  1. I know my family are all Peloponnesian Greeks and what villages my family came from, since I am the first member of my family born in the USA. My mother is from an Arvanite village and my great grandmother spoke Arvanite. If I got a DNA test would I be able to trace any possible distant ancestors in Albania or elsewhere? Historians know there were successive waves of Albanian settlement but the written sources were pauce at the time. Also my dad was a rare ginger(very pale skin and red hair when he had hair) Greek. Would I be to detect if I had partial Viking/Celtic ancestry from when Celts invade Greece over 2000 years ago, or whatever other group that could have settled that brought red hair genes and overly pale skin? I am guessing most Greeks and Albanians use Myheritage?
