@Mirul-ef3jb I don't know what you mean by Israelites, like ancient Israelites? Current residents of the State are called Israelis, not Israelites, and there are many religious ones among them. There whole cities where they're in the majority, including Jerusalem. I hope you go visit someday and see for yourself. 2. Zionists are the ppl who went to then Palestine in the late 19th century to build the land for the future state of Israel. Land was bought from absentee land owners and paid for. The money was raised by the world communities' donations, much of those donated by the Rothschild family. Once the Jewish enterprise started, many Arabs came too attracted by the jobs, medical and other services the Jews provided. Those were what we call early Zionists. Later, when the State of Israel came into being, that connotation changed to simple ppl who work for the strength and welfare of Israel. No, it's not an excuse for the State, sorry but the State doesn't need an excuse. Thank you.

@alareiks742 I am glad you speak Ukrainian, I am Russian born myself, from Moscow, but praise the Lord, vamoosed a long time ago, so lost much of my Russian by now, yet, when I was there, Ukraine was indeed Russia, just a different name perhaps, but in essence it was. No visa/passport was needed to travel there from Moscow, my parents had friends there and went to visit them and they visited back. No border control, no customs. The language those ppl spoke was Russian. They didn't speak Ukrainian from what I gather. Thank you

Mr. Oren, what makes you think that allowing Arabs into Israel to work will deter violence? Arabs from Gaza were allowed to work in the south, and what did we get on Oct 7? The people who worked in the kibbutzim came back to kill the very people who gave them jobs, paid them well and even befriended them. They knew the layouts of their communities and their houses; they knew their families, their kids, and they killed, mutilated, burned and raped them. Those were the people who were supposedly cleared, as you said. What makes you think it'll be any different now? I think it could be even worse now that they've seen what their bros could do.
In order to address labor shortages, at this time, we should allow foreign workers to come. It's not ideal but better than bringing in terror.

@Lockdonnyup They're all calling him unfit and other names, like H--itler, war monger, and the like even though there was peace during his tenure, unlike now. They engineered all kind of law suits against him and "convicted" him of nobody knows what. They tried to assassinate him. I guess he's got to defend at a personal level if they're going against him at that same level. but for the nation, He sealed the borders to the extent possible, revived the economy, pursued peace, etc. I think he proved his mettle, But that's ok, you can certainly see what you wanna see.

@Ebowmayta In fact, most of them do want to emigrate wherever but Hamas wants a ransom for each person, about $10K, which most can't pay. Once Hamas is gone, we'll take over and facilitate the emigration. Emigration is not always a bad thing, I can personally attest to it. I was forced out of my country of birth, Russia, and it was the best ever expulsion in the world. let me tell you this. The US is a great country, way better than Russia, and it was a real blessing. So emigration is not a dirty word, thank you

@willem-abrahamdippenaar3371 Your take is skewed, sorry to say, and the speaker actually answered your question, if you were listening instead of gearing up to your ha-te-ful reply. We have returned to our land, Sir/Ma'am, we were not pushed into Palestine. Nobody pushed us, we came on our own accord. Why? B/c it's our ancient land, it's Israel, not Palestine, and once the State was proclaimed in 1948, the word Palestine fell out of use. It's not up to the Palestinians to want us or not, they have no say and never did.

@ I am delighted that history will remember me, greatly honored. Unfortunately, it's not their land , they're refugees as classified by the UN, and thus, you can't be a refugee in your own land, that's an oxymoron. Hama$ is a great, no doubt, using them as hu--man shields and asking for $5K ransom for each person wanting to leave Gaza. There are 20+ Arab countries plus other countries that can take them, but if they prefer to stay "oppressed", it's their choice. Thank you

@stefansollberger5658 I don't know if you are aware of what happened on Oct 7 in Israel. If not, you can certainly look it up. It's available on every Israeli website both in English and Hebrew as well as other sites. In brief, Israel was attacked, its border breached, 1,200 ppl brutally killed including kids and babies, burned alive, decapitated, females raped including young girls, and 240 including foreigners captured. What was Israel supposed to do? Do you have another solution? If so, plz propose. Thank you.

He did not agree, I saw his speech, he said absolutely not, we 're not here to give and give, we're here to give and take. This deal is a disaster, it'll leave Hama$ in power and end the war w/very few or no hostages returned. Hama$ never provided a list of live hostages, it's unclear even how many are still alive and what we're negotiating for. Even if we get a few, the majority, mostly young ppl, will never see Israel even if they're currently alive. That said, however, Bibi is a good demagogue , no more. So I'll believe it when I see it.

@Mirul-ef3jb There were no countless wars, there were 2 only. One in 1948 when Israel came into being and the Israeli leaders at that time called on all the Arabs living in the land to stay. Those who listened stayed and are now citizens of Israel, about 20% of its populace. Those who decided to leave, left.Nobody was kicked out, as I said they were encouraged to stay. Their Arab neighbors, which called on them to leave, started the war in 1948, and lost it several months later. Even then, Israel was prepared to take back the Arabs who returned. Intifada is not a displacement, it's an Arab terror wave against Israel that took place in the 1990s following the Oslo accords. The displacement in Arabic is nakhba, I am not sure what you mean by Palestinians moving into Israel and the Holy Land. Israel is in the Holy Land. Thank you

@Mirul-ef3jb Extreme religious Judaism suggests that no state can be created until the Messiah comes.. That' is true. There are adherents to this mantra who actually live in Israel today, enjoying all the benefits yet not believing. Kinda interesting. Most religious Jews do recognize the State, serve in the army, etc. The State was not created by religious Jews, nor was it meant to be. It was created by secular Jews and their ideology was not religion-based. It was created for all Jewish ppl so they could return to their ancestral land especially after the holocaust they endured in Europe. Judaism and Zionism are not contradictory, they're just different in their pursuits. Today's Zionists, vs the early Zionists who worked to create the State, are those who work for the welfare and well-being of the State. That has nothing to do w/imperial expansion or colonization or ethnic cleansing. There are lots of Arabs and others living in Israel today. That said, if we're threatened as we were on Oct 7, yes, we rise to our defense, just like any other nation would. Thank you

@Inquisetor90 Right, "innocent" civilians are their parents, spouses,, siblings, etc who support and admire them, not sure about their real innocence. That Arab man who called his family from Israel on Oct 7 bragging that he just killed 10 ppl and his father praised him. Plus, Hamas imbeds itself w/civilians, which the ppl don't seem to mind. So what is the IDF to do?
The Israeli Arabs, about 20% of our population today are generally fine, some acted really heroically on Oct 7, saved many lives. Yet, there were also anti-Israel protests in Haifa and Jerusalem among their communities, so it's a complex issue.
It's my opinion, that they don't really want a state of their own, hence these political games coupled w/terror. They want to continue mooching off Israel and getting the UN handouts crying all the while about being victimized. Lots of money to be made w/this cry.

@compactinfinity As she said, they're doing all they can to minimize civilian casualties, but in a war situation esp. urban warfare, it's not always possible, and we regret every such death. Keep in mind too that most civilians are very supportive of their gov, Hama$, and serve as their human shield. It's possible too that some are forced, but even so, we can't control that, either. Another thing is that Hama$ is their employer which pays their salaries, so they're beholden to them, but that too is their internal affair. Thank you

@locustsandhoney486 Irgun as a paramilitary organization existed in the Yeshuv, it's no secret and no Wiki is needed to inform us about it. There were other groups at that time which were meant for the protection of the Jewish settlements against the Arabs. It's true that some individuals committed terror acts, such as the King David hotel bombing, but it wasn't their primary purpose and Israel as a state bears no responsibility for those acts b/c they took place pre-State. Once the State came into being, they were disbanded.
The first prime minister was David Ben Gurion, who was not a scientist and not Russian born. there is no law in Israel that disallows foreign born individuals to run for prime minister office. In fact, most early PM's were not native born. Levi Eshkol, Golda Meir, etc were all immigrants. And today, you don't have be native born to run for office, any office.
So history doesn't lie. You do.
Thanks for posting.

@Persianprincess834 We don't slaughter babies/kids, Hamas did it on Oct 7. 38 kids/babies were killed, 100+ left without one or both parents. 1,200 ppl killed total, mostly civilians, countless injured, 240 hostages taken, 30 killed in captivity, 20 more presumed the same, estimated 80-90 still alive, as the guest said abused every day. At least 2 kids are still in captivity, fate unknown.
Sorry but aggression is punishable.
Japan killed 2K of our military at Pearl Harbor and lost 3 million in the course of the war, including the tragedy of Hiroshima/Nagasaki. Sorry but aggression is punishable.
Germany was reduced to rubble by the end of the war. Sorry but aggression is punishable.
Thank you

I disagree w/Yishai and w/the other gentleman. Yishai said, "We should fight this war as if there were no hostages." No, we can't disregard them. they're our ppl, and we should've done everything to get them back. How? Just like we got 100+ of them back in Nov. How did we do it then? By not providing any aid to Hama$, by bom--bing them, by putting military pressure. If we'd kept at it, we would have all of them back by now, and perhaps the war would be over too thus saving hundreds of other lives of our ppl. The other person said, "It would be an easy war if it weren't for the hostages". Perhaps, but don't forget our spineless gov and high command. Even w/o the hostages, Bibi would've bent the knee to the US which is bending over backwards trying to save Hama$, esp. now that the election time is coming up. The hostages seem to have become a secondary issue for them. it's the Hama$ that needs to be save for future use.

I don't know who the commentator is, never heard his name or saw his face, not sure he has any credibility or knowledge to talk about what he's trying to talk about, probably another self-made anchor who purchased a youtube channel and broadcasts from the basement of his house, for his comments clearly testify to his complete ignorance. Sorry, I didn't listen to the end, would be a waste of my time, the beginning was clear enough. No, Sir, Israel will not accept an offer of a permanent ceasefire until Hamas is defeated and its leaders are dead or exiled forever. The leaders are surrounding themselves w/hostages in the tunnels, very brave men, no doubt, but the release of the hostages is only one goal, and not the primary one. Hamas will be gone, Gaza will likely be annexed to Israel and populated by Jews, the "civilian" population removed. Don't mess w/Israel, dear man, either on the ground or on youtube. Have a nice day.

Not a new thing. The US said the same and looks like Australia is dutifully toeing the line. But then again, nobody's obligated. Australia is not being attacked. It's Israel's job to defend its citizens. Others could help if they wish, but there is no obligation. I mean is there an agreement between them to help? Is Israel part of the NATO whereby other members would be duty bound? I guess not. If Israel is not willing to do it (which it can do easily w/o any help), it's their choice. It Israel is content w/daily bombardments and the north denuded of the populace, it's their choice. Hisballa is no more than a bunch of hoodlums, it's not an army, they have no heavy weapons, no airforce, no armor. If Israel is not willing to deal w/them, well, nothing others can do.

@ That's not what it seems to me, though. Not one goal of the war has been achieved yet, and it's been 19 months. Hama$ is not defeated, conversely, they're dictating terms, hostages are still in captivity, and quite a few are gone, including the Bibas angels and mom, Gaza is still controlled by Hama$, aid is flowing in, and Israel keeps bowing the Hama$ wims

@The1stEmperor When Palestine existed, that is, before 1948, everybody who lived there was called a Palestinian. Some were native born, others came from others parts of the world, and those had their birth certs from their countries. Yet, they were not considered refugees in any way and didn't receive any UN handouts. After 1948, the word Palestine fell out of use and was replaced by Israel. Now those who are Israeli born have Israeli birth certs, those who came retain the birth certs of their countries, just like everywhere else in the world. You don't change your place of birth, it's kinda hard to be born again elsewhere.

@getroasted7907 Hama$ is not an army b/c Gaza is a demilitarized state according to the terms of Israel's withdrawal in 2005, and thus everybody there is a civilian. However, once a civilian picks up a weapon and uses it, this individual is no longer a civilian, and thus becomes a legit military target. Also, a civilian who, even w/o a weapon, allows their facilities (homes, schools, vehicles, etc) to be used for military/terror purposes also becomes a legit target. The same applies to civilians holding hostages since taking hostages is a war crime. Thus many such "civilians" have been killed in combat. I'd think as sensible adults, they should've known better. TY

@NerdicusGoblinski As I mentioned before, Germany's goal was to conquer Europe and Africa, I don't believe Israel has this goal. If by a goose step you mean military parades, Israel hasn't had one since 1973, but we do maintain a strong well equipped army b/c that's the neighborhood we live in, kind of the Chicago southside, you've got to be vigilant. No, Israel has never committed any genocidal actions, even the Hague court, prejudiced however it was, found none. Thank you

@pao6097 1. all you see if your computer/phone screen. you see nothing more unless you live in Israel or Gaza. Your computer screen shows what's put on the internet by individuals who put what they want which includes computer generated images, old movie scenes, voiceovers instead of real voices, captions instead of interviews, montages, clips made in Qatar b/c the IDF doesn't permit filming in the war zone, etc. 2. Yes, Israel has no shortages b/c it's a very technologically developed country w/very smart and hard working ppl. Yet, there is still destruction in the north. Israel didn't start the war, it provided everything for Gaza since Gazans don't have anything of their own, but they attacked, killed our ppl, took hostages and lots more. They had coming. Sorry it happened

This is good to hear, but the problem is, they'll be replaced. There is no shortage of aspirants, the money is good, and then, of course, all those afterlife pleasures are waiting to happen. What I am not getting is that in 1967, it took us 6 days to obliterate the armies of 3 states, and I mean real armies w/weapons, military training etc. How come now we're not able to handle a bunch of goons with no military training, small arms at best, nothing to show for themselves in the way of discipline? How is this happening?

