@will420high4 - Lol, I don't care what you think man. Memory loss from smoking weed is a very well known side effect. Now, how do you think that happens? It is because the hippocampus loses effectiveness in converting STM to LTM. It returns to normal function when sober, unless you are intoxicated all the time, in which case brain plasticity would mean you would lose long term function. There are soooooo many studied on memory loss and THC, and yet you aren't worth the time to enter the keywords into JSTOR.

@will420high4 - You said it got you interested in physics. Clearly you became a stoner and you weren't able to make anything of a scientific career. Also, I am a biochemist, weed is far from harmless. It reduced the function of your hippocampus by up to 50%, which is a staggering amount. This is why stoners rarely make a career in anything intellectually demanding.

Also, the hippocampus converts short term memory to long term memory, so your pithy dig didn't even make any sense. But what can you expect from stoners? They are usually a disappointment.
