  1. In 1993, a movie called "Rain Without Thunder" was released. It was a faux documentary about this very scenario - a future America where women are incarcerated for years for "fetal murder". The movie was called a "screed" and thought ridiculous. Well, it's happening now. Find the film if you can; it's really good. (Jeff Daniels and Betty Buckley are in it.)
