@davissilvestrs1996 I've already shown you the GT63S beat it when they ran it again on the track, where they said it was better than the M5 CP on the track. It's closer to the 700hp stripped M5 than it is to the M5 CP lol.

@davissilvestrs1996 You say this and then say the M5 CP was quicker in the quarter mile by another publisher, who used different tyres, different conditions etc. You need to stop coming up with these excuses...

@davissilvestrs1996 Also, no one compares track times with same conditions, tires etc. They compare the best times available for the car at the time, you don't see people complaining that the Aventador SVJ, 918 and GT2 RS were on different tyres, were done on different conditions etc. You can't compare two laps in the way you're suggesting, even with the same driver on the same day with the same tyres, the driving lines taken, the confidence of the driver etc will never be the same. The GT63S is currently faster than the M5 CP around the track.

@davissilvestrs1996 Which 'objective automotive publication' does this? Mclaren for example only uses Pirellis and gives their cars to publishers with them. The AC Schnitzer with a professional racing driver, tyres, stripped interior and a tune is less than .90 of a second ahead of the GT63S time compared to the GT63S to M5 CP difference of just under 2 seconds. There's only so much you can contribute to the tyres. BMW could have made the Cup 2s an option if they wanted to like Mercedes has. Being objective, they have to test cars how they are offered by the manufacture.

@davissilvestrs1996 You say Autobild uses the same tyres in head to heads and in the same sentence showed that they don't. 1 second can be gained from anything, tyre temperature, wind, surface temperature etc. On a M2, one second can easily be a little wheelspin which you won't get on 4wd cars. They test cars how they're given, for example Mclaren with Pirellis. Mercedes offers different tyres dependent on wheels etc. For one test they may use the 19" pzeros, the 20" pilot sport 4s or the other 20" cup 2s. They run what they're given. The AC M5 was 700hp(itll obviously be more irl as all german cars) not 650ps, which is 60hp+ more, and they stripped the interior, in total making it hundreds of lbs less than the GT63s.

@davissilvestrs1996 But that still proves head to head races don't use the same tyres. The dealer fit tyres they have, the 19" pzeros wont fit on a 20" wheel. They didn't even want to change the runflats. The AC M5 is 691bhp, you can email them if you want, its also reduced weight, got a spoiler, new springs, and lightweight wheels. Youre also the only one coming up with excuses like tyres. Regardless, the GT63s has a faster time the fastest standard M5. We dont complain how the SVJ was faster than the 918 because it was done months later. Even a 10 minute difference in performing the lap can cause a difference. So whats your excuse for the GT63s beating the same AC M5 at the Nurburgring??

@davissilvestrs1996 I never made those excuses bro, you'll never get cars on the same cycle, its like when there was F10 vs W213. Im more than happy to admit M5 CP is faster than the E63S without any excuse. If ring times are meaningless, why aren't all track times? Coughing in the car can make you judder which you have to correct which takes longer than a second. Being more confident by spending hours in the car over laps can decrease the time by a second. If you are an enthusiast that drives cars on tracks then you should be the first to understand that although nice for pub talk, times or performance doesn't mean anything, its about how the car makes you feel.

@jamiec4478 The M5 Competitions more expensive than the E63S by minimum 5k in the UK lol
1
@freddiejones4598 M5 CP is definitely faster than the E63S but if you're saying theres no videos of the E63S winning against the M5 you're a bit ignorant lol. If one car was really better than the other, then the other car should have no sales, right? There's a lot more to a car than statistics lol.

@jamiec4478 https://www.bmw.co.uk/configurator go to BMW M5, £91,425, then change it to CP which is +£6,500. Without any other options that's £97925. https://www.mercedes-benz.co.uk/passengercars/content-pool/tool-pages/car-configurator.html/motorization?rccVehicleModelId=2130422&rccNationalSalesType=GB1 scroll to E63S and you can see it for £92,250. I don't know where the prices in the video are from but 97925 - 92250 is >5000. You're also 10x more likely to get a better deal on an E63S which has been available for 2 years than a M5 CP thats been out for 2 months so you can't say they got more £££ off on the M5.

@muhammed1673 I don't think you've driven either car to be making such assumptions... Look at comparisons by owners on MBWorld or f90 bimmerpost.

@davissilvestrs1996 And once again the GT63S beat it in the quarter mile, 0-100, and every other speed measurement except 0-200 and 0-160 and, when they ran a quicker time with the GT63S on the same track again