@bernadettelarkin2933 What was denied to the people of Gaza? Living in peace and raising their families? They have 20 kids in one family. They're allowed up to 4 wives per man, and each woman has at least 5 kids. That's why their populace is so young. It's a huge reservoir of humanity, good will, creativity, etc. Those young ppl could've contributed to the world. Instead, they've chosen terror, chose to support their gov, Hama$ in its murderous intentions, gencide, torture, violations, etc. Well, nothing doing, they made their choice.

The Islamization of Europe and other parts of the world is exactly what the presenter said, "peaceful" jihad. They're flooding the countries that are not theirs, that they have no ancestral connections with and given their uncontrolled birth rate, they'll overrun them pretty soon, unfortunately. That's the fault of the host countries, of course. They're in charge of their own immigration policies and they've made them so that all those masses have been allowed to come. Now they're also saying that we, the Jews, have no ancestral connection w/the Land of Israel; we, the Jews, don't have the right DNA (like they know what DNA is in the first place), and, the Ashkenazi (I am one of them) came from the Moon to occupy their dear "Palestine". And ppl fall for it. That's the logic of the "peaceful" jihad.

@hughmiller6389 I am sorry you think this way and know all about laws and the non-existent Palestine (that alone goes to show how educated you are), but there are variations of independent states, including demilitarized (like Germany was in the past, unless you want to say Germany was not a state, either), as well as other limitations imposed on such a state. Israel has never prevented the Arabs from having a state, in fact it offered it to them at least 4 times, the UN offered it to them in 1947 before Israel was even a state itself, but the Arabs never ever wanted a state and refused all the offers, and there are reasons for that which are still the reasons today. Gaza is not occupied by Israel, it's an independent state under its own elected gov. and as such it violated the borders of another state, Israel, and started a war against it. Israel is defending itself agaist said aggression and will continue to do so until the aggressor is vanquished. Thank you

@VolrinSeth Sir/Ma'am, I've replied tons of times, plz see my previous posts. There isn't much I can add. Gaza has been an independent state since 2005 w/clearly defined borders and border fences. Israel had no jurisdiction over it, no way to get in, no way to stop their tunnel building and weapon smuggling. Egypt, which also has a border w/it, oversaw the weapon flow and profited from it big time. Israel knew that but couldn't do anything precisely for this reason. Israel allowed thousands to cross every day to work and paid them well. No other country allowed them entry. They had their own port which they used for the Oct 7 invasion. Israel provided all the utilities, med, edu, money, etc. They routinely went to Israel's best hospitals for treatment, while no Israeli was allowed to set foot in Gaza. If there was control of movement, it was Hama$ that required a 5K dollar ransom for each person leaving. What more could we have done for them? Of course, now, they blew their chance, sorry it happened.

Not only was there mass rape during Hamas' Oct 7 rampage in Israel, the mass rape is continuing unabated now as we speak and inflicted on female hostages, particularly young women and girls. Users, don't listed to these people, they're impostors, they have no credentials to speak about anything that concerns Israel, they're liars. Blinded by hatred for the only Jewish state in the world, the beautiful state, the wonder of the modern world, the light onto the nations. They have no proof of their allegations, no leg to stand on, they're just putting on airs and spewing lies. Ask them to provide one credible proof, one credible testimony, one video footage that is not of their own making. Look around, listen to the testimonies of released hostages, they're available online and youtube, just put in a title. Look at credible sources, don't listen to these fake experts.

@CarlNipmuc Sir/Ma'am, do you realize that every hostage that was released was ordered to speak highly about Hama$? They failed in their endeavor to beat us and were forced to release a large group of hostages and so now they're trying to make amends by telling them to speak well of them. Those who were rescued by force are telling horrible stories, and that includes males, not only females. Maybe read the testimony of Andrey Kozlov who was among the 4 rescued hostages. And it's a man, mind you. At the time that young lady was released, there were still hostages left in captivity and Hama$ promised to kill them if those released didn't praise their captors. Besides, i am not even sure that first vid exists, I personally didn't see it, but even it does, it's likely to be fake. like they put red paint or ketchup on themselves and pass it for wounds. No media are allowed in Gaza so they don't get real footage, it's all Pallywood.

@user-jz2tw8fg2s The Arabs refused to set up their country when they were offered this opportunity in 1947, refused 4 times afterwards, allowed their lands to be taken by Egypt and Jordan, allowed Gaza, which was their state created in 2005, to become a launchpad of ter--rror, went to war that they lost time and time again, and so now it's too late for them, sorry. Neither Israel nor Jordan is willing to carve land out of their countries to accommodate this hostile populace and set up a state for them. No neighboring Arab countries, such as Egypt, Syria, etc are willing to even admit them, let alone give them a state. There is nothing anybody can do for them at this time. Sorry. Peoples who wanted a country got a country, those who didn't, those who wanted to perpetuate their fake refuge status will perpetuate it. It's their choice.

The support is mainly rhetorical that will die down within days, per usual. The bottom line is that Z doesn't want to end the war, he wants money, and Mr Trump understands it full well. Thus, I believe, if/when this deal is revisited, Z will get a much tougher go than this time. He'll end up cornered, if not overthrown altogether, and the deal will favor the US,, not Ukr.

Strange statement, though. I've been reading real sources and the info is quite the opposite. Northern Gaza is completely liberated and under control of the Gaza Brigade, the very brigade which Hamas attempted to decimate on Oct. 7. Futile attempt, as most others. The action is now in Khan Yunis, which is being surrounded. According to Gallant, 50% of Hamas are dead or wounded to the point that they won't return to the ranks. The special forces were pulled back into Israel b/c they're no longer needed; the job is done. Hamas is trying to leverage the hostages to stop the war; the only leverage it has left. Remember a couple of months back they let out about 100 for a few days of ceasefire, now they can't afford that. They don't have those days. So this video is pretty fake, no evidence, no interviews, just pictures fake sources and blah-blah. You guys look like you're basically reporting from your basements, just putting pictures and spinning narratives. You don't have any evidence whatsoever. No credibility, sorry to say.

@XanGervin I don't know how many ppl participate in each, never counted them, never attended them, don't know where the #'s come from either, not sure what you mean by the whole world knowing, how can you speak for the world, you're just one person, but it's all up to you, think what you may, those protests are not worth a can of beans, just a waste of money for the donors who fund them, nobody pays any attention. Hope you have a good night.

I think what backfired greatly at the dems, this time and in 2016, is, like the guest said, their categorization/stereotyping of ppl, their division of the nation by skin color, religion, gender, education, etc. I think this is not what ppl think or feel, and it's not how they vote. They vote for their beliefs and principles, not their demographics.

@darrenjamrock2677 Well, I am guessing sometimes ppl see what they want to see , and you're welcome to enjoy your vision. Bibi is a person, Iran is a country, and thus those 2 are incomparable. Besides, you're not seeing Iranian leaders at all, they never show up in public, they don't make speeches or give interviews, or pressers, they're in hiding and thus, you don't know what their body language would be like. Iran is on its back foot, you can sugarcoat it all you want, but the truth remains. Its proxies are virtually decimated, they're no longer able, or perhaps even willing to follow the boss. They were Iran's pawns which are now off the chessboard, and w/o them, Iran can't do very much except spewing idle threats.

I am sorry but I refuse to believe that the PM didn't know about the impending disaster of the Oct 7. The top echelon knew but he didn't? The intel knew but he didn't? Did they not report it to him on purpose? Were they afraid? Afraid that he would indeed preempt? No worries, he wouldn't have. He refused to do anything even after the invasion! He ran to Biden for consult and Biden said, "Don't you dare. Hama$ is my darling, don't even contemplate." Then Biden promised to throw him a piece of candy, aka as cash, but that fell through, from what I know. When the bill cleared Congress, Biden vetoed it. Gee, how gracious. Now we're having a redux. A piece of candy for not attacking Iran ("We're working on limiting Israel's response to Iran", OK? And guess what? he's not doing a thing. Rockets are flying non-stop, even today, on Yom Kippur. If he's gonna continue listening to the senile Biden or the "world opinion" (and he has, for a year now), he must resign, and no, not go live in comfortable retirement, but stand trial for the bet--ray--al of his country and his people.

SodiumFi7705 That's OK, Sir/Ma'am, you don't have to support Israel. We're fine w/o your support. That said, we have lots and lots of Israelis who came from Russia, Ukraine and other Russian satellites. This immigration has going strong since before the inception of the State, and among them, there have been many outstanding personalities, including prime ministers. And no, I am not an immigrant to Russia. In fact, the direct opposite, born in Moscow but lived most of my life in the US, and now an American-Israeli. Thank you.

@thomastemmerman7276 I am sorry but there have always been Jews living there,. There were also Arabs there, not doubt, they weren't called Palestinians, just Arabs. And Israel offered them to stay and build the country together, but most refused whereby making their own choice. Those who decided to go w/Israel are now Muslim citizens of Israel w/all the rights/privileges. I don't know about the book character that gave the Land to Israel, I am sorry, I didn't read that book, but the land is ours today, book or no book, and that's what matters. We're not giving it away or even sharing. Thank you

@chompythebeast Your slogans mean nothing, they're thrown around every day these days, on campuses, in the media, online, you name it. Unfortunately, ppl don't know what they're saying. Some are paid for saying them, others just join the bandwagon. Palestine doesn't exist as a country and never did. It's a territory which was ruled by different powers at different times, the last ruler being the UK. Their mandate came to an end in 1948, and after their evac, Israel proclaimed independence. The state was named Israel, not Palestine. Currently, the area of Palestine includes 3 independent entities: Israel, Jordan, and Gaza. There are also Syria and Lebanon in the north, which are part of the Levant. None of those countries is called Palestine. So how can Palestine be free if it's already taken and divided. All the entities are free already.

Great question. I think Israel should rebuild it, gradually, not right away. It's costly, of course, but well worth it. It's a good parcel of land, beach front, sand dunes, vegetation, etc. could be turned into a resort , hotels, nice restaurants, etc. lots of money to be made.

The US is jumping up and down trying to prevent the Rafa op, but no go, Joe. The US wasn't attacked, US citizens weren't killed, although there were a few among them plus a few taken captive, but that's not of importance for Biden. What's important is to save Hama$ , let them regroup and repeat the Oct 7 again and again, as they promised. No go, Joe. Won't happen. And w/regards to the intel, I've got to laugh, really. We know way more than the US. it's Israel that shares info w/the US, not conversely. Nice try, Joe.

@sarychm6061 I am sorry, I don't understand your cryptic passages, so I can only reply to the parts that are clear to me. Nobody was consulted, including the Yeshuv, it was the UN's decision. The Yeshuv got smaller and poorer quality land and parts that they'd paid for were taken away also, yet they accepted. The Arabs did not, and that was their choice. If they had a state today, looking at Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, it's not hard to surmise what they would be like, if they even existed, given that their neighbors could've gobbled them up like they did their pre-state territories.

@thatman4924 Look, either you're not reading my posts or not understanding them, but it's certainly your choice and I am not gonna tell you what to do. You're throwing out meaningless slogans that have nothing to do w/the facts on the ground, but that, again, is your choice. I don't know if there was a state of Israel before 1948. I am not religious and don't know ancient history, but in 1948, modern Israel came into being. There has never been a Palestinian state before or after 1948, and there is not one now. Palestine was a territory ruled by different rulers at different times, the last one being the UK, whose mandate expired in 1948, after which Israel was proclaimed. Right now, the former territory of Palestine is divvied up among Israel, Jordan and Gaza. None of them is named Palestine. There is no more space in the land, and no further division is possible. Neither Israel nor Jordan will carve out land for yet another state in their midst. That issue is closed. Thank you.

@vsemprivet I totally agree w/you. It reminded me of Hillary's "big brown wall" comment. I am not Hispanic but if I were, I wouldn't have voted for her just for that. I guess the question was a product of the dems' divisive policies which are too ingrained on ppl's psyche to let go easily. Black ppl are as diverse as others, they're not one big chunk, they're individuals, like everybody else, so I think that their concerns are everybody's concerns. Flourishing economy, decent wages, affordable prices, safety, good edu, good health care, strong families, kids growing up safe and happy, peace in the world--those are universal issues and if Trump can deliver (Biden clearly could not), then ppl should vote for him regardless of their ethnicity. I think Vance did the best he could answering the question, but the question itself was off. Just my 2 bucks here

@somebongi I've never read any Islamic literature, so I don't know what it says and more importantly, how truthful it is, but if weighed by deeds, the Arabs won't score very high, they haven't contributed anything to humanity except murder and destruction. Now compare this w/other religions, such as Christianity, Judaism, etc which created the civilization and keep it going. All the inventions, discoveries, scientific advances, etc come from the Western world, not from the muslims.

