And the cars are probably leased. He may appear wealthy, but on paper he might not have enough income to get credit. Do you think Jeter owned his home on Harbor Island? Nope. It was buried in layers of trusts.

  10. The channel between the north part of beach and the TECO seawall can see strong currents during tide changes. An outgoing high tide can create pretty strong currents.

  13. Not entirely accurate. There are so many variables regarding solar systems and potential savings. Much of the cost of these systems is for labor, so if you DIY it, your break even point could be as little as 5 years, leaving you with 15 to 20 years of free energy.

  17.  @bobblacka918  Whole home solar systems can be purchased for around $20k and DIY installed with little skill. Much of the cost of the systems you refer to is for labor and commissions. I would never consider the door-knocking solar companies.

  18. It was not a riptide situation. There is a channel on one side of the peninsula that has a strong current during tide changes. It was an outgoing tide, so the toddler clearly ventured too far out and got swept away.

  23. Misleading title! If over 100 of the arrests were prostitutes (and possibly victims) and nearly 100 were Johns, then really you probably only got a handful of arrests that were engaged in human trafficking. Which is great! But it most certainly is not what the title suggests.
