Weird, the allies didn't let trucks through to Nazi Germany. It's called war, why would Israel supply their enemy? Do you think Palestinians have the right to slaughter Israelis with no response? I guess Jewish lives just don't mean a whole lot to you?

@Pining_for_the_fjords - I really don't care if you are mocking me, you obviously only have a simple and tenuous grasp on this conflict, instead defaulting to a non-position that a million other people make. Palestinians enthusiastically chose Hamas. Interviews rarely, if ever, ask the Palestinians if they would accept Israel's right to even exist. From day one, these people have aimed to destroy Israel, and they haven't compromised an inch in 70 years. It is like the fanatical Japanese or nazi population, they are so brainwashed there is literally no humane way to defeat this evil in a war. Plenty of innocent German and Japanese kids died, but no one was wringing their hands calling the allies genocidal. Get my point? Or are your intellectual capabilities capped at mocking someone?

@Ljounieh - Do you realize Abbas hasn't held elections in the West Bank because he knows Hamas or a more radical group would win? Did you know it's common across the Arab world to have dictators that go against the will of their people, because the will of their people is sharia law and to destroy Israel? Check the polls. Check the literature. This is all easily verifiable. Your problem is that you lack imagination, you think these people are more or less like you. They have a radically different culture. They have become more and more fundamentalist and religious as rhe west has become less and less. Basically, you are comically uninformed, but thanks for trying.

Furthermore, you act as if the other votes were all for liberal ideas, they were not. Polls consistently show 80-90% want sharia law. They are 99% sunni and have driven out many minorities. They will set up an Islamic theocracy. Many of the other voters didn't think hamas was radical enough. They were feeling pressure for not attacking enough and not being radical enough, that much is easily researched. You are simping for a people who would set up a hard line Islamic theocracy, basically a new ISIS state. It is honestly unbelievable you guys remember to breathe. Your ideas about geopolitics are laughably naive.

They weren't created by oppression, they have never accepted Israel's right to exist. They never had a Palestinian state, they hoped to have one. Instead of accepting their state, they cared more about killing Jews. They specifically reframed their quest for destruction to one of anti-colonizarion specifically to bait gullible Westerners like you. Look up what the Vietnamese leader told Arafat, and then realize how easily you are used by Islamic extremists. Thank God people like you aren't anywhere near the decision making in this country.
