Gazans are Egyptians, the older generation born before 1967 were born in Egypt, they have their birth certs. Their kids should be Egyptians too. They're not refugees, they've got a citizenship.

@saidkahar5414 What's nonsensical about it? Israelis came from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, etc , in addition to those who've lived there for generations. It's the ingathering of the exiles, the mission of the State. Not sure what you mean, but guess it's ok not to mean anything.

@The1stEmperor When Palestine existed, that is, before 1948, everybody who lived there was called a Palestinian. Some were native born, others came from others parts of the world, and those had their birth certs from their countries. Yet, they were not considered refugees in any way and didn't receive any UN handouts. After 1948, the word Palestine fell out of use and was replaced by Israel. Now those who are Israeli born have Israeli birth certs, those who came retain the birth certs of their countries, just like everywhere else in the world. You don't change your place of birth, it's kinda hard to be born again elsewhere.
