  2. Look at Breaking Bad for example. The show only have 5 seasons but it has way better character development than in Season 8 of GOT. We see the journey of Walter White starts to lose his mind and become a greedy drug kingpin for 4 seasons until he took his downfall in last season. We also see how Jesse Pinkman who used to be a rebel teenager who likes consuming drug turns to mature and realize his mentor is going nuts and free to find his own way in the end.
