  7. How can Abbas invite anybody to Gaza if he himself is not there? What does he want them to do? Gaza is a war zone, nobody is allowed. How can they even get there? They'd have to fly into Ben Gurion first and will be stopped there and sent back. This is pretty rude, if you ask me.

  9.  @muivah  Of course, he can speak. He's an elected leader of an independent nation that holds a UN membership. The problem is that nobody is gonna listen to him or make a favorable decision. The UN has a history of anti Israelism. The good news is that none of their resolutions are binding and have ever been implemented.

  16.  @janeanon7063  There is no Palestinian land today, sorry to upset. What used to be Palestine is now divided among Israel, Jordan and Gaza. None of those is called Palestine and no further division of the land is possible either. Thanks for posting

  19.  @caryschwencke2730  Nobody will let Palestine be Palestine, it's a pipe dream. The Arabs missed their chance. They could've had a state and called it Palestine or whatever else they wanted, but they forwent it and now the train has left the station.
