mean they are pro-Russian, during the 1991 independence referendum 90 plus percent of Ukraine voted for independence and that included Crimea and Donbas. No one in any Ukraine government has ever, ever, ever suggested ethnically cleansing 9 million ethnic Russians because, guess what? they are not Russian they are Ukrainian. Get it through your zombie brain just because some Ukrainians speak Russian it does not mean they ARE Russian. Do you understand? There was NO coup. There was a popular uprising. By the majority of Ukranian citizens when Yanukovich went back on his promises of closer integration with the West. Nato did not sponsor any coup. STOP lying. It was NOT replaced by an illegitimate government, it was replaced by Legitimate, democratically elected representatives, Zelensky was voted into power with 70 plus percent of the vote. There are no fake elections in Ukraine unlike the corrupt, fake reelection of Putin. Do you understand? The war erupted in 2014 because Putin and special Russian forces invaded the Donbas and annexed Crimea. An artificial rebellion led by Russian officers was armed and financed by illegal Russian forces. Putin committed an illegal, disgraceful invasion of the whole of Ukraine in 2022, it escalated only because Putin thought he was going to annex the whole of Ukraine in a week. It was nothing to do with the Ukrainians. It was completely unprovoked. The only people talking about WW3 are Bots such as yourself and the corrupt, illegal government of Russia. Why is the Putin government going to Nuke the West, YAWN zzzzz, when his wives and multiple children all live in the West? and the children and families of the corrupt elite, such as Peskov, Lavrov, Medvedev etc all live, play and are educated in the big bad West? You won't find any of the elites' children on the front lines in Ukraine, they are too busy partying in London, Paris and Newyork. Yesterday a US fighter crashed, that was the same day 1500 Russians died on the front line and hundreds of Tanks and IFV were destroyed by the Ukrainians. Now when someone looks at your propaganda comments, they will see the truth in my comments and dismiss your BS. See Ya.

1297.  @uuespces  Europe gets 38 percent of its energy from renewables. ( UK= 43 percent). These figures are with cheap Russian Oil and Gas and are pretty big figures considering. Since the invasion Russia is no longer a reliable energy partner. Europe will now go all out in developing renewable sources of energy. The figures your stating were before the invasion, things have changed now and we are living in a new world. It's most probably the best thing that's ever happened in relation to the climate and sustainable energy. We can now seriously move away from GAS, Oil and coal. The western investment in renewables from now on will be in the multi-billions. All you have done is point out the weakness of each Renewable source of Energy, that's why a basket of different sources are used to compensate for each weakness. With a wide spread of diverse sources of renewable energy, each individual weakness will not matter. The Russian economy is based on resources which the west will stop buying within the year if not sooner. China and India will buy all the Gas and Oil Russia can provide them with but at prices a fraction of that paid by the west. And they will always be open to blackmail by those countries. Russia will basically become a vassal of China. Not good. Much of eastern Russia once belonged to China, They may want it back one day, and Russia has just given them an eg of using force to get something that does not belong to you, China may decide to use force on Russia. The Russian economy will collapse down to soviet times. 30 years of advancement will reverse very soon. The Russian economy will stagnate so much that you will use Less fuel, not more so that won't save you. Nothing will make up for the loss of western trade. Without western know-how, Russia's oil pipeline and infrastructure will eventually come to a grinding halt anyway. I could go on but I feel sorry for the Russian people who don't really know what's going on because of Putin's propaganda.

1341.  @BojanPeric-kq9et  You are nothing but a Russian apologist. And most probably paid. Ukraine has always been a recognized nation even within the Soviet Union. After it was annexed by the USSR in 1922, it was officially called the Ukranian Soviet Socialist Republic, a clear reference and recognition to its sovereignty as a nation. It was also treated like a vassal state. 6 million people died at the hands of Stalin during the Holodomor, who was the president of the USSR, the fact he was Georgian got nothing to do with anything. There has always been a Ukraine but if we are talking about independence, the modern UN recognized country was formed on 24 August 1991. The Russian Federation was formed on 24th August 1991. So, they are both the same age. Both recognized at the UN. Russia has Zero claim to any part of Ukranian territory and this was recognized in the Budapest Memorandum when the Russians, Uk and USA guaranteed the recognized borders of Ukraine including Crimea. No part of history prior to 1991 gives Russia the right to annex and occupy Ukraine. It's an illegal invasion. The rebel uprising in the Donbas was clearly instigated by Putin and any disagreements with the Central government should and could have been resolved by Ukraine citizens alone, it was only Russian interference and arming of the very few Rebels who mainly consisted of Russian military and special forces that turned a local disagreement into a full-scale war in the East. Anyone who says otherwise is a Liar.

