Listen, I don't mind Female Jedi (since they already have Ahsoka Tano) and I don't mind Black Jedi either (since they already have Mace Windu) as the protagonist All I can say is they need to have good writing and consistency to make people love them. I personally think they should've explored Rey and Finn's backstory more deeper to make audience understand why they need to be likeable. Even Anakin has a tragic backstory to be The Sith Lord.
