The book got reprinted with "1984" as the title, and when the year came and went, everybody heaved a big sigh of relief and decided the danger was over. Big big big mistake.

  35. I'm from L.A. I have seen no huge influx of immigrants here, where so many always ended up. In fact, I've seen fewer people from south of the border than I have in years. I have no idea where those millions of bloodthirsty immigrants are going, but it certainly isn't Southern California.
