The real scandal isn't that such idiots think only Mexicans speak Spanish. It's that so many people in this country don't see any point in knowing more than one language. It's bizarre, embarrassing, and sad. It's no wonder this country is in the mess it's in, with so many of its people having no interest at all in being in any way intelligent or having any idea what even exists in the world. It's pathetic and humiliating to have to consider myself as sharing a continent with such yahoos.