@kikimbrown Plz understand that the Arabs have been offered a state many times and refused as many times. They were offered a state even before Israel itself was one. They don't want a state, they want to mooch of Israel that provides every last thing, war or no war, terrorism or not. If they get a state, they'll lose all of that, lose the UN handouts, and most probably other monies that are donated to them to fight the "zionist entity". On top of that, if and when this state rises in battle against it, it will be eliminated. It could be eliminated by its own bros also (Syria, Jordan, Egypt). No, they won't accept a state. They never did and nothing has since changed. Thank you

@user-wo8Iw9km4w I hope your post is a joke, I really do. I mean I don't know where to begin, really. It's mind boggling to hear such statements. Where did you get all those lies? From the media? From your friends? neighbors? your family? Gaza was made into an independent state by Israel which unilaterally withdrew its troops and residents in 2005 w/o any negotiations or preconditions. Not one Israeli has since set foot there. There was a border fence built that separated the 2 countries permanently. Israel has no jurisdiction, no power , no control, nothing at all over Gaza. Who must ask Israel's permission to leave the country? What country? Israel? Anybody is free to leave at any time. Gazans are under their own gov, Hama$, not Israel, and Hama$ controls their movement. If Hama$ requires permission, it's their decision, not Israel's. If Hama$ requires a ransom for each person leaving, it's their decision. That's a money maker for them, not Israel. Neither Israeli police nor military has set foot in Gaza since 2005. No tourism was allowed by Hama$ either. Even unarmed civilians couldn't come, couldn't even visit relatives. Gazans, on the other hand, came to Israel every day to work and visit and made good money b/c Gaza has no economy save for small businesses like barber shops which don't pay very much. They don't grow their own food b/c they're incapable, they can't build an infrastructure b/c they're incapable. Their men are engaged in terrorism, not creativity and women are not allowed to leave home. Thank you

Palestinians are Arabs, not sure why there is any doubt about it. They speak Arabic, the worship the same religion, etc. Before 1948, everybody living in the area was a Palestinian, the Arabs, the Jews, the Christians, etc. b/c there was no Israel. Once Israel came into being, the land was called Israel and the word "Palestine" fell out of use. The parts allocated to the Arabs by the UN vote were gobbled up by Egypt and Jordan, and those countries absorbed the Arab populations. After 1967, the lands fell to Israel, but the word "Palestine" remained out of use. Judea/Samaria are called Judea and Samaria, Gaza is called Gaza, where is that Palestine?

@mohamadromzee7394 No Sir/Ma'am, Gaza is a free state, they have everything, plus billions in donations. Where did those monies go? For the betterment of the ppl? For the economy? I don't know if you've ever been to Gaza and seen it, but it's a pretty peachy parcel of land. It has everything, sand dunes, sea, beach, greenery, etc. It could've been turned into a resort w/tons of jobs and money to be made. They voted for their gov, they got what they voted for.

@Ok_Computer_98 The gov of Israel has long been left/communist and/or left of center at best. They relinquished Gaza in 2005 and created an independent state out of it sending or allowing billions of dollars to flow into the coffers of their leaders. Hama$ top honchos are worth at least 5 billion each. Israel provided food, utilities, money, edu, medical, etc. Basically, Gaza was their welfare state, thus they supported ter--rr-rrism. It blew up in their face, to be sure, and ppl are now suffering, but they don't care.

@nadilene789 Most likely they are. Gaza is an independent state under its own gov, Hama$. There are no Israelis there, hence no apartheid, unless you mean Egypt's control, but if so, take it up w/them. Yehuda/Shomron are Israel. The land is no longer in dispute, ceded to Israel by Jordan in the 1990s, and Jordan, by the way, occupied it illegally from 1948 to 1967. Now Jordan's borders are sealed also, and thus, talk to Jordan if you're upset. The checkpoints are there for security, not for segregation, just like you go through it in airports and gov buildings in the US. Take care.

@Qubert1971 You can certainly stand by what you said except I am not sure what it was. I don't know what it was about Ben Gurion, either,, and you certainly don't have to know about him if you're not interested. Ben Gurion was not "it". He was a person, and thus "he". W/regards to the Palestinian land, it wasn't taken, it was purchased over a period of appox. 80 years when the land was owned by the Ottoman Empire, modern day Turkey. The money was paid and thus the old owners have no more claims. That's how the land was obtained. In Lebanon, no land was taken, either. There was a security zone to prevent shelling (at that time, it was mostly long range artillery and rockets, no drones yet), but then the IDF pulled out in exchange for an empty UN resolution that never saw fulfilment. Now, of course, it's backfiring but the hope is that such a mistake won't be made again.

@ym-lv4jp I am glad you're explaining the Balfour declaration. I happen to know it. I am also happy to inform you that under the Mandate, the Brits did all they could to stop the immigration of the Holocaust survivors into then-Palestine, by intercepting their ships and arresting their crews and passengers and shoving them into detention camps in Cyprus where they languished until May 15, 1948, when the State of Israel was proclaimed. Brave souls managed to escape and reach Palestine by foreign boats. The English never confiscated one acre of the Arab land, they hated Jews just as much and arranged Arab attacks on their convoys including the Hadassah medical convoy. The Arabs living in Palestine at that time had an ample chance to create their own state even before Israel, that is, in 1947 after the partition vote. They didn't do it. Their choice, erroneous as ever. They started a war against the newly established state of Israel, brought in 5 other Arab countries to crush it. Tough luck, they lost. 6,000 Israelis were killed in the war out of the population of 600K, yet the State stood. And it stands today. And will stand forever. Am Israel Chai!

@ReformedBeliever96 Sir/Ma'am, are you delusional or just pretend? Gaza has been an independent state since 2005 under its own elected gov, Hama$. Israel had no control over it at all. If they were controlled, it was by Hama$ and Egypt, that blockaded them and continues to do so now. They were allowed to come to Israel to work daily, Israel provided all the utilities, jobs, edu, money etc. They prospered, not just lived. If Hama$ stole their money, take it up w/them, not w/us. Thank you

@body2811 I never said anything about forceful conversion. I said whoever wants to. Yes, anybody can convert if they so desire and once their conversion is verified and approved, they can come and settle here. Yes, we have ppl from all corners of the earth, Indians, Asians, Africans, etc. Plus there are lots of non Jews living here too, 20% of Israelis are muslims. I don't see what your problem is. In the US, there are millions who came from elsewhere, they don't even speak English, yet they're allowed to come. Same in Europe, there are tons of Muslims and others, how come they can? The British PM is not a Brit, city mayors are not Brits, and nobody seems to mind. Why is everybody obsessed w/Israel? Not sure I understand.
1
-
@body2811 No, we won't let non Jews overrun us, sorry. The mission of Israel is to be a state for the Jews, not an international zone. That's how it was conceived and continues to be. And if any Jews, be them from India, Asia, Russia, Europe etc want to come and settle here, they're welcome. Nobody is forced, it's totally voluntary. Non Jewish family members can certainly come along, we won't turn them away, and other exceptions are made sometimes too. But not in overwhelming numbers. I am happy to hear that you think that non Israeli Jews must stay in their countries of origin and not come although for some reason, you don't provide for the same for Arabs or others. Those can settle wherever and overrun the locals. This is a great and fair disposition.

@body2811 The Balfour declaration had no meaning or substance. It was just a piece of paper that actually promised the Jews a large portion of then-Palestine which was never given. The Jewish population has increased just like the Arab population and other populations in the world through birth rate and immigration. It's the same today too, wonder why it doesn't bother you, only the Jewish population does, but it's your choice and I am not gonna argue. The land was purchased and good money paid, all the purchases were voluntarily, most from absentee land owners who lived elsewhere and didn't need the land anyway but they certainly wanted the money. They didn't have to sell if they didn't want to. The Brits trained the Jordanian Arab Legion and became their commanding officers and equipped them and other Arabs w/weaponry. I've never heard that they trained the Haganah, but if they did, it was their choice, so take it up w/them. Jerusalem was never attacked by the Jews, it was defended against the Arab Legion and eventually fell when the defenders were down to 35 men and had to surrender and go into Jordanian captivity. The King David bombing has nothing to do w/anything, it was pre-state, you're mixing up facts, dates and events. Take care.

@season306 I think I said "or describe the geographic location of that country", so plz describe. 1. which countries does it border (to the east, west, north and south). 2. which geographics surround it, like rivers, deserts, sea, etc. 3. what's the capital city of this country. 4. what kind of gov does it have, like republic, monarchy, parliamentary democracy, etc. 5. who is the leader and what's their name. 6. when/what year was this country founded and who was its first leader/founder. Unless you come up w/the answers, your post is no more than trash, Thank you.

Sure Biden was a great friend of Israel who stopped weapon shipments to which he'd agreed, thus abrogating the agreement he'd made, who promised Hama$ in the name of Israel survival and victory, who labored unceasingly to create a terror state inside of Israel so it can be eradicated from within, who prohibited Israel to fight back after Oct 7 or retaliate against Hisbola that's terrorized the country for 9 months or against Yemen, and who allowed Iran to go nuclear. Trump, being Israel's biggest foe, moved the capital to Jerusalem, recognized the Golan annexation, forged the Abraham accords, provided weapons and assistance, froze Iran's assets, etc. A backstabber, no less.

@nickmoore7598 Nice narrative but fake. Israel is not a colony or a tribal entity. Whose colony is it? Who is the mother country? When was it colonized?
Israel never cared much about the PR, nor did it spend lots of money on it. Ant-sem-itism, which is currently called an-ti-Isral-ism has never gone away nor will it, and thus it's useless to fight it. The protocols of the Zion Elders are still in print and ppl believe it, so let them have fun.
Not sure what you mean by the "reactionary/tribal" win. Where are those tribes. What are their names? Israel is a parliamentary democracy, like most European countries, so I guess then Europe is tribal, too, but that's ok, I don't mind. The security was breached, not lost, restored on the same day, Oct 7, the fence is back up and Hama$ is beaten. now Gaza is sieged, all exits blocked,, fully controlled. No diplomatic relations have been lost, the embassies are here and functioning, except a couple which we expelled for their "recognition of the non existent Pali state", but they'll come back once they've retracted it, b/c the benefits outweigh the posturing. and if not, good riddance. Of course, our army is no more than a tribal group w/guns, but not sure why the US holds on to it for dear life and jumps up and down w/jealousy. are they tribal too? The pagers weren't made in Israel, they were made in Asia, so if they don't want to trade w/Asia, it's their choice. Hi tech co's are all here, nobody's left and tons of start ups including military, gov contracted, are booming regardless of the war. You clearly are not in Israel, and the info you get is from the likes of Aljazeera, but suit yourself. Not one real fact has been provided so far. Just idle elaboration. Maybe you can publish it as an afterword to the protocols of the Zion Elders.

@nickmoore7598 None of those claims were reported in Israel's news, sorry. They could've been reported by other outlets which could make fake references, their claims remaining just that, claims w/no substance. Calling the Israeli society tribal and our army tribal retrogrades w/guns certainly doesn't come from anywhere in Israel.. I read our news daily, sorry to upset. I also don't know what you mean by "even if true.." it's either true or not, there is no "even if". And no, I am not gonna copy and paste or rephrase anything, my post is civil , and well worded, and if youtube is not allowing you to see it, or your device is restricted, i can only say sorry.

@tahaabdurashidov9339 Any purchase, be it a parcel of land, a car, a house, anything, is final once it's complete, the asking price is paid, and the bill of sale is signed. The new owner takes ownership and the old one has no more claims. I don't know how it works in your country, can't speak for that, but that's how it works in the US and Israel. Musk can certainly buy land in the US provided it's for sale and build on it if he obtains a building permit. I don't believe he'd be able to set up a new gov on that land, that's from the realm of fantasy and doesn't constitute an argument, but it's his land after the purchase. TY

@MakeApartheidGreatAgain I don't know about Mandela, I am not from SA and not interested in that part of the world, sorry. Regarding your conspiracy theory about Israel killing its own ppl, I am not finding any plausible reason for them to do so and the info that I have suggests the opposite. The army defended them, not killed, and some soldiers were killed by Hamas. Also, Israel doesn't have Apaches, those are American helis, and the US is not selling them to Israel. Additionally, I have hard time explaining how helicopters can behead ppl, burn them, mutilate them and rape their womenfolk. Well, I guess Apaches can do everything. Thank you

Prottoy7111 Like I said, I don't know where he/she was, I am not personally familiar w/them and can't ask. The ppl who perished are getting reparations from Germany, and that has nothing to do w/Israel as a state. Germany is not paying the State, it pays the affected individuals, who live or lived everywhere in the world. I don't know who claims they were always Israelis if they and their ancestors lived in different European countries for generations. In Poland, for instance, there was a Jewish community for 800 years before WW2. What ppl may argue is that ancient Israelites/Hebrews lived in the land millennia ago, which is proven by various artifacts and architecture, and that not every single one was exiled, and those have lived there since then. But in the middle of the 19th century, Jews from elsewhere in the world began to come as well, and together they created the Yeshuv, based on which the modern state of Israel was set up. Thank you.

