  1. I am of the firm belief that only bad films should ever be remade. Remakes should exist solely to make something better out of something that was crappy. If it's already good, LEAVE IT THE F**K ALONE.

  2. Besides the central fact that Eric is not a superhero. He's a revenant, a ghost that is specifically focused on revenge. He doesn't have "superpowers" - he's DEAD. This whole childish obsession with "superheroes" has swallowed up nearly every kind of storytelling, and it's boring beyond belief. I can't wait for the day when the "superhero" industry collapses under its own weight and we can get back to real storytelling again.
