Investment is the easiest way to generalize the creation of value, and the US has benefited enormously by aligning incentives for its population to grow business.   4. Does anyone know what this guys background is? Where he grew up? What his job is? He seems very informed on Asia obviously, and I’ve wondered if he has a job which requires him to work with or from Asia.

  5.  @Avantime  - A large part of why the US became the biggest economy was because of novel financial instruments. The US is always trying to find ways to put money to work, which is why the 401k was adopted. It is all related to the US trying to maximize the production of the economy. Not sure why you felt the need to gatekeep.