1384. @WaqasAfzali-ls5yi The Russian economy is collapsing. Any figures from May 2022 onwards are suspect and must be taken with a pinch of salt. Russia wont even admit the Special operation is a full scale war and invasion, so why trust any figures coming out Putin's dictatorship? Russia's oil and Gas revenue is 70 percent down since 2021. Every month Russia is showing a budget deficit which has to be filled by the central bank and its wealth fund. The Rouble is collapsing even after interest rate rises. The Sovereign Wealth Fund is nearly exhausted with maybe 6- 12 months' worth of funds left to prop up the economy. Russia will not be able to borrow on the world markets and nobody is interested in investing in Russia, even China and India are staying clear. Military spending is now about 6 percent which uses valuable resources such as workers that are in short supply through a general lack of manpower, this alone is a major drag on the economy and the other valuable resources used in constructing weapons and machines of war that don't directly contribute to the future growth of the country. Hundreds of thousands of the top professional workers and wealth producers have fled Russia because there is no future there. The inflation figures coming out of Russia are completely false but this will gradually become apparent as prices spiral out of control. Russia is a country waiting to fall upon Putin's sword, he will take everyone down with him, in fact I think he hates the Russian people. By the time this war ends Russia will be no better than North Korea regardless what the world Bank says.

1442.  Анти Наука  Pure propaganda. Russia has been attacking Ukraine for a year and a half and still can't defeat her. In fact, the major strategic victories have all been Ukrainians. These are fundamental facts from which there is no escape. Ukraine has over 1 million mobilized troops, increasingly equipped and trained by the West. Russia does have 500,000 troops in the new Amateur army, now that the Russian professional army has been effectively destroyed by the Ukrainians. It is Russia that has been attacking for most of this illegal invasion. That's why there is no professional army left. Facts don't you just love them. So what makes you think the Russian amateur army is going to do any better than the Russian professional army? Time is against Russia. Russia has been running a deficit for most of the last 6 months and will run out of money before the end of this year. Fact. Even if the Republicans get in they will continue to support Ukraine. This is guaranteed. The Americans and Nato are destroying the military power of Russia without a single official soldier on the ground. It's the best utilization of money in American and European military history. Before Putin's war ends Russia will be one of the weakest military powers in the world let alone no 2, not that they ever were no 2. The West will never stop supporting Ukraine its gone too far now. The vast majority of people who have left Ukraine are women and children so the Russian rapists don't get their hands on them. No one will starve this winter because Ukraine will have destroyed the Russian amateur army and kicked the murderers out of Donbas and Crimea before then. Thats guaranteed. So my prediction for the end of this year is: The defeat of the Russian hordes and the collapse of the Russian economy. In fact it may even break up. And watch China. When Russia is finished as a regional power, China will step in and take back all the land Russia took in the East. Pretty much the same as Russia is trying to do illegally in Ukraine. But the difference being China will be justified in taking their Eastern lands back. Good luck with that.

1455.  @marcelkroeze7580  Russia started this war with a full scale invasion. They were trying to take all of Ukraine. They expected Ukraine to fall within a week. It invaded with 150 thousand troops, the cream of the Russian military with another 50 thousand from the Annexed territories. These are simple facts nothing to do with propaganda. So far Russia has suffered 4-5 major strategic defeats. Facts. Ukraine has been fighting this war with limited equipment. Fact. They were taken by surprise when Russia invaded but even unprepared they still inflicted major defeats on Russia. Fact. Russia has had to mobilize 300,000 troops because they have suffered massive losses and basically their professional army has been destroyed. Fact. This is true because we are still fighting a year later. These are all facts that are easily checked. I genuinely think Ukraine will win this conflict, no matter how many casualties Russia is willing to accept. Its Army is basically an amateur army now, its professional army has been decimated. Its economy is under the strictest sanctions ever placed on a country. And if you read enough news feeds you will see that Russia's economy is slowly collapsing. It can not afford to continue this war at current levels of expenditure. It has already lost about 3 million of its brightest and best from the workforce. And any further mobilization will be disastrous for the Russian economy and will only accelerate its collapse. It's not just about the Russian military its also about Russia's very small economy of 1.7 trillion GDP against the West's 50 Trillion GDP. Putin can end this war in an hour but to me, it looks as if he is going all in to win but at the cost of Russia possibly collapsing because the West will not let him win. He is a dead man walking, just does not know it yet.

