  3. Of course some people are going to refuse to vote for that reason. There's already bitching and grumbling because of the convention. It's not at all unthinkable that a raft of progressives will throw a hissy fit and just refuse to vote, like the last time. Americans have grown much too used to the idea that voting is some kind of personal expression instead of the adult consideration of the NATION'S needs, not our own. But the responsibility that goes with our right to vote is out of fashion - these days it's all about ME ME ME, so if you don't like the candidate, it's fine to just shirk your civic duty! You can't expect an attitude like that to just POOF disappear into thin air, sad to say.
