  1. Informing the US of the operation, even post factum, was a mistake too. Israel has thus admitted its role in it. I thought initially they denied, or least, didn't affirm, their participation. In general, any communication w/the US should be curtailed, if not severed altogether, b/c the US will immediately run to Iran to report. Happened before.
