I'm amused by the people insisting how AWFUL it is to "bring up race" as if their reaction itself doesn't mark them as being racist AF. Yes, the images are lovely and surprising. Very nice to see. :)

@phixter Yeah, because "character" can so clearly be judged by a posed glamour shot in a fashion gown. Could you be a little more transparent? They can't hear you up in the peanut gallery.

@Jane D You really don't realize what an ass you sound, do you? Here's a tip: complaining about the very existence of a comment on a subject - not a rule, not a requirement, just a comment - paints a huge sign on your forehead LOOK I'M CONVINCED I'M BEING TARGETED. It's especially counterproductive when the comment is a positive one that in no way targets anybody. If you want to be thought of as decent, then try to refrain from complaining when someone is being nice. Especially when they're being nice to someone ELSE.

@rf5218 There are some black ladies in the photos in the vids. Some people think it's OMG AWFUL that anyone should mention how nice it is to see those pictures.

My head is filling with design ideas. What one could do with a dress like that! Was the lace ever used figuratively, to form deliberate shapes? Or was it always abstract decoration? The possibilities are endless.