1488. The Russians were warned weeks ago that a possible attack on concert halls was possible after America intercepted ISIS communications. Putin chose to ignore those warnings. The OMON HQ security forces were 2 miles down the road, only 5 minutes away, why did it take them 90 minutes to get to the concert? There was a police station in the concert hall grounds and yet no police officers attempted to help the concert goers and intercept the gunmen, why? Lukashenko stated yesterday that the gun men were intercepted heading for the border of Belarus in direct contradiction to Putin fantasy that they were heading for a ' safe window' in Ukraine. Why did Putin contradict Lukashenko and get caught out in a deliberate lie? Putin and his cronies are directly accusing America, Uk and Ukraine with direct involvement in the Isis terror attack, you must produce EVIDENCE for such sick claims. Why were the Isis terrorists allowed to exit the concert hall when normally the OMAN security forces are instantly out in force if it's a little old lady holding up a blank piece of paper or a Navalny supporter placing flowers on his grave and shrine? Even the FSB are disgusted at Putin and his inner circle trying to place the blame on the West and Ukraine, how can they fight against the real enemy and terrorists if Putin and his cronies won't even admit who carried out the Attack? May the people who died in the Concert Hall rest in peace and also the thousands of innocent Ukrainians who have been murdered in their own homes by missiles and bombs by Russian military forces, acts of crimes against humanity that are committed every single day without respite. Thoughts go immediately to the Donetsk Academic Regional Drama Theatre in Mariupol which was bombed by Russian aircraft even though ' Children' had been written in 4-foot letters outside the theatre. Up to 600 women and children were killed in the strike. (Associated Press). The OSCE has classified the attack as a war crime with Amnesty International also independently classifying it as a Crime. Two 500-kilogram bombs were used to destroy the theatre.

1490.  @rogerbunn1678  It is only Russian artillery that has kept the Russian military in this war but we are approaching a point where the Ukrainians are reaching parity through precision. Without the artillery advantage, Russia has lost this war. You are correct about the Russian army no longer being the same today as it was when it first entered Ukraine. It is no longer the Russian professional army because that has been decimated in the first 12 months of the War. It is now the Russian Amateur Army. What makes you think the Amateur army is going to fare any better than the now largely destroyed professional army? Plus don't forget the Ukrainian army at the start of this invasion was a lot weaker than it is now, and it still defeated the Russians outside Kyiv. It decimated the VDV forces at Hostomol and largely destroyed the 40-mile convoy that ran out of fuel and logistics on its way to a glorious victory..... The truth of my statement lies in the fact that Putin had to mobilize another 350,000 troops even though he knew it would be unpopular he had no choice or the war would have been lost last year. But these mobilized troops are not trained and have little equipment but are ok sitting in trenches. The truth of my statement lies in the fact that this war is nearly 2 years old and Russia is still struggling against a country a third its size and Ukraine is even going on the counter-offensive. Ukraine now has more tanks than it started the war with. Yes, it does have losses but they are immediately replaced by the Americans. 10 Bradlys lost? 20 replace them in the next aid package. Ukrainian air defense now shoots down at least 90 percent of Russian missile and Shaeed Drone attacks. No system is 100 percent effective but they are certainly approaching that figure, they also have more Anti-air defenses being delivered by the day. The Ukranian air force is still active and launching attacks against the Russians on a daily basis and F-16 Jets will be delivered before Xmas from the looks of things. You talk about the different weapons systems, well that's typical NATO setup, there are 32 different countries all using different equipment and talking different languages but it is still the number 1 fighting force in the world and very effective, if what you say is true about using so many different systems then no multinational force would function. Ukraine has the advantage of using different systems but speaking the same language. Do you see? At the end of the day with the right tools a mechanic, engineer, or technician can fix anything. Maintenance is the least of their worries. Ukraine has every chance of winning this conflict. And if I was a etting man my money would definitely be on Ukraine to win. Bro.

