The A8 can have 500bhp, the new S8 will have to be like 650, if they made a RS8 they would have to start a new segment for "hypersedans" lol.

The thing is Mercedes has always been king of this segment. No one has been able to beat the S Class for sales, and even if the car is much better, it won't matter due to what the S Class established decades ago. Also, the S Class is in no way overpriced. There's a 5k difference between the two cars and for that you get a completely different experience, why is why you should form your own opinion instead of believing someone elses.

Do you daily drive a S Class? I'm a private individual under the age of 60, and have just under 30k miles on my 222 and I'm still loving it. Which technology am I lucky for if it works? Where are the horrendous electronic bugs, and the things which break every other week? Tell me and I'll go have a look and take a video for you. The only place I've seen chauffeur driven S Class' is in London, and other hotspots like Los Angeles. There's more private owned S Class' in London than there are 7 Series and A8s combined. There are 2 7 Series(facelift), and 1 A8 in my residential area, whilst there's 4 S Class' within 2 roads from my home. Where are you getting your statistics from?

Braden McHenry I drive mine nearly everyday. I don't have active body control but I haven't experienced what you claimed at any point except on a one lane carriageway in the early morning.

Braden McHenry Don't understand how you can drive a car once and come to that conclusion, whilst you can go on mbworld and see what people who drive this car everyday think. Half the comments here are reporting issues of the s class but when I ask for evidence, or I offer to go check for them no one says anything lol.
