@olfmombach260 - I feel we are still a very long way from anything paradigm shifting. We have weighted matrices, and those are nice, but some kind of new paradigm will have to be developed to get AI that isn't simply incremental. What can AI really do right now? Adjust driving a bit? Predict what you like? You would need to design 3d neuron like circuits that could do more than interpret on/off signals, as the neurons in the brain can make sense of 30% deporalized states as well as on/off like states.
