@AO-xd2ml - I live in the US, and the narrative that everything has to do with race is driven by specific groups which have very specific goals in mind. Their claims don't stand up to scrutiny. They basically say that any negative externalities associated with the black the demographic are due to racism. Literally no evidence to show a causal link, but apparently if they just say it then it must be true. These claims are often in the realm of social science, which famously is very bad at doing, you know, actual science.

Tell me, with something as complex as society involving 1000's of variables, how were you to determine that the failure in the black community was caused by white people? The North didn't even have Jim Crow laws, and that is where the majority of the population lived. So, you want to talk about slavery instead? Seriously? Something that ended in 1865? You want money in 2023 for something that ended in 1865? Furthermore, you want this money without any solid scientific evidence showing racism is the main causal factor linked to black poverty. You are asking for a divisive and unprecedented handout based on that.... OK. By the way, slaves in no way built America. They were mainly involved in cash crops in the South. The South was already far behind the North by the time of the Civil War precisely because slavery was not nearly as profitable as industry driven by a freeman. That is why the South never had any hope of winning. You guys twist history into an inaccurate mess just to further a victimhood narrative that is going to delay your development as a demographic. It is sad honestly.