1491.  @mrobocop1666  Yes it's reported in Western media, the truth about the real situation in Ukraine, thanks for admitting that the Western press tells the truth. Guess what happens then? Those problems are corrected because Ukraine is backed up by the entire West, 50 trillion GDP against Russias 1.6 trillion GDP. Do you see? Russia does have an advantage in artillery but its army is complete crap worse than Iraq's in the gulf war when the Americans destroyed the Russian-equipped Iraqi army, at the time 3rd largest in the world, in 1 week. Russia thought it could do the same to Ukraine but we all know how that turned out. You contradict yourself as you speak when you tell us Russia has only had 1 mobilization in nearly 2 years of war. That's right 2 years of war against Ukraine. The 2nd army in the world has been fighting for nearly 2 years against a country a third its size and its Ukraine that's on the counter-offensive. Do you understand what your admitting without realizing it? Ukraine had 1 major mobilization at the very start of the war producing a 1 million-man army. It has never been able to mobilise more because it did not have the weapons to arm them. It now has the option of mobilizing another 1 million men, so just consider that for one moment. Russia did not mobilize at the start of the war because it thought its 250 thousand professional military was more than enough to defeat Ukraine in less than a week but the opposite happened, it got defeated. Comprehensively. And now the Russian Amateur Army is going to be defeated just like the Russian Professional Army. It's not the equipment, it's the men using that equipment, and the Russians just don't cut the mustard. They don't even know why they are in Ukraine, they have not got a clue why they are there. While the Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom, families, and land. They can't give in or retreat because they have nowhere to go, think about that for 1 second and then reconsider your opinion that Russia is going to win an unjustifiable war against a people that are fighting for their very existence as an independent nation. Even if by some miracle Russia turns this war around, welcome to 40 years of Western-backed insurgency that will make the Russian occupation of Afghanistan look like a day at the beach. Do you see?

1498. Why all this praise for Wagner? A group of mercenaries responsible for many crimes against humanity everywhere they go. Wagner's achievements in Bakhmut were laid on the bones of 35 thousand prisoners sacrificed for every foot of ground taken. Once they ran out of prisoners, and core fighters from the group started to die, they had no choice but to retreat from Bakhmut or be destroyed completely. No more cannon fodder=no more Wagner. Prighozin and the regular army sacrificed up to 100,000 dead and wounded to take a nonstrategic, very small town. How can that be classed as a victory? And let's be honest it's still being fought over now and looks increasingly likely that Ukranian forces are going to surround and cut off the troops that have been caught in that trap. You know the very same Ukranian army that was supposedly taking 7 to 1 casualties when in reality for most of the battle they destroyed most of the Eastern Russian army and just retreated when the overwhelming meat troops pushed forward. Wagner has basically fled the battlefield because they know it's all going to end in failure. Rather than praise and glorification, they should be vilified as the murderers and rapists they are in reality. In fact, a private military company doing all the work that state forces should be doing just indicates how low the actual Russian state has fallen. Wagner and the other private military armies, even Gazprom have got one, will soon be fighting over the rotten carcass that was once a country of musicians, artists, a ballet that was out of this world, astronomers, and scientists up there with the best, Putin has created a country rotten to the core, that glorifies the death and destruction of its neighbors under false pretext. Look at the deliberate destruction of the Dam in Kherson, a war crime if there ever was one. Actions like that and the cultivation and praise of groups like Wagner will lead to a moral corruption that will take many generations to wash away if Russia ever can. Sad.

1657. Brilliant Analysis? Erm, i don't think so. The entire argument above is a strawman. It's not the Ukrainians that have to prove anything here. They are fighting against the so-called 2nd army in the world and are actually beating them to a standstill. The fact that the Ukrainians are even attempting to counter attack is unprecedented. They have no air superiority in the south. The tanks and vehicles given to Ukraine are obsolete models taken from Western storage. They have no long-range missiles. And yet 2 years after the Russian invasion Ukraine are inflicting massive casualties on Russian forces and destroying large quantities of Equipment every single day. 360,000 Russians are either dead or wounded and it looks as if the Russian winter offensive has been defeated. In fact, the Ukrainians have still not used the bulk of their Western equipment in the South. They have actually lost very few Western tanks and armored vehicles, the ones they did lose at the start of the Southern offensive have been repaired or replaced. Soon the Ukrainians will have another 500,000 troops on the battlefield. Defending their country, families and homes, they know what they are fighting for. What are Russians fighting for in Ukraine? They don't know. Russians are dying by the thousands every week for Putin so that he can put his feet up in his 1.2-billion-dollar palace while his family, and other members of his government families, can work, play, make money and get educated in the big, bad West. You won't find any of their families fighting on the front line in Ukraine, just the idiots full of propaganda brought up on lies. Even Solovyov the main Russian propagandist, his son works as a male model in London. The hypocrisy of the Russians is breathtaking but reality will come home this year as the Russian economy starts collapsing and the causality rate starts touching 500,000. Russia is finished, you just don't realize it yet but you will.

