  2.  @mnemonija - No, no they are not. Germany has lagged far behind the US over the last 10 years with basically no growth. The EU GDP is significantly smaller than the US GDP when they were roughly on par in 2008. The regulation, heavy taxes, and combative unions means that Germany is where innovation goes to die. Look at VW, they have far too many workers but they can’t do anything about it because unions won’t let companies innovate lest they cut down on workers. Turns out social democracy wasn’t really a great idea for long term prosperity

  3. DW does a halfway decent job except when it comes to social issues. Then they become progressive and illogical, listening to every sob story imaginable
