  1. Yes everyone does rely on luck. you have to be born being able to hear and see and breathe properly, you have to be born with arms and legs. You have to be born into a nation that has public services such as cops and judges and correctional officers that deals with crime, you have to be provided with enough food, Water, Shelter, health care, and transportation because you can't provide all these things by yourself and for yourself as a child or at any point in your life. You have to be lucky enough not to be killed in crime or a natural disaster or some other accident or be severely injured and disabled. Then on top of that all value is arbitrary, it's based on how we feel, which changes from place to place and time the time and person to person.
