@feckusmaximus3234 - I think what people are saying is that the Anglo culture allowed for properly functioning government institutions. Not talking about morality, simply the fact that they functioned well. Then, you had a socialist party like the ANC take over, and it existed under the broader culture of the black population. It clearly hasn't worked. For all the propaganda and slogans from groups like that and their western supporters, their actual policies are comically bad. They very much have a "blame anyone else but me" strain of thought, which is why they are so loved by progressives in the US. Because of this, these people will move heaven and earth to deny the facts that are right in front of them. A society based on personal responsibility, European enlightenment values, and a strong bent towards capitalism do the best in the world. It is an inconvenient fact for some who want a system that sounds nice but doesn't actually work well

@Mm-pc8tg - How is it racist to notice differences in culture? It isn't about the color of skin, it is about the kind of culture you often see in the global south. Or in America with certain minority groups. The "it's never my fault and if anything is bad it is because other people made it this way!" And those "other" people tend to be white people. Cultures can change, and it would be ludicrous to suggest that every culture is more or less equal and gets equal results. Is that seriously what you are claiming? Or do facts make you uncomfortable? Perhaps you are one of them who blames everyone else for your problems?

@johnwellbelove148 - I thought the UK was going all in with electric vehicles? Have the Tories not implemented a plan to update the infrastructure so EV's can be widely adopted? Do they even have a plan?

@johnwellbelove148 - In a way, it might be easier for the US since we have a car centric culture. Maybe that will provide an impetus to start changing the infrastructure quickly. But from what I have read, Britain is doing very good with renewable energy. Certainly better than we are. So it kind of surprised me to hear you guys didn't have some massive plan for this.
