  2. I don't think that cat was really feral. He got used to the guy way too fast. No truly feral cat would have stayed in that car, either. I think he used to be someone's cat and has been living on his own for a while, and was just terrified at first.

He got used to the guy much too quickly to be a truly feral cat, and no truly feral cat would have stayed in that car, either. This is a cat that knows the value of humans already.
