  7. I once entered a market and stood by the door struggling to get my backpack off. I couldn't do it because it got tangled with my coat, and I needed one hand for my cane otherwise I'd fall over. I almost wrenched my shoulder trying. Nobody helped - they just stood and stared at me. Then a young man came in the door, saw me, and immediately said, "You need some help with that?" He reached out and pulled the pack off and handed it to me. I was nearly in tears thanking him.
