The IDF has 300,000 standing army alone, plus many more in reserves. New ppl are coming every day,, flights are full, ppl sit in the aisles. Casualties in dead are slightly over 300 ppl thus far. Plus we don't fight w/ppl, we fight w/high tech.

@Gamingwithwatchout Most of them are returning Israelis who were overseas on vacations or work assignments, or living there temporarily, , etc. But we always welcome newcomers too. Our law allows for immigration and/or temporary residence and joining the army is perfectly legal also. Not sure what's fun about it, but suit yourself.

@Gamingwithwatchout The Ottomans didn't buy anything, they conquered the land by force several centuries ago. There were no troops there; the military control was exercised by the Ottomans. Land was purchased by the Jews starting in the middle of the 19th century. It was a project funded by charitable organizations and individuals in Europe and America. Once the Jewish community was established, Arabs started coming too attracted by jobs, med services etc. That lasted until WW1 when the Brits wrestled the land from the Turks also by force and established their rule (the UN mandate) that lasted until 1948, when Israel proclaimed independence. By then, land had already been purchased and paid for.
