  1. I understand politicians will spin stuff to the public, that is to be expected. I think it was a good move by Roosevelt though. Can you imagine a world where nazi Germany had all of continental Europe? Even if the soviets would have eventually won, that means all of Europe would have been communist. Out of the options, the US forcing war and helping defeat nazi germany while saving some of Europe from communism was by far the best decision. I swear some of you think a nazi controlled Europe would have been a good thing
