  1. So glad to see Mia healthy. The last time I saw her she was barely able to move her arm that was severely injured while she was taken captive and she was operated on in Gaza by a vet and w/o sedation. back in Israel she was treated (not by a vet but by our outstanding med professionals) and now looks like she's regained functioning. What a courageous and resilient young lady! Bow to her and our doctors, nurses and physical therapists for helping her.

  2. Mia reported being touched during the capture, then she said she was kept in a house of a Hamas member who was married w/a kid and she believed that was the only reason she wasn't violated. But the kid was nasty as h-- . He would show her a candy box and then say, hey, it's not for ya. Their young are well taught.

It's not hard to check whether or not he had materials w/his name in the by-line or his voice/images in vids. But even if he wasn't their journo, but somebody else's journo or no journo at all, he was a "civilian".

I am wondering if there is any other country in the world where everybody, and I mean everybody, no matter the wealth, education, social status, fame or anything else, goes to the army if and when needed. Everybody rises to the defense of the country. Israel is so unique and so wonderful; it's truly the light upon the nations.

  16.  @Ebowmayta  In fact, most of them do want to emigrate wherever but Hamas wants a ransom for each person, about $10K, which most can't pay. Once Hamas is gone, we'll take over and facilitate the emigration. Emigration is not always a bad thing, I can personally attest to it. I was forced out of my country of birth, Russia, and it was the best ever expulsion in the world. let me tell you this. The US is a great country, way better than Russia, and it was a real blessing. So emigration is not a dirty word,thank you

  17. Very true. They voted Hamas in office and they're devoted to them. Also, Hamas pays them. Other money making opportunities are scarce in Gaza unless they go work in Israel, which some did both as it turned out to be on Oct 7. they became Hamas informants, gave them the layouts of every kibbutz and every house. They knew where to go. And those were the ppl who gave them jobs and paid them well.

  21. Those are no hostages. they're prisoners held for various offenses. The hostages are innocent civilians mostly, w/some military in their midst.

  27. The mediators have no business supporting or rejecting any proposals. They're by definition mediators, not parties to the disputed matter. And Blinken's 10th visit here on the taxpayers' dime will achieve the same as it did thus far.
