@zhuohangliu3239 - It isn't a model which can provide long term success. Stomping on everyone's rights and lives to industrialize is easy, China did that. Long term success requires capitalism. It is far more efficient and powerful than a command economy

@JohnDoe-gd3vl- To be fair, there wasn’t much French resistance at all until the second half of the war when things looked better for the allies. Not saying there was none, but it didn’t amount to much until the writing was on the wall. I get it though, they lost an entire generation in WW1. That has to damage the psyche of a country deeply.

India remains economically troubled because they adopted a very heavy state apparatus that makes investment less lucrative. It tried to have its own little socialism experiment, without actually going into full socialism, and it didnt work out well

I mean, what is the issue? The US cannot be there for every country, especially a country like China who should be able to look after itself. Even though the Chinese had no love for Americans and would soon turn communist, the US still supplied China with an enormous amount of money and supplies. That is where "Chank cash my check" came from. I would think the Chinese would have gratitude for America defeating an enemy they could have never defeated alone, but somehow it sounds like you are complaining you weren't given enough. This is why I want the US to be isolationist and leave Ukraine and Taiwan to their fate. People treat us like a piggy bank, like we aren't our own people with our own priorities. Even if we save them from annihilation, somehow we still get blamed. It's really tiring.

@Judah_889 - Which is why their economy was quite bad. They made their own decisions, but somehow it will be blamed on the West, it always is.

@commie5211 - It really shows a lack of class. I have noticed a lot of leftist led countries and populations are all about criticizing America and evil capitalism, yet America has done an enormous amount for them. Hell, look at Taiwan, it is being propped up by the US till this day. I think many people just need to stop being so needy, and at the very least, if you are going to constantly come begging and criticizing, maybe just leave us alone? Or be thankful and have some class? Or, continue to blame all your problems on everyone else, and continue to watch as leading nations and leading people focus on themselves and blame their problems on themselves. It is a sad state when so many people cannot own up to their own decisions, needing a boogeyman to blame all their problems on. And seriously, what is that excuse at the end? Your reason for being ungrateful and a choosing beggar is that America talks about wanting to spread democracy? Something it has objectively done even if it isn't to your standards, lol

@commie5211 - By the way, what has China ever done for America? Weird how as an American I hear people constantly moaning we didn't do enough, but it seems this relationship is very one sided. The second China was free from Japan, they made America an enemy. They nationalized American assets and stole from Americans who just got done helping them fight off invaders. So, why exactly should Americans care at all what you are saying? You bring nothing and expect everything.
