I'm sure they look at the absence of normal activity (phone calls, bank activity, social settings, etc.) to make a determination. But unless they have physical evidence, including forensic evidence, it will be very difficult to get a murder conviction.

Never get out of your vehicle. The person with the cellphone video failed to get a clear image of the plate. WTF, get a new phone! Luckily, there was a PCPD Officer that saw the event and chased down the truck.

The youths' behavior indicated that they new homeowner. Wouldn't surprise me if he was a dealer or something. He definitely needs some range time. You've got 3 guys funneled in a doorway and you can't bring down a single one of them? BTW, it's pronounced es-CAM-bia county, not es-COM-bia.

Great invention. Unfortunately, criminals also evolve and adapt and will probably attempt more aggressive maneuvers to avoid the net (once it becomes more prevalent). And there has got to be a mph limit on the system's effectiveness. Wouldn't speeds above 80 still result in a crash, including the police cruiser?

Permitted? The 2nd Amendment doesn't "permit" citizens to own firearms. It tells the government that they can't take them away. Big difference.
