Zen Den My S is from 2014, nearly 5 years old now and it’s as problem free as the 2019 vogue which was recently delivered. I don’t understand the nonsense about the car breaking all the time that people talk about.

@oleg274 It’s not like comparing s 540 to a m5?? There’s a 50hp difference between performance and non performance audi rs’, there’s nearly 300 between the 540 and m5. Also, the E63S is the only model available, no such thing as an E63 non s anymore

@Destroyah32 There’s no such thing as an AMG 63, read the Dealer Ordering Guide, its 63S only now. They offered the 63 on the sedan a few years ago but the estate was 63S and now both sedan and estate are only available in 63S.

pops and bangs What? Mercedes has no need to take design cues from the g90. You’re not providing any evidence... The g90 head designer is from vag so of course the new genesis will be looking more like European cars. In fact, the g90s taillights are the exact shape of the old s class.

@AK-rx6hv I disagree with that, it’s the best driving s class from over the last 20 years. Even compared to my old 16 s8 it’s not a “boring car to drive”

NSUScooter The only car in this category that I would think of getting is the Audi A8, not much else provides a similar experience, the 7 is nice though. You guys are saying other cars are better without providing any information, my 20 year old CL had features missing in this genesis lol. I’ve been in g90s and ls500s in Dubai, they’re the standard hotel transportation as well as the S Class and Rolls Royce depending on where you’re staying. If I thought it was better I’d have one. The appeal of the extended warranty is why Genesis does it, Mercedes is all about profit for future, Ive extended my warranty as I do with most items I own and still haven’t found a time where its been needed.

SiiCkLyXXAmAZiiNG Sales indicate the success of a car, if it is as great as a car at a bargain price as you are claiming, people should be jumping all over it no? People keep saying it’s because of it being a s class, that’s the point. The s class is known as the best, and everyone else wants to buy the best. That’s genesis fault for not being reputed as so.

The luxury car is not niche, it sold over 100,000 units in its first year which as a comparison is more than 3 years worth of 911s. Come central London and there won’t be a road without one. This video is meant for luxury cars, don’t know why you’re talking about car enthusiasts and other cars here...

SiiCkLyXXAmAZiiNG This video has nothing to do with car enthusiasts, it’s to do with luxury cars. I’ve been in a g90 and ls500 in Dubai, so have many of my friends and family. I have yet to find someone who says either are better than the s class, there’s also forums for both marquees which you can look at too, but I can’t find anyone who says what you do, in fact this is a quote about the Lexus from an article vs the s class “The enormous 2,340kg kerbweight, caused partly by the heavy battery pack, means it starts to lose its control and composure over undulations at higher speed, though, while the adaptive dampers and air springs can’t isolate the worst thumps because the rather ostentatious wheels clatter over harsher ridges.”.

@AK-rx6hv As a “sports car” it lacks and the 7 series excels at that, I’ve never thought of it like that as I have more suited cars. The S Class is meant to be a luxury car and to me is one of the most relaxing cars to drive, and as a luxury car I believe it has always been the benchmark in that segment except from a small time in both the 220 and 221 generations. From what you’re saying it sounds like you’d enjoy a panamera turbo, RS7 or m5.

@Todd.T People have different tastes, there’s posts on audizine about why they preferred the rs6 to the e63s and posts on mbworld about why they preferred the e63s to rs6. The only Audi I prefer to its comparatives is the RS3. Also they’ll always catch you with their new system, my apparently undetectable tuning box on a S3 got caught on a TB1. Their ODIS system is getting smart. I was speaking to my tuner about another car and he told me to buy another ECU and get it immobilised.

@TheFreshkidd619 If you read any of the comments you’d find out that there’s no such thing as an e63 estate, and from 20 no such thing as an e63. The only proper Mercedes E Class AMG is the E63s which as shown here is faster than the rs6
