Good point.

That's a scary term, proportional force, when the government gets to determine proportionality.

True, but irrelevant to the point of the order.

I believe it unconstitutional for employers to forbid their employees the ability to protect themselves, which, more importantly, is a natural right. This also goes for businesses that post "No Firearms" signs directed at their customers. They do not get to tell me where I am allowed to defend myself.

Pretty sure ALL judges pledge ..."to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America." She should be disbarred and lose her judgeship. And all her cases should be thoroughly reviewed for unconstitutional bias.

It looked like he was trying to unload the shotgun, which he also did incorrectly.

True, but irrelevant to the point of the order.

@craigcicerello4289 Nothing to offer? Clearly, you have not read the contract.

Sorry, Florida is the greatest state! And yes, Landman is an excellent series.

Horrible firearm representation. But to be fair, however, that was a toaster/convection oven, not a microwave. I assume she had it on Low or Dehydrator mode to dry the rounds. But only the writer really knows.

I think open carry should be legal in all the states with no permit. I also think only an idiot would open carry. Why in the world would you want to advertise that, to feel cool? To make people fear you? It's an insecure gesture to open carry.
1
I've read that this ruling does not affect previous ATF "rules," unfortunately.
1
Why in the world did the idiot ask? You don't ask the organization that doesn't want you to have firearms. The courts ruled. End of story.

Attorneys on Retainer! That is all. USCCA can drop your coverage if charged.
1
He can't. Police chiefs are not elected officials, unlike sheriffs. The are appointed by the Mayor or city counsel.

I assumed he was using subsonic rounds that didn't create enough energy to cycle the slide all the way back. The booster explanation is probably more likely. Appreciate the lesson. And I definitely need to do another ammo check with my EDC.
1
Not a fan of open carry. On face value, it seems to be an insecure, low self esteem mindset. I prefer to not advertise when I'm packing.
1
Not sure of the relevance of your unsupported comment. The NRA has done more to protect the 2A for ALL Americans than any other organization.
1
You called them "YN's." I like it. I prefer The Black Conservative's term, "Young Scholars" a little better, though.

I remember watching an NRA infomercial in the 90's that used Australia's recent gun ban, at that time, to alert Americans to anti-2A politicians attempts to ban firearms and require a registry. Fast-forward to now, Australia has gotten worse, and the US has managed to keep the 2A alive and well...which is a constant battle. The infomercial worked! I joined the NRA back then while in my 20's.

Back in the 80's, my dad gave me my first rifle at age 12, a single-shot 22 for Christmas. A few years later I got a 12ga shotgun. Gun ownership and stewardship is not a one-size fits all. I wouldn't dare give my son a firearm, and I keep mine locked in a gun safe. He is just not responsible or mature enough. I bet the father can look back and analyze his kid's past behavior and see signs that he was not ready to have access to firearms. Should the father be charged? Certainly not for murder or manslaughter. But standby for political grandstanding, virtue signalling and a judicial railroad job against him.

Government has demonstrated, time and time again, that in "perceived" emergencies, they will 100% violate their oaths to uphold the Constitution and put citizens in danger. And REMEMBER THIS: The actions before, during and after Katrina prove that LEOs and soldiers will follow orders, even unlawful and unconstitutional orders.
1
This all sounds contrived. I'm curious to know how you "physically" rob crypto currency, you know, because it's digital. It's like saying someone robbed my house and stole my 401k.
1
I disagree. Maybe a 3rd degree manslaughter or something like that. But certainly not a murder charge.
1
Got some geniuses there in Dallas who think of every possible scenario before implementing freedom-robbing rules for the public. 🤦 Nothing about that decision is rational as a response to a shooting by a criminal with firearm he didn't legally possess.

If the teens were, in fact, ringing and running, as opposed to banging on the door, then that would explain the arrest of the homeowner. Hope the homeowner didn't make any statements that can be used against him. He needs to shutup and lawyer up. And the victims' families need to accept the fact that their sons engaged in very stupid and dangerous activities...and FAFO'd.
1
Shame on you for accepting USCCA as a sponsor. They are an insurance company that will look for any and every reason not to cover your defense.
1
I like this guy! He is the tip of the spear in that effort. I wish him well.