1671.  @alexanderbarkman7832  Your comments are total crap. Russia currently holds about 18 percent of Ukrainian territory. Ukraine has reclaimed 54 percent of the territory Russia captured since the start of the invasion. This includes Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Izium, and Kherson. Russia had 50 Smerch at the beginning of the war but some may have been destroyed. Its accuracy is abysmal with each salvo of rockets having no more than 0.21 percent of the rocket firing range. Because of this, it has been used in indiscriminate strikes on civilian locations, you know crimes against humanity for which Russia will pay. So this means the Smerch is basically useless except as a terror weapon. Now the Himars can strike a target with 5 to 10 meters. And those 20 Himars enable the Ukrainians to retake the capital of Kherson, destroy logistic centers, airfields, command centers, troop concentrations, Wagner headquarters, and in fact nearly killed the General of the Army of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu. It wounded him and killed many of his entourage visiting a command base. The Ukrainians did lose Tanks and other equipment but captured so much Russian heavy armor and armored vehicles it was able to outfit 2-3 extra battalions. Overall we must thank Russia for being the biggest supplier of heavy weaponry to Ukraine. The economies of the West are doing ok. Nobody is dying of the cold and the government is making sure everybody is able to pay their wintertime bills. We have been through much worse and still live like kings compared to the average Russian. I hope you have learned something today please feel free to print more crap so I can correct you.

1709. How can Russia sustain total war against Ukraine and the west? I don't understand the scaremongering? Russia can declare war against Ukraine but how is it going to afford this war? It has a GDP of less than 1.5 trillion. The war is costing Russia 20 billion a day. The west collectively has something like 50 trillion. It is under the greatest sanctions any country has ever faced and they have only just started. When a total Oil and Gas embargo kicks in the Russian economy will completely collapse. Putin is a dead man walking. Do you honestly believe that all these multi-billionaires and millionaires in the security services are going to let Putin destroy everything they have? Do you honestly think that they are going to reduce their world to a radioactive wasteland for a dream of a resurrected soviet union that can never be realized? These people know the truth about what's really happening because they create the propaganda used to fool the Russian people. They know they have failed and that to go any further risks everything they have. I guarantee Putin will not declare war on Ukraine or order a full mobilization of the Russian nation on May the 9th. He will declare victory and try to consolidate the territory he has now. Ukraine will be under immense pressure to come to a deal purely because its economy will grind to a complete halt otherwise. Russia will eventually be forced to relinquish some of its gains but will most probably keep the Donbas and Crimea. Kherson is a problem child and I cant see Russia being able to hold on to it.

1724. Russia has lost upto 20 thousand troops killed and wounded in the battles for Soledar and Bakhmut. Ukraine has inflicted major casualties on Russian attackers for one very small town. They threw everything they had. Mercenaries, paratroopers, massive amounts of Artillery, and armored vehicles. The Russians are exhausted for very little gain. It is nothing but a political victory so Russia can zombify the Russian people with more nonsense about great success. It is all to no avail. Russia can not win this war. To occupy Ukraine they will need 3 million troops on the ground. In Afghanistan, the soviet union killed 1 million people, fought for 10 years, and still lost. The Soviet Union was bigger economically and had a much bigger military than the Russian Federation but it still failed, the question is: what makes people think the Russian Federation is going to succeed in Ukraine? Russia is under the greatest sanctions ever placed on a single country, much bigger than the sanctions placed on the soviet union when it went into Afghanistan. It is up against the West which has a combined 50 trillion GDP against Russia's tiny GDP of 1.6 trillion. Right there with those figures, Russia has lost this war. The sanctions will eventually destroy Russia as we now know it, there is no doubt about that. The collapse of the Russian economy is coming. Further Mobilisation will be the final nail in the Russian economic coffin. I million fled at the beginning of the War another 1 million anti-mobilization individuals also fled. 500,000 thousand have also been taken out of the economy and placed into the military. If another mobilization is called that will be another 500,000. It will accelerate the collapse of the Russian Federation. The West is starting to take the gloves off. Up to now its been sending bits and pieces of leftover equipment and with just 16 HIMARS Ukraine took back Kherson, and defeated the Russians at Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Luhanske. Imagine what Ukraine is going to do when it starts getting serious weapons? It's coming. Tanks, Jets, Long range missiles, more Artillery, there's even a rumor Apache helicopter gunships are going to be given to the Ukrainians if Russia mobilizes more troops. Don't you understand the West can not let Russia win? If France and Great Britain had stopped Germany in 1938/9 before it was fully mobilized maybe 30 million people would not have died. The same principle is here. Russia wins the world is going to be a much more dangerous place. And let's be honest who wants to really live under the Russian system of corruption and blatant disregard for the civil rule of Law. These little victories in very small, minor towns are sucking the lifeblood of the Russian military. Ukraine casualties are one-tenth of Russian casualties, for every 100 Ukrainians killed and wounded Russia loses 600 to 700. That is why Ukraine will not defend anywhere to the bitter end. They don't have to. Inflict massive casualties and if needed, retreat. Russia has not won a single strategic victory in nearly 12 months. Read that again they have not won anything of importance since their initial invasion when Ukraine was not fully mobilized or even ready. On the other hand, Ukraine has inflicted at least half a dozen major strategic defeats on the 2nd Army in the world. It is nearly a year and Ukraine is still not beaten and in fact, looks as if it may win. If it gets the weapons it needs Russia is truly finished as even a regional power. When that happens watch what your 'friend' China does in the far East. Watch your back. It's easy to get stabbed in it, same way as Russia stabbed Ukraine in the back after the Budapest agreement. Just saying.

