  1. Yes, that's an aspect no one ever brings up. Some folks live in areas where the alternatives are few and far between. It's the entire reason mail-order became a thing in the first place.

  2. They've been mainly a card catalog for me. I look up what I want, then record the information in a spreadsheet so I can look for the item when I need it, wherever I can get it cheapest.

  5. Because way too many people aren't really interested in the good things that happen. They only want to hear about problems. That's why the media concentrates on negative stories - nobody's interested in positive ones.
