  3.  @murraykilpatrick3029  The journo was pressing him on the suspension of weapon sales to Israel, and the spox said, "Clearly, you're concerned about the suspension of the weapon sales, while we're concerned about providing aid to Gaza" (non- verbatim). So what does it mean? It means that the journo' didn't care about the Gazans, didn't care about increasing the aid to them, but only wanted the weapons to Israel stopped. I thought the spox saw through him just right.

  11. The aid been going into Gaza since day one and before. Israel provided every last thing for them, from food to utilities to med, to money, etc. The US had nothing to do w/it. They didn't send any aid.

  13. No, it's not what he's saying. Gaza received aid from Israel since 1967, every day and every last thing we delivered to them from Israel. They don't produce anything of their own, they can't. When Gush Katif was there, they grew produce and flowers that constituted 60% of our export. After 2005, when Gush Katif was evacuated, they produced tunnels and weaponry, but they didn't export those, only imported.

  15.  @DarthSkywalkerKenobi  The open air prison is your own invention, you clearly have never set foot there, but suit yourself from your basement if it amuses you. I guess it doesn't hurt to have some fun on occasion. Israel didn't control anything except the aid that they themselves provided. Israel had no jurisdiction over Gaza and not one Israeli was allowed in, while thousands of Arabs came to work in Israel daily. They were also free to travel anywhere in the world, and emigrate, if they wished. If Israel could've controlled what went in/out, there would be no tunnels or stockpiles of weapons in Gaza.   17.  @federicorazzoli1097  I am sorry but spox don't send weapons. Spox are ppl who speak, they're not in the business of selling. It's the gov that's sells weapons through weapon manufacturers. So your blame is completely misdirected.