1806.  @Polygon-yug-9581  The facts speak for themselves. The war has been going on for 6 months. Russia attempted to take Kyiv in the first couple of days of the invasion and failed. They were forced to retreat. That's not bollocks but the truth. The Russians then concentrated the bulk of their Military on the Eastern front and 6 months later are still fighting there. Why? Because they are suffering massive losses with every attack. That's not bollocks but the truth. Because if it was a lie Russia would have rolled over the Ukrainian defenders in a week. The fact that they are still attacking is proof Russia is struggling. Indications that Russian casualty figures are true are shown in Russian attempted recruitment from Prisons. The raising of the age limit to over 50 for new recruits into the Army and the use of the private Wagner force to bolster and replace losses on the frontlines. All good circumstantial evidence that Russian casualties are very high and can not be classed as bollocks. The Russian airforce has still not gained air superiority over Ukraine indicating a high loss rate and strong Ukrainian air defenses. That's not bollocks but the truth. The appearance of T-62 tanks, over 50 years old on the front lines, indicates a major loss of modern tanks. Why use ancient tanks if you have up-to-date modern tanks available? This is circumstantial evidence that Russian tank armies have suffered very heavy losses, no other explanation. Overall it looks as if most of the Information coming out of Ukraine is basically true and not Rubbish. Obviously misinformation is coming out but everything I placed in my comment is the bare bones of the situation and cant really be argued against if you look at many sources of news both Russian and the West.

1823. At the beginning of this conflict, Ukraine was not mobilized. Support from the West was at a minimum. It destroyed the Russian professional army within 4 months. That's right, a weak country a third the size of mighty Russia wiped out the elite 1st guard's tank army and paratroop battle groups of the Russian Federation. What makes you think that a demoralized professional army reinforced by a few hundred thousand ill-equipped, ill-trained drunks, that don't even know why they are being sent there, to fight in a war for a man who lives in a 1.4 billion dollar palace with gold toilet brushes, is going to do any better? The Ukrainian military is now mobilized with up to 1 million men under arms. They now have billions of dollars of modern equipment flowing into the country every single day. The Ukrainians have access to near real-time intelligence that can now be utilized to its full potential with the introduction of American and western high-precision weapons and munitions. They have more men, tanks, artillery, and equipment than they started with. We are now 8 months into this war and Russia has still not achieved any of its main strategic objectives. The best Russia can now hope for, and this is the best-case scenario, is a stalemate and a never-ending conflict. We all know how that ended in Afghanistan with the fall of the Soviet Union. The same thing is going to happen here. The Russian Federation is a regional power nothing like the Soviet Union. It is far weaker and this war has proved it. Mass mobilization may have worked in the 2nd world war but we are talking a whole new ball game now. It is destined to complete failure and here I don't say Ukraine will win militarily (although it is looking bad for Russia) Russia will never attain its objectives. Contrary to appearances the Russian economy is in very poor shape. Imports have halved. Russian companies can not import critical items such as semiconductor chips, Auto and plane parts to name a few. The lack of Key components has meant industrial activity in Russia has come to a standstill. Russian average income has already fallen to its lowest level in 20 years. Europe is banning most oil imports from December, this is Russia's last cash cow and exports to India and China will not make up for this loss. Putin has devastated the Russian economy in his pursuit of this war and it really is only a matter of time before the effects hit badly. You talk about Russian mobilization with great excitement, while the top Russian economist Vladislav Inozemtsev warned it would have '' truly catastrophic consequences'' for the Russian economy. He also warned the Russian economy could potentially '' die by winter'' because of the war. Putin is destroying the future of Russia with this illegal land grab. Putin and Lavrov are already begging for negotiations because they know, even by some miracle, they win this war, the west will never trust them again and the sanctions will never be stopped. I can never see Russia recovering from this. Mobilization will just increase the speed of the Russian collapse.

