Yo, Edward Furlong was NOT a child film star. He was not an actor at all. That's a lot of why his vocal performance didn't work and had to be redubbed - he flat out didn't know what he was doing.

To be fair, Harlan didn't think of suing Cameron until the guy actually said in an interview that he'd been watching old TV sci-fi episodes while he was in that fever when he said he pictured the story. If he hadn't been stupid enough to actually say that to an interviewer, Harlan might not have considered suing him. But when he basically admitted it like that, well... like the alien said, "Brain and brain, what is brain?"
