Do you recall any agreement signed by or any war led by or any money issued by such entity as "ukrain" prior to 20 century? No. B/c it did not exist. As far as western or not part of russia, Belostok and Kholm(chelm) are old Russian settlement that are currently in ( or rather occupied by) poland.

What you call these days "azebadzhan" is a collection of different Persian historic provinces where azeri Turks were a small minority and lived in the valley. Shirvan and Karabakh and lenkoran were the biggest provinces. Kuba khanate was an extension of Derbent khanate.
