@CalculusBridge You can't be all things for all ppl at all times. There is always an opposition. There were ppl who voted against him in the past as well. As far the hostages, he can't agree to end the war w/o achieving its primary goal, that is, eradicating Hamas, and that's what Hamas wants. The hostages are its only trump card remaining.

@ChrisAlbertH47 1. He can't stop selling weapons, he's more interested in selling them than we are in buying. 2. No political cover from the USA. The UN's resolutions are not binding anyway. 3. The US doesn't give anybody free money, maybe only to the Arabs b/c they're the masters. 4. Israel has its own military industry and sells weapons to others. 5. other contries sell weapons too

@ayhamkimo4488 Of course, it's a serious question. You said he (Biden) is a party to Israel's war on Hamas, so I asked how he was a party. I read there was a small American contingent sent here at the beginning, not sure for what, and not sure they're still here. Otherwise, I am not sure. Thank you.

@CardiffDevil The word zionism comes from the name of Mt Zion, which is a low mountain in Jerusalem. The first use of this word dates back to the 19th century when it started as a movement of Jews to come back to then Palestine and re-establish a country in their ancestral land. Those ppl called themselves early zionists. It had nothing to do w/oppression or land theft or any such things. Land was purchased from absentee land owners who lived in other countries and willingly sold their deeds. As the Jewish presence grew, Arabs started coming too b/c the Jews offered jobs, health care and other services. Once Israel came into being, the Arabs were encouraged to stay and live together w/the Jews and those who agreed are now rightful citizens of Israel. Those who chose to leave, well, it was their choice. Nobody pushed them out, nobody stole their land. You can read the history of zionism if you want. It's available everywhere. The current meaning of zionism is the effort to preserve and strengthen the State. Again, it has nothing to do w/oppression or inhumanity. Unfortunately, the meaning of the word got twisted by the UN and the media and assumed a neg connotation. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

That was decided many years ago, and against Israel's will, in fact. Hopefully now Israel will get out of this quagmire. Bibi or another PM will do it.
