  1. Sorry, but this looks awful.  The original movie had the most convincing effects work I've ever seen.  This, on the other hand, is so blatantly fake looking that all I could do was roll my eyes.  MUCH TOO MUCH reliance on CGI, which is easy to spot and just makes the movie look like a big cartoon.  I guess JP itself will never be topped.  Just as well, I suppose.
