Allen Bouchard   But he indulges in the same black/white, fundamentalist view of the world, religious or not.  The same simple-minded "I'M RIGHT AND YOU'RE STUPID" view of things.  You can't argue convincingly against anything with that - all you can do is garner the applause of other monolithically minded lazy thinkers.

Bill Maher can be funny, but Aslan is right - on the subject of religion, he is tiresomely ignorant and has a tendency to knee-jerk opinions that only display his abysmal ignorance of the subject.  He's one of these "new atheists" that give atheism a bad name.  If you're going to argue against something, have some sophistication and willingness to learn about it.  Because "THAT'S JUST STUPID" is no argument against anything.