@jamesj8423 Yes, Sir, I do have sources. The Israeli sites report (and show) surrendering terrorists, weapons laid down, interrogations reveal info that they have no more weapons, the IDF recovers massive amount of weapons in the tunnels, tunnels are being flooded and sealed. 200 surrendered in Khan Yunis in one day, and that defense line collapsed. No, they don't have as many ppl in their units as a reg army does. And they're trained mostly in killing civilians in their beds and taking advantage of their womenfolk, and putting their babies in ovens. Once the army arrived, (late unfortunately), it was over within hours. I am sorry but it looks like many vids put out by pro-Arab sites are not real footages, they're montages, compilations of stills, w/voice overs, no more. No interviews w/commanders, no real action shown, pretty fake, sorry to say. No, they don't have rockets any longer. They're not shooting them into Israel anymore. Their funds seem to be gone also, at least depleted, the army confiscating millions in cash from the tunnels also. It's all available online if you care to check. Thank you.

@truebeliever786 I am sorry you're quoting Benny Morris. He's a revisionist. His job is to besmirch us any way he can. Apparently, he's well paid for so doing along w/other so called figures of intellectual importance like Grossman, Peled and the like. In the US, a "historian" like him would stand trial but in Israel everything goes. I read his book, it's totally fake, he couldn't even muster credible photos, let alone doc's. Reminds me of the fake vids the Arabs are putting out now, same approach. nothing new. But even if it were true, those plans never saw the light of day anyway. When the state come into being, the same Ben Gurion ordered local commanders to urge the Arabs to stay and build the country together. Those who did are now Israeli citizens, others made their choice. Thank you

@agulha1968 OK, thanks for posting. I am not Polish, so I wouldn't know all the details, but yes, apparently, there were Jews who weren't fully assimilated. But I guess your point is that after WW2, some stayed in Poland and decided to forgo their heritage. That's fine, it's their choice. I am guessing b/c Poland fell under Stalin's red terror, it made it harder for them to stay Jewish, not only b/c the Poles themselves were very hostile but also the gov that was controlled by Stalin and subsequent Russian leaders. many Polish Jews came to Israel, some to the US, Canada, etc, where they remained Jews. Poland sustained the biggest loss of Jewish life, 3 million, but if there were ppl who still wanted to stay and renounce their identities, again it was their choice.

@aswintobing 20+ hostages are killed by Hamas in captivity per Israel's estimate. Add to it the unimaginable torture of the others, branding of children, sexual assaults on females, starvation, lack of sleep, constant phycological war, including that on the minors, horrible hygiene (wounded not receiving even bandages), operating on Mia Shem and Maya Regev w/o sedation, the list can go on. Medieval? No, stone age.

@_ace786 You're a powerful medium, knowing what's not there, I admire you. Yet you don't seem to know the first thing about our army, but that's ok, even mediums make mistakes. There is no army that's stationed in the north at all. Hisbolla target empty areas which is not a good thing, either, but that's the case. They have no capacity to reach any army base, and their projectiles are intercepted by the Iron Dome. The troops in Gaza are minimal b/c 1. Gaza is tiny (I hope you know that the medium you are) and 2. the war is waged from the air, using bunker buster bombs and other munitions. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee precision in densely populated areas where ppl are willingly serve as Hama$ body armor and thus they get killed. It's their choice, though. You can call it gencide if you wish, everybody has a right for an opinion. The West Bank is Israel, nobody is occupied there, and our army is stationed there as usual. Not a third of it by a long way. A third wouldn't fit in the area. The troops are nowhere near stretched. New ppl come every day, flights are full, ppl sit in the aisles. The orthodox draft has been under consideration for years and now it's been enacted, but those ppl don't actually serve in the army per se. It'll take time to train them since they're not very physically strong or adapt. Thanks for posting.

Dear Mr. Levy, thank you a million for telling the truth to the world. There is so much misinformation and plain lies on the internet and youtube these days, it's just unbelievable, fake journos and anchors spewing lies about Israel and the IDF, denying the fact that the massacre even occurred and/or blaming the IDF for killing its own countrymen and blowing up their houses w/tank rounds. Some go even as far as saying that the Hannibal directive was invoked on that day. Worse still, thousands of viewers believe them, praise Hamas and vilify our great country. You and other representatives of Israel, like Mark Regev, Tsippi Hotovely and more are true beams of light shining onto the dark world. With people like you, our army, and all Israelis, our country will never be defeated by any force! Am Yisrael Chai!

@shanarchy614 Not sure what you mean, You said "my point is that you just can't be indigenous to the land and be able to live there" and then you said, "you don't come from that part of the world, yet you claim it as your homeland". Well, many ppl immigrate and live in countries where they were not even born, whose language they barely speak or not at all, yet they live there, so how come we can't? How come we can't have immigration? How are we different? 2. No, I personally don't come from the Middle East, I am from Europe originally, and I don't call Israel my homeland. My homeland is Russia, where I don't live anymore, my country of citizenship is the USA, and I don't remember saying anything different. Jews may claim Israel as their collective homeland being that it's their ancestral homeland, but I personally never said that. Thank you

@ Sure, no problem. Egypt did occupy Gaza militarily in 1948, I am not sure whom the UN partition vote awarded this land to, the Jews or the Arabs, I would think prolly the Arabs. The Arabs had no army except for a bunch of irregulars which was just a wild, unorganized group and thus it was easy for Egypt to just grab the land. The populace was absorbed and became their citizens. So w/this, I'd say Egypt owned the land at that point although your point is well taken. The Brits wouldn't get it back b/c they never owned it, they were just temporary UN appointed custodians whose commission expired in 1948 and they fully evac. In 1967, Israel took it but never annexed and between then and 2005, it was considered Israeli occupied. In 2005, it was ceded 100% to the Arabs and became their proto state w/the PA first and then Hamas at the helm. Though the Arabs did reject a state more than once, Gaza was still their de facto state. Now, after Oct 7, it's no more, and their fate will be decided once Hama$ is out and the populace resettled.

@yashmin786 We will. Yes, dear court, we're doing everything, see? Come on down to Gaza and take a look, OK? Go take a walk in a terror dungeon where our hostages are being abused every day. It's easy to rule from the comfort of your chamber, you guys. But I can bet you, none of those so called judges will ever set foot in Gaza or a comparable place, and therefore, their judgment, whatever it might be, is worth nil. Nobody is going to obey.

The woman is insane. First, nobody killed 30K ppl, The stats comes from Hama$ and was refuted even by the UN. It's 25K tops including Hama$ members. 2. Those ppl are not innocent, they help and support Hama$, their gov for which they voted. They provide their homes , schools, etc for them to operate from and thus become legit target, like the man said. 3. They started the war, they're the aggressors. They killed over 1,200 of our ppl and maimed countless others, plus took 250 hostages which is a war crime. The woman is just hysterical and really has nothing to parry him with. Sorry it happened

@dentonbrown6836 Land is supposedly eternal, you're right about that. It's populations that come and go. That's how nations are formed and dissolved, languages get replaced, etc. Look at the US/Canada, for instance. The land was originally settled by the native Americans or American Indians, as they were once known. Now the natives are confined to the reservations and different ppl populate the land. The same w/South and Central America, Australia, etc. The great empires of the past, such as Roman, Ottoman, etc are gone. Now look at Europe. White Europeans, mostly Christians and Catholics, are losing ground to the Muslims in a quick hurry. I guess it's historic processes that we have little control over.
1
-
@dentonbrown6836 Global peace would be a great thing, no doubt. Nations will prosper, ppl will be happy. Their creativity would be channeled towards new inventions, edu, healthcare, arts, sciences, etc. rather than towards the development of even more destructive and lethal weaponry. Of course, aggression and land grabs should stop, but will they? It seems like the way things are going, I am not overly optimistic. What is that big thing that you think is going to happen?

@MrEight8190 When I said "us", I meant us,the Israelis. Israelites actually means ancient Hebrews, not modern Israelis. Anyway, the reason I am against the US aid is b/c it comes w/many tight strings attached to it. and that's what I resent. It's not bona fide assistance, it's a way to put us in bondage and make us beholden to the US, particularly this current admin. The money is supposed to be paid back to the US to buy weapons and they (US) are in command as to whether or not to sell, what to sell and when. We're capable of developing our own weapons and sell them too, but bound by this agreement, we can't, thus losing money, jobs, expertise and independence. Of course, it's not onl y the fault of the US. They're upholding their interests, it's our gov that must stand strong and stop being as corrupt as it is, or was, and put a decisive end to this so-called help. Thank you

I am not sure why this argument about who lived where thousands of years ago is so important. I personally don't know, nor do I really care. It's who lives there now, today, that's what matters. English speaking Americans didn't live in America thousands of years ago, yet they're there now. Spaniards didn't live in Latin America before Columbus, Anglos didn't live in Australia, etc, but they all live there now. Ppl migrate, lands change hands, countries rise and fall, and what? Do they want to come and uproot the Americans b/c they didn't live there millennia ago? Good luck w/that. Good luck w/Israel too.

@rudax1959 You can't be serious, Sir/Ma'am. Israel is not responsible for the Arabs? Israel provides every last thing for them, water, power, food, money, medical, you name it. That's why they don't want their own state. They know that they'll collapse once Israel withdraws all the support. Moreover, Israel provides military protection. W/o Israel, they would be long gone. Egypt, Jordan, and Syria would be there, not them. Don't you understand that? Thank you

@ChristianJay7 Israel has a state b/c it wanted a state and abided by the UN partition resolution, while the Arabs did not instead going to war w/us w/the hopes to wipe us out. Tough luck, they lost. In 1967, they repeated their attempt, tough luck, they lost. The aggressor pays for their aggression and land is part of the pay. And no, there will be no pali state for more reason than one. They never wanted a state in the first place, rejecting an offer after an offer for decades, and we've run out of options. Regarding who's native to the land, 1. Jews have lived in Canaan for 3K years, I hope that's long enough. Thanks for posting

@shanti888 I don't know what's on her mind, either, but I can tell you what's on my mind if you care to listen. We didn't ask for this war, we didn't ask for Oct 7 when 1,200 of our ppl were killed, mostly civilians, killed brutally, mutilated, burned, women/girls taken advantage of while their families forced to watch it, baby put in oven, fetus cut out of woman's belly, man beheaded and his head taken to Gaza, stored in a fridge for a possible sale for 10K, plus 240 taken hostage, of whom 30 are killed now too and 20+ presumed the same. Is there another solution? Thank you.

@Fireglo I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I was really, really surprised that Trump lost then. He seemed to have been very popular. It's hard for me to say whether or not they cheated and if they did, how exactly. But due to Covid, many voted by mail, myself including, and maybe those mail-in ballots were somehow manipulated, but again, I can't prove anything. This time, from what I know, most ppl voted in person, and the repubs dispatched lawyers to supervise the counts.

I like this man, really. Never met him in person but he's great nonetheless. I feel like shaking his hand if he allowed me to touch him, but maybe not. not his faith, dir00ty. "If Israel doesn't l-ike them, they should be ..." ( i can't spell out this word, youtube will delete it, only the privileged are allowed). 38 Israeli kids were thus handled, several including a baby abducted. the baby's fate or his brother's is unknown. Or their parents. Numbers are a great thing, they must be proportionate, that's basic math. 2K of US navy personnel on Dec 7, 1941, at Pearl Harbor. 3 million Japanese, mostly civilians including kids, by 1945. That's proportionality for you.

@LemurParade I appreciate your detailed post, and it's possible that some ppl were treated better than others depending on where they ended up w/their captors. Other testimonies that I heard/read were horrible. Both males and females reported se-xu-al harassment and even actual violation and that included at least one male. His name was not revealed, only his account. At least one woman's name was revealed; others were just reported violated. And that's outside of plain cruelty, like chaining Andrey Kozlov to the wall for days, operating on Mia Shem by vet and w/o sedation, the same goes for Mira Regev. A 13- year boy was branded w/hot iron so he would be caught if he escaped. That aside, this particular girl's interviews are also conflicting which suggests doctoring or plain fakery. She said she played arm wrestling w/them, then she said they didn't touch her b/c she was a young girl, ,so is it arm wrestling or not touching? besides, Hama $ ordered all released hostages to speak well of them under pain of killing the remaining ones.