1908.  @АлексейЛукьянов-ц6ц  Ok I will take the bait. Yes, Russia is a black hole but not in the sense you indicate. Putin and his corrupt elite have turned Russia into a pure pit of darkness and hate. In the last few days, Russia has launched Kamikaze drones and missiles at civilian buildings, killed many civilians in their own homes, and maimed women and children. Today they destroyed a Red Cross warehouse. They murdered tens of thousands of people in Mariupol including deliberately murdering 600 women and children in the theatre there, even though it was clearly marked with the words CHILDREN. I know everything I need to know about Russia because its actions speak louder than the propaganda its spouts every day. You say you're cultured? You're arrogant. The Nazi elite in Germany were Lawyers, professors, Doctors, and Teachers. They went to the theatre, listen to opera, read books, collected art, and thought of themselves as above the rest of the world. But they murdered millions of people in the worst way possible. Exactly the same way Putin and his regime invaded Ukraine and started to genocide its population under completely false pretenses. Putin is now a wanted war criminal for kidnapping Ukrainian children, there is enough evidence to put him away for life. Yes, things have gone too far, Russia has invaded a sovereign nation and is murdering its people and interfering in its business. I don't think it's a joke and neither do the hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and Russians who have died over the last 14 months. Yesterday the brave woman journalist Maria Ponomarenko was hauled before a kangaroo, illegal court, and sentenced to 6 years in a penal colony for reporting on Russia's bombing of Ukraine. I could give you a list of innocent people murdered, sent to jail, or exiled for speaking the truth but if you're so well read you will know who they are. That's the reality of Russia today. Even Russian children are being taught how to fire machine guns. Russia today is becoming a pure fascist state worse than the Soviet Union. You are just a bullshiter, apologizing for Putin and his regime and blaming the West for every single thing that's wrong with Russian society. You can not justify Putin's actions, he is destroying Russia both Morally and economically. Wake up before it's too late, otherwise, Russia will become nothing but a giant-sized North Korea.

1961.  @pzubets  Bakhmut has been falling for 8 months. Some prediction. Yes the Ukrainians are losing troops no one ever said they weren't but Russia are losing more at a rate of at least 3 to 1. This has just been confirmed in the American documents leaked recently. Ignore the Russian photoshopped ones. Massive Wagner losses have also been confirmed by Olga Romanova, the spokeswoman of the main Russian prisoner rights advocate group. She stated 40 thousand Prisoners were recruited by Wagner. 35 thousand have been killed, wounded, captured, and missing. 5 thousand have returned home. Your Australian friend is 100 percent correct. The core number of Wagner contract killers is about 10 thousand. They have been kept in the rear while Prisoners have been sent forward in Human wave attacks. History legends actually says this in the video but he words it in a formal military fashion to hide what it actually is, cannon fodder attacks. They only move forward after thousands of prisoners have been killed. So the casualties to the core Wagner fighters are most probably pretty low. That has been changing now that they can no longer recruit more prisoners. Wagner is now a very small cog in a mighty Russian machine (LOL) and will suffer casualties to its core fighters. Why do you think Prighozin has been up in arms over the lack of support by the Russian regular army? Because his core army of killers are now doing the fighting and dying. No more cannon fodder left unless the regular Russian military becomes the new Wagner cannon fodder? But my original comments still stand because they are facts, human wave attacks and massive losses. If you look up real facts and analyze them correctly you will find that everything I am commenting about is the truth as far as we can be sure with open-source information. Oh and the mobilization of 300,000 civilians indicates massive casualties and a failing military operation. Facts, don't you love them.

