I can confirm it because I used to be an Amazon seller and I had to quit because the stuff I sold was being flooded out by Chinese sellers. This report is coming out now because this kind of research takes a long time to pull together. It's only nutcases that see some kind of dark conspiracy in the fact that news outlets will wait until they have their report READY FOR RELEASE before releasing it.

  13. Honestly, it's just not a very good idea. If you don't want to cook, what's the point of meal kits? You can just buy a frozen meal, of which there are many excellent choices, or order food for takeout or delivery. If you want to cook, what's the point of meal kits? You can just COOK, with ingredients you choose yourself. Why would I trust some company to pick out what I'm going to cook with? (And yeah, it's cheaper to just cook on your own.)

  21. An obvious way not to fall for this is not to buy anything that ships from China. It'll tell you where the shipment comes from right on the page. Don't buy anything that comes from there. That may not guarantee you won't fall for it, but it'll cut way down on the possibility.