@jayrwickerman If we controlled their movement, there wouldn't have been smuggling of weapons, tunnel building, training of the terrorists in Iran, Malaysia, Syria, etc, their going back and forth to those countries,.. no shipments of Russian tunnel linings to Gaza, no shipments of cement. Ppl moved freely anywhere they wanted. Israelis were not allowed to set foot there while providing every last thing for them, from utilities, to money, food, medical etc. I am sorry you disagree but these are the facts.

@수은-i5w Palestine is not a state of Israel. Israel is Israel, that's what it's called. Palestine was a territory under different rulers over the centuries , the last one being the UK. Their mandate expired in May 1948, and Israel proclaimed independence. The Arabs, who could've done the same and called their state whatever they wanted, maybe Palestine maybe another name, I can't speak for them, didn't do it and decided instead to go to war w/Israel w/the hopes to win and shove the Jews into the sea, thus gaining the entire land for themselves. They lost. The areas of Yehuda/Shomron fell to Jordan, thus becoming Jordan. In 1967, they were liberated by our army and fell to us. The name Palestine came back into use then b/c it was no longer Jordan. Gaza continued being Gaza. There is more to it but I have no room here to elaborate. in the 1990s, the area was ceded to us by Jordan officially. Hussein dropped all the claims to it. It's our land now. The name palestine is still used by some, others call it Yesha, or the West Bank or Judea/Samaria, (Yehuda/Shomron)

@수은-i5w If they can't return, it's only b/c Hamas rules this way. Israel has no jurisdiction over their movement. They have ID's and passports and Hamas is in charge of their travels. If it doesn't let them come back, it's Hamas' decision. If they want to come to Israel, yes, they have to go through checkpoints b/c they bring in terrorism and we don't want to see our buses blown up, ppl stabbed or shot, or their vehicles rammed into crowds. We saw enough of those for many years. I know it's a very illegit wish, probably even immoral, so you can call us whatever you want but the fact remains. Plus we're not obligated to allow them any entry to Israel, they're an independent country and don't allow us to come to them. I don't know about the destruction of their fields, I am not sure they have fields to be destroyed, b/c work is a dirty word in their lexicon. They live off Israel's provisions and the UN handouts. On Oct 7 it was not just the festival, they attacked our border kibbutzim and towns and military bases, total 1,200 killed, including 38 kids/babies, 240 taken hostage, 70 of whom are presumed dead by now. I don't know if our intel knew or not, indications are yes they did or at least suspected. they didn't do anything to prevent it on that day ( as I said before, we couldn't intervene in the independent state's affairs), and there will a commission of inquiry to look into it and apparently the intel will have to answer.

@수은-i5w That's OK, Sir/Ma'am. If you want to say abandon, say abandon. The UN could support whatever they want, they're very hostile to us, they're dominated by Arab/Muslim countries which are also hostile and therefore their opinions are very predictable. I am sorry I don't remember who are "some" and "very few", I can't find my previous post, there are too many. If you could remind me, ok, if not, fine too. The settlement in Judea/Samaria are legal, the land was won in a defensive war and belongs to the victor plus ceded by Jordan anyway. That territory was initially given to the Arabs but Jordan took it by force, and that was very legal of course. Wonder why the UN didn't do anything about that. How about their 2 state idea in this case? Suddenly gone? Additionally, we tried at least 4 times to set up a state for the Arabs, they refused. What else can we do? Shove a state on them that they don't want? Gaza was given to them as a state and look what happened. Not much else we can do. We need to defend ourselves from the horrors that were inflicted on us and make sure it won't happen again. Not sure any country would take this atrocity lying down. The US certainly did not. Thank you

@수은-i5w I meant the word Palestine is used by some in Israel, not in the world. In the world, they do use "Palestine". I know that the UN supports a 2 state solution that emanates from the partition vote. the intention, however, never saw the light of day b/c the Arabs went to war which they lost. It's highly unlikely now that the 2 state solution will come through also and there are reasons for that. regarding Jordan's dropping its claim to the land, I need to check and see what specifically the agreement stipulates but from what i know they dropped their claim to the land, which by they way they grabbed in 1948 illegally, the very land that the UN allocated for the pali state and I am pretty sure they'd keep it today if he hadn't wrestled it back in 1967. Our annexation of the land could be considered illegal by the world, except it won't prevent us from annexing it anyway, just like we annexed the Golan and Jerusalem. The arabs refused their own state 4 times, not much else we can do. In The UN pali has is an observer seat, no voting right. Vatican has one too and other entities I believe. I don't know what's going on in Russia/Ukraine, sorry, can't comment on that.

@Simon.the.Likeable Yes, it's a war just like the US vs AlQaida (sp?). Regulars can fight armed terrorists, once there are arms involved, it's a war. Surely our army is superior in terms of skills, training, weaponry and the like, but we didn't ask for Oct 7, didn't ask for the war, and now they're reaping their grim harvest, sorry you don't like it. No, they don't hate us for no reason. There is a reason, it's b/c we're Jews, like the Nazis. Did the German Jews wrong the Nazis in any way? They were the most assimilated group in Europe, lived in cities, were in professions, loved their country, etc. Did they start it? No, the Germans did.

@miguelroger6647 I am sorry for assuming you're American. You posted in English and it's a US based site. Now I know you're from Spain, thank you. Also sorry for my extreme stupidity and the absence of cogent arguments on your part that prompted you to resort to ad hominem attacks. Israel was established in 1948 and was recognized as an independent Jewish State by the UN and the rest of the world, excluding the Arabs. The land was partitioned by the UN decision made in 1947. The Arabs had an ample opportunity to create their own state which they forwent. They forwent at least 4 other offers made to them. They chose their destiny. Israel stole no land from anybody. Initially land was purchased from absentee land owners who lived in other countries and sold their deeds. When Israel came into being in 1948, the Arabs were encouraged to stay and whoever decided to stay are now rightful citizens. Whoever decided to leave at that time made their choice. The occupation and land theft are myths that are perpetuated by the hostile media but you're free to believe what you want to . I would not label you uneducated or anything else for your beliefs. Sorry, I don't throw out ad hominem. The situation today has been prompted by the Hamas invasion of Israel on Oct 7 that killed 1,200 of our ppl, injured countless others, tortured, raped and mutilated, and took 240 hostages of whom they're still holding 133 of whom half is believed killed by now. Gaza is an independent state over which Israel has no jurisdiction and can't even go there. They decided to attack, well, they made their choice also. We rose for our defense just like any other county would do against an aggressor. Thank you

@HOGH22 Think what you may, the intent was to create a country for Jews w/o harming any locals, no deceit was intended, the deeds were honest, but you can interpret it however it suits your personal agenda, your agenda doesn't change the reality. Land owners sold those lands to Jews, they knew their buyers, how was it a deceit, but guessing anything can be twisted, so suit yourself. All the land purchased by 1948 was purchased honestly, nobody was expelled or killed, unlike the Jews who were constantly targeted by local Arabs and the Brits turned a blind eye. In 1947, a state was offered to the Arabs but refused. In 1948, they were urged to stay and build the country together and refused. They were offered a state 4 times since and refused. Nothing else we can do for them. Call it whatever you want, the State will live on and prosper, yes, millions have since come and there will be more, all the lands of the Holy Land are ours. Sorry it upsets you, take care.

@proabdellah If you don't want Israel to offer them a state, no problem, we won't offer them a state, which we really won't. They've exhausted our good will. 4 offers refused, then the intifadas, then Oct 7. Our patience has run out on them. sorry. Hama$ won't be dismantled voluntarily or by any court order. It will only be killed by the IDF., physically. The IDF is our army, and like every country, we maintain an army and that will not change. We need to defend ourselves from the vicious enemies. I don't know where you live but I am pretty sure your country has an army too. Should it be disbanded also? A 2 state solution won't see the light of day b/c the Arabs don't want 2 states They had ample chances to create a state but refused. Nothing else can be done for them. As I said, they refused 4 offers, they went to war instead of suing for peace, and we're done w/that. Thank you.

@robmckenzie2538 The UK was not eligible to vote on the partition being the custodian power, that's why they abstained, but that doesn't matter, they're only 1 vote and wouldn't have tipped the balance. 33 yea, 13 nay, 10 present. your only one vote majority is math from the moon. And then, the UK didn't have to recognize Israel once it was a state, yet they did and established a full fledged relationship that's been unbroken since, including weapon sales, most notably the Centurion tanks. A true disaster, but no going back. History can't be rewritten,

@badseedzontop5687 Sir/Ma'am, the British mandate expired, it's not that they suddenly decided to turn it over to the UN,, it was set to expire and they were set to withdraw. The UN didn't agree for the Jews to settle there; the UN had no authority to do it. Ppl move and settle w/o asking the UN's permission. There has been Jewish presence here since the biblical time. There were 2 diasporas but not every single person left. Secondly, the Jewish enterprise in Palestine started in the -end of the 19th century before the UN was in existence. appox 1880s. That's when neighboring Arabs started to come as well attracted by the jobs and services that the Jews provided. By the time of the state, 1948, there were 600K Jews living here. I don't know how many Arabs. What the UN did before the mandate expired was partition the land w/the idea in mind to create 2 states, w/the Arabs getting more and better land than the Jews. The partition was accepted by the Jews and the statehood declared. May 1948. The arabs instead of proclaiming their own state, went to war w/the Jewish state, sieged Jerusalem where 1/6 of the Jews lived at the time, cut it from the main body of the country thus hoping to dismember the state, strangle the capital and push the Jews out. Tough, they lost. That's the story in a nutshell. Thank you

@khaledj.9985 Totally agree, what goes around comes around. You saw it coming, guys. Killing 1,200 of ours and taking 240 others hostage w/the kind of brutality that everybody thought was relegated to the Middle Ages, nay, the Stone Age, what did you expect? And given that we provided every last thing for you, money, jobs, utilities, medical, etc. What did you expect? That we'd extend tender loving mercies to you? Forgive and forget? Our military is one of the strongest, best trained and best equipped in the world. There will be no forgive and forget, sorry. Until complete and final victory.

@michaelohara49 Whoever lived through the holocaust, I can only say sorry for them but their opinions are no better than anybody else's. It's just that, opinions. You 'are not seeing anything that Israel is doing, you're not in Israel, not in Gaza, you're relying on the vicious anti Israel propaganda that has no credibility and is based on fake news, paid actors impersonating ppl, including kids, but if you prefer to take it in, it's your choice just as it's your choice to throw the word apartheid all over the place. If you were to set foot in Israel even once, you'd see that we're living together w/all other religions/ethnicities and they're all rightful citizens. Israel was set up as a Jewish state yet we welcome others just as much and the Arabs constitute 20% of our populace and are very well off, to say that least. No, there is no genocide now. The #'s that Hamas provides are fake as well and the apparent reason for that is to elicit sympathy from the ignorant. A genocidal attempt was made on Oct 7 when 1,200 of our innocents were killed w/medieval barbarity, kids/babies burned alive, females violated, and 240 others kidnapped of whom presumably 50 killed by now. I am sorry it bothers you that Israel rose to its defense, that the nation came together united as always when facing a common vicious enemy, and given that we're a superior nation, that's what they're getting for their aggression. They saw it coming. Thank you

@grahampaice6914 If you can tell me specifically how, where, when, this aggression/occupation took place, I'd appreciate it. I'd like to see specific events, dates, participants, etc. Israel was founded in May 1948 within the allocated boundaries of the UN partition vote in Nov 1947 demarcating its territory, so 70 years just doesn't compute mathematically. War of Independence ended in 1949; 6-day war 1967 (added lands of Yehuda/Shomron, Gaza, Golan Heights), Yom Kippur war 1973 (no territorial changes), 1980s--Golan annexed to Israel, Sinai ceded to Egypt, 1990s--Hussein cedes Yehuda/Shomron to Israel), withdrawal from Gaza 2005. 70 years??

This is truly crazy, Yair. We can't afford it, sorry. We can't afford to risk our guys' lives to save the enemies. The world will never appreciate it. You should see, which I am sure you do, what they say about us no matter what we do. This episode won't make any headlines, believe me, and they'll continue holding us for merciless occupiers, etc . Plus, no doubt in my mind that they wouldn't spare us, kids, women, no matter, if they had a chance. They demonstrated it amply on Oct 7.

@nj1638 I may think twice or thrice but it won't change anything. Of course Palis fake their injuries, their hunger, the numbers of their dead, like 100K killed in Gaza according to Abdalla, then somehow the count went down to 30K, apparently 70K came back to life, and the list can go on. Also like the phrase "it's been revealed". who "revealed", when, how, doesn't matter-- "revealed" does the job. Anyway, bye bye Aljazeera and don't come back.

Whoever gave away the land did it not b/c they had a European mindset, not b/c they wanted to belong, not b/c they didn't understand the Middle East. No country in their right mind would give away land voluntarily. Look at Russia, it's a huge country, tons of land. Is it giving away an inch? It's only grabbing more. The US, China, Canada, are they giving away anything? Whoever gave away the land of Israel did for one thing, m-o-n-e-y. Begin, Rabin, Peretz, Sharon, Lapid, and their ilk, they all got a big payday. And now they can talk up a storm about mentality and other such junk.