1974. I think Israel will occupy at least 50 percent of Gaza on a permanent basis. They will push the Palestinians to the south of the country opposite the Egyptian Border. And use selective pressure through food, water and fuel blockade to squeeze Hamas. Whenever the political pressure gets too much, they will ease the blockade but return to it selectively to keep the pressure on, from now on Hamas will never be allowed the freedom to operate in Gaza ever again. Hundreds of millions will be put into intelligence and special military operations to erode the Hamas organization in much the same way Isis was defeated. It will never go away but it can certainly be controlled. Israel will never allow what happened on October 7th ever to happen again. The Border will now be within the Gaza enclave. The invasion will carve out a perimeter within the south of Gaza with a heavily armed and fortified border well away from Israeli territory or far enough away so that a infiltration on the scale we saw on October 7th will be extremely hard to do again. And Israel will never leave until the Palestinian people give up on Hamas. Israel will be supported, covertly, by the PLO (who hate Hamas) they will infiltrate into Gaza and help them defeat and undermine the main strength of Hamas in exchange for movement on the political front in their effort to gain a Palestinian homeland. Israel will now be receptive to this because they have no choice. And after what Israel has done and will do to the Gazan civilians they will turn against Hamas and Favour integration with the PLO and the West bank. This is why Israel has been saying the middle East will never be the same again. It is highly like that All the Arab countries are on board with this type of scenario.

2059.  @hendrikvanleeuwen9110  Carry on drinking the cool aid. 1000 thousand troops per day? At that rate, there wouldn't be a Ukrainian army left. Stop throwing make-believe figures in the air. I stick by my figures. At the start of the war, Russia had 200,000 pillagers and rapists ready to invade Ukraine. That is most of the active service front-line troops of the Rabble I mean the Russian Army. 15 thousand have been KIA with about 45 thousand wounded. That 60 thousand Out of action. They needed to be replaced. The only way they can be replaced is by scouring the far east and other poor regions of Russia so i think 85 percent is about right. The wagner group has already been destroyed so we wont take them into consideration. The elites of Moscow and St Petersberg won't be going to the front line that's why Putler has not declared full mobilization, his rule would most probably collapse if he did that. Meanwhile, Ukraine is now under Full mobilization and will have up to 1 million men under arms ready for the push back in the very near future armed to the teeth with Modern Western weapons. The west will not back down on this one too much to lose . I hope Putin stops the export of oil and gas completely the west will suffer a little bit of pain but we will get through it, but Russia full economic collapse. Even the old USSR at the height of the cold war never touched resources to the west they weren't that stupid. I am sorry but Russia is in for a lot of pain take no notice of the Propaganda from Russian TV they are just a bunch of rabid lunatics. You better hope Putler kicks the bucket before Russia totally collapses it's going to happen without a doubt.

2114.  @FD-ub4vl  I can see you're a fascist saying Russia will take back what does not belong to them. But seriously you are talking rubbish. When Russian originally invaded, Ukraine did not have 1 million men under arms, they weren't even mobilized. And yet the Ukrainians destroyed the cream of the Russian forces, pretty easily from all accounts. Now they have 1 million men under arms that's after 8 months of conflict. The Russians have been attacking for 8 months and have still not taken any strategic objectives. The Ukrainian professional army is still intact. and getting bigger and better every day, trained to NATO standards by the west. Why do you think Russia took what amounts to just a few miles of territory in those 8 months? Because the Ukrainians just retreated to prepared defensive positions and inflicted massive casualties on the attacking Russians. Look at the defeats the Russians are taking and it's only just begun. Russia won't last another 6 months tops. By then the economic sanctions will have effectively collapsed the Russian economy. Yes, the west will suffer a small economic downturn but not enough to prevent many years of support to Ukraine. The west will now do everything it can to make sure Putin fails. Because the Russian descent into evil must be stopped. The Ria Novosti in April published a program for genocide, in April, when it published an article where they said '' .....Ukrainian elite must be killed and the Ukrainian population must suffer and be Russified or killed.'' This is no better than Nazi Germany philosophy, a terrorist mentality which the whole world is against. The Ukranian people are fighting for their homes and land, the Russians dont know why they are fighting, just for the money and because they are zombies willing to die for Putin and his 1 billion dollar Palace and its gold toilet brushes. How low have the Russian people fallen?
