The utter, literal INSANITY of this obsession with guns is beyond me. I swear half the people in this country are raving lunatics.

@tneita3166 Seeing as how there's no way to know when someone will be subject to the stresses that snap a mind, a safer guideline would be "NO ONE should have access to guns, period." But of course sanity cannot be allowed to rule the day.

Wrong. The #1 problem with THE UNITED STATES (which is NOT all of America) is too many of us treat the Constitution as a hood ornament rather than an actual set of rules for running the government.

Thank Scalia. He was the a hole who decided that HALF the 2nd Amendment should be ignored - the half that would LIMIT that "right", of course. And no, the intention of the amendment was NEVER to "check federal power". That is idiotic in the extreme. What government in history has ever established a "right" to overthrow it?? It makes no sense at all.