@PeterStone-ch9dw He's an absolute con, and Trump knows it. I think, maybe not true, though, that the Biden family had some dealings w/him or his minions, and thus they paid him, and of course, he wanted the dems in office. When Trump was elected, before the swearing in, he ran to him w/his tail you know where, trying to mend the fences, I guess

@ArthurB26 OK, think what you may, it doesn't change the reality. The external leaders are not diplomats, they have no country to represent. They're money grubbers. If you want to believe they didn't know, whatever. Yes, the intel knew also, except that they didn't do a thing. They let the festival go, didn't warn the kibbutzim, etc. Sinwar has no control over anything now, he has no army and nobody to command. His legions are gone. His villa is destroyed and he lives in tunnels and communicates through runners who get intercepted and spill intel as they should. Gaza is sealed, no exits, and the only reason he's still alive is b/c he's surrounded by hostages, Israeli and his own.

@colinbrown7305 I would debate w/you what's absurd and what not if you were Israeli and actually saw the facts on the ground that you're trying to dispute. It seems that you've never even been in Israel, never seen Gaza or any other part of the country. You can only suppose, you can apply your logic, and I repeat your logic, and conclude that what she's saying is absurd. Once you go there and see for yourself, you'll know it's far from absurd. Tunnels have been in Israel for centuries, some were built by ancient Romans, they're in many parts of the country, not only in Gaza. Some are tourist attractions,, esp. those in Jerusalem. Hamas built new ones, it took them many years and they killed the workers who built them so they wouldn't get word out. She said houses and businesses have access to the tunnels, she didn't say there are tunnels under them, although there are also tunnels under them, but access doesn't always mean an underground access or direct access. I suggest you go there and see. It's hard to imagine sitting in your living room in New York or wherever you are in the States or England b/c what you see on TV is a very selective picture. Thank you.

@colinbrown7305 I see no contradiction. I see provocative questions of the anchor who should be impartial but who is not. Access to tunnels doesn't indicate tunnels themselves. Accesses can be from different points. It could also be just the knowledge. You can flatten the buildings but the tunnels are underground and could be spared. "What else can we do?" is not w/regards to bombing. It's w/regards to the approach to the situation whereby Israel was forced to respond to the atrocities that happened in Oct. I don't know if you're aware of those, if not, there is info available. Yes, Israel is using precision bombs to target the Hamas infrastructure, including the tunnels. It 's not bombing civilian buildings even though Hamas has embedded itself in those and uses women and kids as shields, which mostly they don't object. Civilian buildings are largely intact, though some damaged, and ppl are coming back to repopulate them. Israel continues to provide everything: water, food, meds, utilities, etc. just like it has always done. So no, she's not lying or contradicting herself.

@scepticsquirrel Apparently the Gaza experiment went awry. Of course, after taking power Hama$ turned the land into a launchpad of war, and b/c Sharon, in his senility or corruption, relinquished control, there was nothing we could do to stop it. And it happened precisely b/c the land was no longer under our control. W/the land being in our possession, we can implement policies that would serve our interests w/o any international involvement, and that would include facilitating emigration of those who are unwilling to live in peace w/us or simply wanting to leave for other reasons. It's harder in mixed towns, you're right about that, b/c those ppl are citizens, but those from the Administered Zones would have to apply for a citizenship if such an option were to be given, and their applications could be denied.

@TheRazitube I hope you know the definition of a nation before asserting that something like that existed in Palestine before Israel. There were ppl living there, Arabs, Jews and others but they by no means constituted a nation. The last custodian of the land was the UK whose mandate expired in May 1948, after which they evac and the Yeshuv declared statehood. The UK didn't give any land to Israel b/c they owned no land and thus couldn't give it. They were UN appointed custodians, that's all. The Yeshuv paid nothing to nobody except for land purchases, but those were not sold by the UK. simply b/c they didn't own any. The French had nothing to do w/anything, they weren't the mandatory power and had no relationship w/the Yeshuv. The UN didn't recognize Israel ; the UN has no authority to recognize any country at all; it's not their job. Also, I don't believe the same country could be a colony and an occupier at the same time, that's an oxymoron, and I am not sure what you mean by the gencide of the Palestinians, who committed that and when. The land allocated to the Arabs by the UN was gobbled up by Jordan and Egypt in 1948-49, but that doesn't constitute gencide even if some ppl might've been killed in the process. TY
1
-
@TheRazitube Right, the UK was in no position to decide on the territorial changes, nor did it do it. It awarded no land to the Jews or the Arabs. They governed Palestine in its defined borders that didn't include any other countries such as Egypt et al. They were in no position to sell any land to anybody either, nor did they. All the land purchases were made before the Brits even set foot there; they were made under the Ottomans who possessed the land (not governed but owned) for centuries, and they have no problem w/the Jews buying land. It was perfectly legal under their rule and it was thus done. The land was dirt cheap then, owned mostly by absentee landlords, and not much money was needed to buy. The "Buy Back the Land of Israel" project was funded by many ppl including some of the richest and lasted for many decades, and money was not a problem. The Brits didn't arm the Yeshuv, they armed and trained the Arabs and became their top officers, most notably those of the Jordanian Arab Legion. In 1948-49, during the war of Independence, the Legionnaires occupied the West Bank, that was allocated to the Arabs by the partition vote and the Egyptians did the same w/Gaza. Thus Palestine was dismembered by the Arabs themselves and never saw an Arab state. The decision was theirs and the consequences are theirs to reap. The UK never kicked out any Jews at any point in modern history and the Balfour Declaration was a non-existent document.

@snakey934Snakeybakey I am sorry you're offended, I certainly didn't mean to offend anybody, and you're right that being a Canadian or any other citizen, he can go back to his country, but then of course, Israelis can emigrate too which happens as well. I never said he was a bad person, but I believe being an Arab lover and hoping for peace w/them speaks volumes about the lack of understanding of the situation. Sadly, most of the Oct 7 victims, esp. kibbutz members, were Arab lovers and leftists who hired Gaza arabs for work and paid them fairy, while they were collecting intel on them to pass to Hama$ and the murderers knew exactly where those ppl live and how to get to their homes. I don't know if this is specifically the Ashkenazi who are that way, I am Ashkenazi too of Russian extraction but I am on the opposite end. My thought it the only way to peace here is the emigration of the Arabs out of Eretz.

@GhoulJaron I am sorry to upset you but the vids you might've seen are fake. We don't have unidentifiable bodies, certainly not of the soldiers, be they mercenaries or Israelis. We even managed to identify bodies burned beyond recognition on Oct 7 by forensic methods. It has never happened in Israel that the public was asked to identify a body. Like I said, if there is no recognizable face, we use forensic methods. No, I can't identify this person for you b/c this person doesn't exist. There are no credible videos made by Hama$ b/c Hama$ can't do that. Those vids, if exist, are fake and made outside of Gaza. Our soldiers don't go into tunnels if there are terrorists in them. It's obvious they would've been killed, so those tunnels are simply bombed to non-existence and survivors surrender w/o a fight. As I've mentioned before, it's an aerial war in most cases and not one plane has been lost. One tank commander has been reported killed and that's the casualty count in the armored corps. The infantry reports 300 dead by now and the count is unlikely to go up b/c the action is pretty much over, Hama$ is decimated. Yes, every photo and name is published. We don't have the concept is an unknown soldier, thank you.

@msimon6808 Look, I don't know how wiki knows that. i personally don't trust them; they get things wrong that I know for sure. For instance, they call Palestine a country/state. Enough said. But anyway, as I said before, they might've had production lines, it's possible, but those were not their own, they were Russian, and the expertise came from Russia. All the developments were centered in Russia, specifically Moscow. They prolly had local engineers, for plants can't function w/o those, i am guessing, like maintenance etc. That's the point of having an empire, which is what Russia was. Ukr did have a few universities which turned out graduates who prolly were somewhat educated, at their skimpy level, and Russia could send some to work there as well. Russia itself wasn't anywhere near advanced except in weaponry and the space program., and Ukr, along w/their other possessions, was their obedient vassal.
1
-
I have no idea what happened in Afghanistan,, what Russia did or didn't do there, or what their goals were either. W/regards to Ukr, Ukr doesn't stand a chance against Russia. It has no weapons, no money, no expertise, nothing at all to counter them. Ukr is their backwater province, not an independent country in the first place, so I am not even sure what they want now but whatever it is, they won't get it.

@timthorson52 I don't know what you're talking about. Russia wasn't in control of Ukr since the medieval times? I was born in Moscow, Russia, and remember from my own experience that Russia was in control of every single thing, all of its satellites including Ukr. Russian troops sat everywhere. They didn't fight each other b/c there was no need, but if any one province had rebelled, it would've been crushed in a matter of minutes. Even their European satellites , like Hungary, Poland, etc were dealt with in a speedy fashion when they attempted dissent. it was a complete and absolute domination. I don't know about now, i am no longer there, but I am guessing that Ukr is trying to get away, well, no such luck. It's being duly punished.

doctorsurgeon4664 LOL, no evidence of rape? What kind of evidence do you want to see? They had body cam footage clearly showing it; multiple eyewitness accounts, captured terrorists admitted it out loud in Arabic, you can see those vids and hear the language if you understand it. Father, son and a friend, all three, gang- violated a woman. The interrogator asked, "Was the woman alive afterwards"? son said, no, my father killed her. Testimony by the son, available here on youtube and Israeli media in Arabic. even the UN admitted it. You can say whatever you want to say, it doesn't alter the truth.

Living in the fantasyland, no less. On their last legs, they're trying to dictate. They're goners, their "battalions" are decimated, leaders killed or in hiding, thousands surrendered, even civilians, their reliable human shield, are rebelling against them, what are they trying to achieve? Do they themselves know? Gee, just surrender, release the hostages and try to stay alive if you can. There is no afterlife, no 72 gals waiting for you. Fanaticism beyond belief.

@thomastemmerman7276 It was on the map as a territory, not a county, under the British mandate (the last custodian of the land). that ended in 1948. Now it comprises independent 3 entities/states: 1. The Kingdom of Jordan, capital Amman, regime-monarchy, current monarch--king Abdullah, 2. The State of Israel, capital Jerusalem, gov--Likud led coalition, PM --Benjamin Netanyahy. 3 the State of Gaza, capital Gaza City. gov/ruling party Hamas, gov leader Yahia Sinwar. None of these 3 states is called Palestine. Thank you

The "deal" was forced on Israel by Trump, not Witkoff. Witkoff is nobody, he acted on Trump's orders. That said, it's not Trump's fault, either. Trump is not the prez of Israel and he did, and will do, what's good for his country. If his interests coincides w/Israel's , ok, if not, he's not obligated. It's Israel's job to uphold its intersts and stand up to the pressures. Unfortunately, our current gov is clearly unable to do so. So put them blame where it belongs.

@shawnallan4775 Sure, you know what's going on behind the closed doors. The US never set foot in Gaza w/the exception of a small force that supposedly was trying to locate the hostages, which I don't believe it one day, but OK. Gaza is not the US possession, nor is it Saudis' possession, and the Saudis held talks w/Israel forever w/the Gaza issue not even being on the table one minute. The Saudis couldn't care less about Gaza. The fact that Israel used US-made bombs is no secret but it has nothing to do w/the Saudis, either. There was a sales agreement between Israel and the US (now apparently abrogated by the US), the Saudis had nothing to w/it. The refueling in the UK had nothing to do w/the Saudis, either. The UK certainly didn't ask anybody's permission to do that. The oil trade has little to do w/it either. If the Saudis don't want to sell their oil, which is the only avenue for revenue they have, we can buy elsewhere and leave them high and dry. Thank you.

@workingmamma5342 There were Arabs who came to the area from neighboring countries attracted by the prospects of job, better healthcare, etc. Before Israel came into being, everybody who lived there was considered a Palestinian, the Jews, the Arabs, the Christians, etc. Once Israel was proclaimed, it changed. The country became Israel, the ppl Israelis, and the word Palestine fell out of use. The lands that were allocated by the UN to the local Arabs fell under the jurisdiction of Jordan and Egypt, and thus, their prospective state was dismembered before it was born. So , there is no Palestine and has never been. The ppl who devised the plan were the UN in 1947, and no, they didn't own the land, nor did they ever say so. It was not by the right of ownership that they did it. And whether or not we have legitimacy in your view matters zilch. Take care.

I don't know if you live in Israel or not, but if not, maybe you're not fully aware of what happened on Oct 7. They attacked the border communities which were extremely pro-Arab. Those ppl loved the Arabs and sincerely believed in peace. They hired them for work on their farms, paid they well, invited them to their houses (that's how they knew which houses to attack, their layouts, etc), and then they came and butchered them. What's important to understand is that for the Arabs, there are no friendly Jews, they don't care what you think about them. They want to kill you just b/c you're Jewish. It's the same as the Germans. The German Jews didn't do them anything wrong, they were the most assimilated group among the European Jewry, they were very loyal to their country, and then the Germans exterminated them. This is the crux of the matter. And this is why there is no co-existence.

