  1. NO, we didn't add those jobs. We RECOVERED those jobs that were lost in the last couple of months. So we're not up 4 million jobs. We're STILL DOWN 14 million AFTER those 4 million were added back.

  4. No, of course it wasn't preventable. Seriously, that is a really stupid question. All the money in the world isn't going to stop the winds from blowing, or fires from starting. The cut made it harder for the LAFD to respond, but they certainly didn't make this in any way preventable.

  11.  @kafizola5695  I'd believe that if there weren't honest preachers telling their people to stay home. But there are. So I think it's more that the pastors pushing these reopenings are doing it to feed their huge egos - they can't stand not to have that crowd fawning on them.

  14.  @travisrowe7697  Yeah, it's semantics and THAT IS MY POINT. The media is using weasel wording to pretend that jobs have been ADDED, implying those jobs are NEW. They are not. It's a completely dishonest way of presenting the subject - it's basically a lie. These are not new jobs, the economy is WORSE not better, and nobody is helped by this chicanery.
