@albierodriguez9797 - Yes, because Turkey is a NATO ally. No matter what you think of it, they are infinitely more important to the strategic goals of the US compared to the Kurdish. Their ability to contain the Russian Navy, their location to put fast strike nukes aimed at Moscow, etc.... We owed the Kurdish nothing, yet we gave them a significant amount of money and trained them. We could have done nothing at all and then not been a "traitor" as all the limp wristed European countries do.