The more I hear this spiel, the less I believe it. The longer the delay is, the more vicious and emboldened Hamas becomes. They had a deadline by the start of Ramadan to surrender the hostages or face Rafah. The deadline came and went and nothing happened. They've regrouped in Al Shifa and now we're having to pay for the same real estate twice and w/interest. Bibi was elected by Israel, not by Biden, and taking orders from Biden is not only a disgrace but a danger to the whole nation of Israel. Biden doesn't want Hamas to go, he wants it to stay, it's clear as day, his goal is the eventual eradication of Israel, just like it's the Arabs' goal, they're on the same page on that. If Bibi continues to bend the knee to him, we're goners. In 1967, we beat 3 standing armies of 3 countries in 6 days, now we can't beat a bunch of hoodlums in 6 months?? bravo Bibi, great job. I salute you, man.

@Mirul-ef3jb I thought I already replied to you, sorry if you didn't receive it. 1. I said absentee landlords sold their deeds too the Jews who came in the late 19th century. The money for the purchase was raised by international community, mostly Jewish communities around the world. So those were legal purchases, nobody was displaced. The Jewish enterprise in the Holy Land (Israel) attracted Arabs b.c the Jews provided jobs and services. When Israel came into being in 1948, the Arabs were encouraged to stay. Those who did are now citizens of Israel, 20% of population. Others left voluntarily following the call of Arab neighbors who went to war w/Israel and lost. Still the Arabs were allowed too return if they wanted to and could prove their land deeds. Everything would've been returned to them or they would've been compensated. Intifada, as you call it, was a terror wave that the Arabs in Israel started in the 1990s after the Oslo accords so as to derail them. 1,000+ Israelis were killed then. It had nothing to do w/displacement. That word in Arabic is Nakhba for displacement, not intifada. Finally, the Holy Land is not Palestine, it's Israel. Thank you for your time.

@NerdicusGoblinski Would you mind showing me the document where it's openly expressed? All I know we gave Sinai to Egypt, gained nothing in return, plus offered the Arabs a state on both sides of Israel, which they refused many times, I don't know what else they want, Oh wait, I know. They want to leech of us as they have since 1967, get every last thing from us, money, jobs, services, utilities, etc nothing of their own, everything from Israel, no wonder they don't want a state. Genocide? Really? They don't want to live w/us, just go, no holding you. Except that like it here, like to cry victims while driving their Mercedeses to pick up the UN handouts. not one casualty count has ever been verified by anybody. Hamas could say 1 million died and they would believe it. No, the court didn't find anything, a supposition is not a verdict. Thank you

@mostafarah Honey, it makes no difference where your ancestors were born. In this day and age, ppl migrate all over the world. Millions of Arabs and others are coming to the US and other parts of the world, Europe is inundated w/them, the British PM is not a Brit, in Australia, there is an Asian minister, here in the USA, Ron Desantis is of Italian descent, the Cuomo family are the same, the Kennedys are Irish, and there are millions more. I am not a born American either, my ancestry is Russian, and what? Am I not allowed to live here and have a US citizenship? Not allowed to speak English as my primary language? The same in Israel, dear. We have immigration, we're open to everybody and have ppl from all corners of the Earth. There have been over 3 million ppl since the State that immigrated into Israel. Nothing you can do about it. Absolutely nothing. Sorry you're upset.

@ryuukakhadijah7766 I am sorry , Sir/Ma'am, you keep repeating the same posts over and over again, nothing new. You've already said that but never said what specifically the world knows. And may I humbly ask another question, "Who is the world?" I am not expecting your answers, though, b/c you never answered any other questions, or added any worthwhile insights. It's OK if you don't know,. One person can't know everything, it's impossible, but you act as if you did and this is kind of disappointing. I was hoping to have a productive discussion but it seems like it's not working out this way. I am really sorry and thank you very much for your kindness, take care

@brandonr1127 Jews have lived in the land for millennia, the Arabs came much later, so the occupiers are the Arabs, not the Jews. But even if it were the opposite, it doesn't matter. The Americans are in charge on America, not the indigenous ppl those are in reservations and have no say. Arabs are overrunning Europe, N. America and Australia, and they're certainly indigenous to those countries, I can tell. Spain and later England colonized half of the world, while themselves being small countries. And thus we're where we are now, regardless, Sorry you're upset.

Hama$ has no incentive to break the ceasefire b/c the deal, if it goes through, keeps them in power, which is what they want. It's a victory for them. But then again, we, Westerners, may have a different mentality altogether and don't understand them. As for the hostages, I fear the most for the adorable Bibas boys, I have kids of my own and can't help but draw parallels. On Oct 7, they ki--lled 38 kids/babies and over 100 lost at least 1 parent. And this is the 21st century, you say?

@mhogomchungu7168 Egypt, Syria, Jordan w/British trained and equipped standing armies, British officers being their top generals, plus Iraq and beyond, started in 1948,, lost. 1967--lost, 1973 lost. Now they don't have heavy weapons, , just small arms. that include RPG's and shot range projectiles.

@isawilraen9816 I am sorry, I don't know who Mileikowsky is, so I couldn't have claimed him/her to be a Middle Easterner. I thought the discussion was about the Israeli PM, Mr. Netanyahu, who was born in Tel Aviv, which , as you prolly know, is in Israel, and Israel is in the Middle East. How how can he be not a Middle Easterner if he was born there? Besides, even if he wasn't born there, if he was born elsewhere in the world, it wouldn't matter for his position. The law allows non-native born to run for office, it's that simple. In the US, the law requires that the prez be American born, however, other elected/appointed officials don't have to be. In Israel, anybody can run for any office as long as they're citizens. Thank you.

@retroarcade3342 Sorry, I don't understand why he needs to hide anything. He was born in Tel Aviv, his dad was a college professor, a very educated man, he taught at the Ivy League, he himself went to the MIT, served in elite IDF forces, he has a stellar bio. What's there to hide? if anything, he should be proud, which, I am pretty sure,he is.

@TheUmyth I am sorry, I don't understand what a "project state" is. But, yes, Israel was established by the Jewish ppl who emanated from pre-State Palestine and came from other parts of the world. Neither the US nor the UK played any significant role. The UK, being the mandatory power from 1919 to 1948 did all they could to impede the Jewish immigration and the establishment of the State. They abstained in the UN vote and didn't recognize Israel even after its creation. The US was vehemently against it as well, but Truman insisted on the partition plan, yet not the State, there is a difference. The US slapped an arms embargo immediately after the establishment of the State. They do, however, recognized the State. But recognition and establishment are not the same, either. I don't know what you mean by "legal" and "occupation", either. Thanks for posting.
1
-
@TheUmyth The UN partition plan was just that, a plan, not an order. It was a non-binding resolution of the general assembly and the Arabs were free to reject it, which they did. I am not saying they had to accept it, they made their choice. The Yeshuv accepted it, and that was their choice too. The Arabs went to war, OK, that was their choice as well. But they lost the war, and as is often the case, they lost land. Aggress--ion seldom pays. You can look at Germany after WW2, which lost tons of land as a punishment for the aggres--sion. I am sorry but I can't answer you rhetorical questions about recognizing, establishing, occupation, etc. I can only tell you the facts. yes, the Jews of the Yeshuv and those who came from other parts of the world established the State of Israel. No, it was not set up by the US, UK, UN or any other entities. It was set up by the people of Israel. Those who perished in the holocaust were dead, so they couldn't participate, but those who survived, those who came from other countries, not affected by WW2, such as the US, Canada, South America, Australia, the Middle East and Africa, and most importantly the Yeshuv, built the state. Thank you.

@TheUmyth I am sorry, I thought I just said that the UN resolutions are non-binding, and they had every right to reject it, which they did. You said that coming from a higher power, they should be. Yet now you're saying that b/c the UN chopped off part of their land, they were within their right not to follow it. I am with you on that. They didn't have to accept it. I don't see how they were "defeated by the powerful UN". If they ignored the resolution, that's the end of it. There is no defeat. They were defeated by Israel, that's what happened, but not by the UN. The UN didn't fight against them. Actually, the UN gave them more land than to the Yeshuv and included some of the land that the Yeshuv had purchased and paid for. They started the war against Israel, not conversely. They allowed Jordan and Egypt to confiscate their lands. Why did they do that? Why didn't they fight against them to defend what was theirs? Israel had no designs on their land but Jordan and Egypt did, and they took them. In the 1990s, Jordan ceded that land to Israel, and now it's no longer in dispute. Gaza was an independent state since 2005. There is no more land in the area to give them; it can't be further divided.

@KD1982-zz6hv Why did I end up in the US? Why do millions end up in the US? They have no American ancestry. I have no American ancestry. My parents didn't even speak English. I, however, speak English, hold the US citizenship, own real estate in the US, have bank accounts in the US, pay taxes to the US gov, vote in the US elections, have every right and privilege born Americans have, including those whose ancestors came on the Mayflower. If you can't make sense of it, I can help. It's called migration. TY

@lukas14ub Not sure what post you're replying to, and what Yonatan Netanyahu had to do w/anything that's going on in Israel now. Unfortunately, he's long dead and his bro Bibi is nowhere near what you're trying to make him into. He's a si--ck, sold out, self-serv--ing oppo--rtu--nist who takes bri----bes and orders from Biden and who couldn't care less about his country or ppl. He did nothing of what you listed in your post, he's playing games and pretending. He talks tough, that's the only thing he can do, but then turns around and does the opposite. He did nothing in Gaza. Hama$ is still in full force after over a year, Iran/Hezbo untouched, and now they'll rearm and regroup and hit again, this time possibly w/at--o--mics.

@henocadadoh4801 I am terribly sorry, Sir/Ma'am, and I apologize for my limitations, I guess it's only human, and I believe you're not exactly a genius either, but I am OK w/it and certainly wouldn't call you anything but great, except that none of your assertions are true in any way. We didn't have armor or air force or any heavy weaponry at all deployed in the area at that time, and that was a big problem. which is under investigation now. No Air force officer could testify to anything b/c he simply wasn't there. If the area had been thus fortified, no invasion would've taken place, as you probably understand. Also, how come there were hostages and prisoners held by Hamas? Why would Hamas take hostages/prisoners? I am kind of shocked to hear that. What was their goal? Those ppl were civilians, what would they do w/them? I saw footages of bloody rooms and baby cribs in the houses and heard testimonies of survivors about various assaults which are now investigated by the UN, but those were just neighbor disputes or gang related violence, right? It couldn't have been Hamas perpetrating that. I know Israelis are very hostile to each other and kill their own left and right, so I am not surprised, but Hamas doing that?? They're the noblest of the noble and the most humane gov in the world. I hope I am right. Thank you for your time.

I would strongly doubt that Israel shared this info w/the US. They've learned the hard way not to do that. So the info, if true, prolly comes from spying and/or Biden's agents within the Israeli gov. Now the timing of the leak is pretty indicative, 2 weeks prior to the election and Biden's desire for Israel to stop the war so as to help Harris to elect. The Israeli gov as a whole is Biden's pa--nsy anyway which, instead of attacking Iran back in April, yielded to the pressure and did nothing. If it had attacked then, there would be more Iranian threat, or Hezbo's threat and even Hama$. The US as every country in the world takes care of its own interests, but Israel, instead of doing the same for themselves, is doing American bidding. Their choice, after all.

@dalehufton8194 Look first they did kill a few ppl, 2nd, they denuded the north completely, and ppl have no chance of coming back, thus Israel's land is shrinking, that's what the want, it's their war of attrition, to wear us down, force emigration and strangle the country. They don't want a total war, don't want n-u-k-e-s until they have their own, which they will and they'll deploy them w/o hesitation b/c they know too that Israel will never retaliate.

@محمدبريداوي Palestine was never a country. It was a territory under different occupiers at different times. The last one was a custodian, not a real occupier, but a governor, which was the UK. Before it was Turkey. They were never prosperous and never a state. The Europeans (the Brits) were very friendly to them and assisted greatly in their terror attacks against the Jews. They then went on to train the Jordanian army and became their top officers. And even today, the UK, which is heavily populated by Moslem Arabs is still their important ally, the same are , France, Spain, Norway, and other countries.

Actually, the casualties were inflicted by those who stampeded the trucks, that is, by the ppl themselves plus Hamas got involved as usual. Hamas steals the aid, there is plenty of evidence of that, they jump on the trucks and throw the cargo off them. I mean ppl are helpless against those strong young men who are also armed and shoot at will. Israel provides the aid in huge quantities, all the crossings are open, the food flows into Gaza, there is no starvation, except that Hamas take it, but then ask Hamas, hold them accountable. And I'd suggest the female anchor stop yelling, she's plain hysterical. It's not very professional. but then again, it's a professional report, either, thank you.

