Fun fact: America only banned all things German after we were attacked by Japan. Up to that moment, we were fine with all of it. Yeah, including the banners and the armbands and the little fight songs. We had our own homegrown goosesteppers; they even had a big rally in Madison Square Garden in New York that got filmed and everything.
