  4.  @OldmanJM  I doubt price increases would occur anyway, that is if there is no increase in economic activity. Which I don't believe for one second would happen if our economy switched from the poverty wage model it has now to more sustainable wages. And any business that can't or won't survive such a transition deserves to burn to the ground then considering wages are lousy for most open jobs anyway. We have the too much welfare like the earned income tax credit to make up for employers paying lousy wages.

  6. Restaurants like Chic fil a make millions of dollars at each location. They pay their cashiers $9/hour when they COULD pay $100,000 a year.