@joancooley1387 The Iran regime is propped by the US money and other monies, that's how it funds itself and the proxies and oppresses its ppl. The ppl living under this type of oppression are not happy but of course, as long as the money's coming in, the regime is strong and. they can't do very much to rebel, they'll be eliminated. yet They don't seem to like their gov the way Gazans love Hamas. The better relations w/Israel, would be beneficial for them in terms of technology, knowhow, etc, just like other Arab countries are benefitting already. That's why they want Israel and dearly love it no matter their public pronouncements. Currently they too are afraid of Iran and see in Israel a formidable opponent to it, but this seems like a temporary factor. So my take is, once the US money stops, and the hope is it stops if Trump is back, tables may turn.

@jimmyromano4525 I am sorry you think this way, I am sorry you believe fake actors , I am sorry you think that Likud is right wing (Likud is actually left of center, but think what you may, you clearly never set foot in Israel, the Jews who you know are highly unlikely to be Israelis, they're prolly those who live in your country and know as much as you do, I am sorry you fall for Aljazeera's preaching about "innocent civilians" and giving out fake images and highly inflated death toll in Gaza (the numbers killed are nowhere near what they say and those killed are mostly Hamas operatives who surrounded themselves w/women and kids, there is nothing we can do to prevent this, Hamas is the gov for which they voted and which they support whole heartedly. I am sorry you believe that Iran is trying to defend the palestinians arabs, Iran has not fired a bullet on their behalf ever. Iran funded and trained Hamas w/one sole purpose, the eradication of the State, but alas, this is not to be. Thank you

@strazer5728 Unfortunately for you, this is not the case. The Arabs are not fighting for their freedom, they're free already. They have their own state and their own elected gov called Hamas. Unfortunately for them, Hamas stole all the funds that were allocated for their development and used them for building tunnels and smuggling weapons. Most ppl still support it though and are part of it b/c it pays them, so for many it's a financial decision, no more. It's unfortunate too that they're not very smart or educated and take in everything Hamas tells them, specifically that they need to kill Jews and other infidel and that will ensure them eternal martyrdom and glory. And that's what they did on Oct 7. Most of those are already enjoying eternal glory b/c the IDF killed most of them on that day. Very few managed to escape, mostly those who ran back early in the day. Now they're reaping the harvest, their civilians die, but Hamas doesn't care, in fact the more the merrier, that could garner them public opinion support. But public opinion is gas, and that they don't seem to understand either. Israel will prevail as it always has.

@user-wo8Iw9km4w Sir/Ma'am, what are you talking about? Israel has immigration policies just like every other country and according to those, every Jewish individual or a family member thereof can come and settle here. Exceptions are made for non-Jews also under certain circumstances. Ppl can also convert if they wish. I don't know where you live and what Palestinians you see and where. There are Arabs/Muslims who prolly live in your country b/c now they seem to live everywhere, but those are not Palestinians,, they're Arabs. There are no European settlers as you called them. They're citizens of Israel, not settlers. Israelis come from different countries as well as from the locals who've lived here for millennia. I don't know what documents you're talking about. Ppl who come have paperwork from their countries, those born here have birth certs. You can become a citizen of Israel by birth or naturalization, just like in the US. I don't have to ask my grandparents about anything, sorry. My family is from Moscow, Russia, and I am a US citizen and a US passport holder. That's my paperwork. I am not religious, thus not interested in conversion. Thank you.

I disagree. Look, we already got around 100 hostages back in exchange for a few days of pause and pali prisoners, who, I hope, were promptly re-arrested if returned to their places of residence other than in Gaza. It was when we didn't control half of Gaza, as we were told. Now we're down to about the same number again, plus they're in a smaller place than before. Additionally, we're told that Hamas is on its last legs, out of ammo, and its "freedom fighters" are surrendering in droves and/or being killed in the same. What it will take now is stopping the aid, ,fuel, etc, and keeping the military pressure on. My 2 cents . I am not military.

@hellothere1656 Deir Yassin is only one example, I don't know what you mean by "onwards". Onwards is not a date or an event. There were many more killings of Jews in the pre-state Palestine than that, but regarding this specific event, here is what happened. Irgun attacked the village but the account comes from the Haganah. Haganah and Irgun were rivals, and it's very possible, as suggested by later historians, that Haganah greatly exaggerated the event. There is little to no testimony of the arabs themselves and no accounts at all of any one woman. There is also a suggestion by the most recent historian that it didn't happen at all, but I wouldn't be in the position to agree or disagree w/it. I wasn't there. In general, no paramilitary Jewish groups in the mandatory Palestine were in any way hostile to the Arabs, they mainly fought w/the Brits. The arabs however were very aggressive, they destroyed many Jewish convoys including the Hadassah med convoy that carried outstanding clinicians from Hadassah hospital. never mind that the hospital was open to the Arabs and provided treatment to them that their med centers didn't have. That said, I am yet to hear the non-stop bombings and massacring of the Arabs. Thank you

@Matthew_Loutner This is probably true, peace is the better choice-if, and I repeat, if- it's possible to achieve. It's unfortunate but ever since the State came into being, and even before, most notably, after the Partition vote, the Arabs have chosen confrontation over conciliation, and b/c we are and have always been, even pre-state, the superior army and nation, they're getting the heavy end of the stick.

@arturferrao7353 Wiki also calls Palestine a country/state, so there goes its credibility. The state is called Gaza, not Palestine. Palestine has never been a country and is not now. I am sorry, I can't take wiki's statements on faith. 2. The UN can think what they want, they've always been biased against Israel. Not a credible source, either. There wasn't one Israeli soldier in Gaza, how is it a military occupation. 3. If Israel had controlled anything at all in Gaza, the Oct 7 would've have happened. Israel had no control at all while they were building their tunnels and smuggling weapons. 4. No buffer zone existed, it's being built now after Oct 7 and everybody is up in arms about that too. 5. Gaza was dependent on us for the utilities? Tough, go build your own infrastructure, go build your industry, you're a state, stop mooching off us and the UN. Mercy of the f00ls.

Not one real word from a real person in this vid. Captions and voiceovers. Fake news, sorry. The arabs are covering their faces, nobody knows who they are and what they said. You can put whatever words in their mouths, we don't know if they really said that. There are pics, not real footages. No time stamps, nothing to prove their authenticity.
No, Israel doesn't want to kill the hostages. Israel didn't kidnap one person, Hamas did it. They took 250 ppl, innocent civilians, who did them nothing wrong. Since then, they killed 70. How is that Israel wants to kill them? What kind of logic is that? Who in their right mind would believe it? Thank you

Maybe when he takes office, hopefully so, but now Hama$ is undeterred, they're making demands, they haven't budged one inch, they still want the end of the war, Israel's withdrawal from Gaza, rebuilding, and staying in power. They're not even providing a list of living hostages. Why? B/c they're getting aid daily, they're fed and fueled, they have no reason to yield. So Trump or no Trump, they'll never surrender or let the hostages go.

@Boofbaff I appreciate your advice to apply for an ambassador position although not sure who you are to offer it. I don't remember seeing you anywhere near. No, I wouldn't be interested in such a position anyway for many reasons. That said, Gaza was an independent state starting 2005 and until Oct 7, 2023, when it attacked another independent state, Israel, which rose to its defense, as expected, and now Gaza is no longer independent and its future uncertain. Most likely it will be annexed by Israel and populated by Israelis. it's plum real estate, lots of money to be made. In the past, Israel was very much open to the 2 state solution but after Oct 7, the window of opportunity closed for good. The Arabs proved once and for all that it's an impossibility. So Israel will rein from the river to the sea. Thank you.

@carrerau7138 Hamas was elected in 2006 or 2007 by a landslide, after which they removed the PA from power while also killing their gov officials and throwing them from the roofs of the buildings). Since then, they never held another election, and all the foreign aid was spent on building tunnels and smuggling weapons through Egypt. Hamas bosses are currently worth billions of dollars and live in Qatar and other countries in palatial villas and staying in luxury hotels. After relinquishing Gaza , Israel was no longer able to set foot there, the army/civilians were removed, and so we couldn't prevent the weapon smuggling. The ppl of Gaza provided all kinds of support, allowing them to use their buildings, schools, hospitals etc as weapon storage facilies, rocket launch pads etc All that culminated on Oct 7.

@derbidrdlimitededition4263 Sir/Ma'am, the history of the Arab terror didn't start on oct 7, you can say that again. As long as Jews and Arabs dwelled in the Holy Land, the Arabs wouldn't leave them alone, they terrorized them time and time again, and this is just another time, whether or not they have a state. A state was offered to them by the UN even before Israel was in existence, and at least 4 times since and refused. There is nothing else we can do. We created the state of Gaza for them in 2005, they took it and turned it into a military base. We're not gonna do it again, sorry. It was a failed experiment. 2. there were never terrorist organizations named Haganah, Lehi or Irgun. Those were paramilitary groups which bothered the Brits and each other but seldom the arabs, and what happened to them once the state was proclaimed was that they were consolidated in one army, the Haganah le'Israel, (loose translation the defense forces of Israel)(haganah was also the largest group, . So the smaller groups continued their activities but under the united umbrella of the Haganah. Thank you

I agree that the part about Israel being destroyed if Harris is prez is an exaggeration. I also agree that perhaps her election will be a blessing in disguise and that we'll finally wake up and stop trusting the US and buying from them weapons that we can make here which will give us way more benefits than buying them from any country, but for that, we'll need a different gov, not Bibi, not Galant, not Lapid and their ilk, and certainly a different high command. As long as these ppl are in office, they'll grovel before the US, and make a concession after a concession to stay in their good graces. Look at their prosecution of the war. 11 months, 700 soldiers lost and countless civilians, and where is the victory against this gang of hoodlums? Hisbolla keeps shooting rockets and no response. Zero. Iran shoots rockets and no response. B/c Biden doesn't want them to lose and our gov is OK w/it. Yes, millions of Americans support us, but they don't have a say. They can't affect the gov policies.

I think the main reason why the Arabs reject a state of their own is not that they want it from the river to the sea. This is what their leaders are peddling to them and they, sadly, know no better. The real reason is that once Israel withdraws from the Administered Zones, it will take away the financial and other support that it's provided since 1967. Money, utilities, jobs, medical--every single thing that Arabs in the Zones have comes from Israel. Once they get their own state, all that will stop. They'll be on their own, and they'll have to develop their economy, infrastructure, generate revenues, provide jobs for the populace, health care, etc. They won't be able to do it. Their expertise is minimal, their leaders' corruption is huge, what little will be generated or provided by donors will be appropriated by them. There will be abject poverty in place of the current financial stability. And then, they may very well be faced w/a 4-pronged strike from their neighbors, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, which will swoop on them and each rip a piece for themselves. And such will be the end of their state. This is not happening b/c Israel is guarding them, but when Israel is gone, they're gone.

@mamoth8454 In other words, you're offering a one state solution and a merger of the Jews and Arabs, right? If so, this view is not opposed by some Israelis, even right wingers among them, like Caroline Glick, for instance. She wrote a book about it quite a while ago. She advocated incorporating all the areas into Israel (don't remember if she wanted to include Aza, but certainly Yehuda/Shomron). I personally don't have an opinion b/c quite simply, I can't imagine that, and mostly on the part of the Arabs. Unless they give up their religion b/c their religion teaches intolerance to anybody other than themselves and Jews first and foremost and doesn't allow apostasy. Judaism, on the other hand, doesn't preach against any religion; it welcomes conversion, and is a very peaceful and tolerant religion. So religiously speaking, it would probably be OK for the Jews to accept the Arabs, but not conversely. Now if you look at those Arabs who are Israeli citizens w/every right and privilege, you'll see a lot of hostility and backstabbing despite everything they get from their country. I don't know if that will ever change, it hasn't in 75 years. So I'd say your idea is probably good but is it practical? Thank you!

@luvitluvitbaby I have no reason to trust you, you haven't proven your trustworthiness at any point, sorry. What you're saying is soundbites and propaganda, no more. You don't seem to know any history of this region and relying on google or wiki is certainly not the way to educated yourself and thus establish any kind of trust. The law considers lands taken in a defensive war legal as of today. I guess you need to do more thorough research on that than wiki/google. And then again, it it were illegal, how come it's still going on unabated? Where is the enforcement? How come it's allowed for Russia to hold on to lands that it took in offensive wars? The US? The UK? Unless there is an agreement that land is leased for a period of time, it's lost. Sorry but aggression comes w/a price tag. It came w/a huge one in 1967,
The war in the north is very disastrous , we just need to cede the north to lebanon and let them fire their projectiles day in and day out. We have no right to defend, it's pretty obvious according to you.
Our leaders are very corrupt , yo u know each one personally , their charges in every detail and the fact that they are trying to stay out of jail. Wiki said so and thus this is the absolute truth. I hope you have a nice day
