Me not having money or independence is not truly what is stopping me, it's my mindset. I must believe I am important. I am somebody. Because I AM important. i AM somebody. Self-love will not solve everything in my life, but it is a good start. I must be open to taking risks with dating and women, and understand we're all trying to figure life out.

  13. His problem is that he sees economics as too simplistic. First off, skill and productivity are not the same. Second off, the only way to measure productivity is by how much money a company produces but that is determined by a myriad of factors, the least of which has to do with skill.

Yes working at McDonald's requires minimal Education and Training, but these workers are producing millions of dollars per year per store. They produce about $10,000 an hour during rush hour, thus they produce way more than minimum wage.

  18. I used to be an incel for a very long time, but I eventually hit rock bottom in my life and I confronted my real reason for being an incel: I was lazy and unwilling to grow up. In 2021, I was a NEET. In 2022, I returned to community college to try and finish the degree I started so long ago at 18(I am 28 now). In that span of time(2022 to present), I managed to complete 2 internships, hold down a job as a cashier, do volunteer physics research, complete a screenwriting class, win a screenwriting competition, attend a science conference, and complete a course as a student of a 4 year university. Although, I still lack skills(degree. Career. Training certification) and independence (driver's license. Car. And house). I'm also poor/socially isolated. And yes, I'm still a virgin. And an HHKV*hold less. Hug less. Kiss less. Virgin. And I've never dated. I've never asked a girl out on a date.

If he/she asks for the pay that they want, the employer will replace them with someone else who is willing to work for less. When the supply of workers is so high that it is practically unlimited, then employees compete for employers, not the other way around. This means that no individual worker has any power on their on in setting wages. And most workers accept employment because the alternative is death.

Yes start a business....with no money from slave wages, no free time because you're being worked into the ground, no skills because a college degree is unaffordable for most people and even if you somehow got one still no guarantee of decent wages, and unaffordable health care. Let's not also forget mental illness, injury, children, and age are all factors in determining your success too. Most people are barely scraping by, living paycheck to paycheck, but they'll create a corporation in no time? Got it. Also right to work/at will employment means unions have no presence/power and workers can't collectively negotiate that way either.

By the way, all of these require government intervention because as I said before no individual worker is as powerful as an entire company or industry. No way any janitor at McDonald's is going to just demand to be paid more by the restaurant owner or CEO and expect it go dandy. That's not happening.
