Jesus, the entitlement of many in today's culture is astonishing. It is almost as if they think that the money they want just for being born is pulled out of the ether. Or some unlimited amount of funds the wealthy have. Even if we taxed our top 1% into the dust, it would come no where close to providing for the social programs so many think they are entitled to. So, you will be taxing ordinary, hard working Americans to ensure you have as comfortable a lifestyle as you deem necessary. I don't make much, roughly 50 K per year, and on top of that I pay child support which leaves me with even less. Yet I don't think for a second everyone else should be forced to work just so I feel comfortable. I am happy I can provide for my daughter and have enough to eat, what the hell is going on with people today that they think they deserve comfort simply for being born? That type of mentality will utterly destroy a nation.
