  1. Hypocrisy means nothing to them. Values and morals and ethics mean nothing to them. They're out to loot the country and get away with as much as they can, and ethics are just trick bombs they throw at the rest of us to get us to stop what WE are doing, but they completely ignore ethics when it comes to their own behavior. They're sociopaths, it's what they do.

  2. "Now"? They NEVER believed in any of that. They use all of that as cover for their criminal behavior. This is not new - the right wing of any era has always been like this. They're out for themselves alone, and don't care who has to be trampled or ruined so long as they get what they want.
